I let a lot of people down with Minecraft, I am sorry.
 
Truth is I have been having a lot of problems offline with my health, among other things. Not wanting to draw attention and hoping it would work itself out and allow me to actually sit down and work on Minecraft, I could never get that opportunity. I had high hopes for Minecraft and many things planned including a huge quest hub city, credits casino, mini games, large pvp arenas and ranked tournaments with prizes, among other things.

I see Minecraft division has a returning former DL to take over and offer the time and dedication it needs which sadly I couldn't provide. I am sure the division will do well.
 
I have decided its best for me to leave the clan and move on, hopefully sort myself out and see what happens.

-1 You we’re banned a total of 6 times, all for pretty much the exact same thing. You say that you’ve changed after only one month of being permed but I find that extremely hard to believe considering you got banned for a month only to just come back and get yourself permed.
I will however +1 if you do an unban challenge, otherwise that’s a hard no from me. Sorry.

I did not say medication cured my ADHD, you can overcome it and I did because I trained myself not to be jumping everywhere. Wanna know how? All I did was sit down in a chair, for 5 minutes.

Just to add on a bit, considering you have had a significant history of arguing with staff in the past still haven't learned not to, a day ban is COMPLETELY justified.

You got banned for arguing with staff but he could have muted you is your response?  that is out right stupid, staff arnt baby sitters you broke rules were punished twice then came back and fought with them over it then got banned i see nothing wrong here, 24 hours is a bit much but knowing its you and this is normal, from what i have seen of you, the 24 hours is totally justified.

if anyone needs more context, someone was micspamming and someone of the staff told them to stop or they'd get muted/banned/kicked or something or other and goldfish says "so if I play music does that count as micspamming" and after I told him yes, as well as not to do it because he knows full well that it's micspamming, he does it anyways in the background. I asked him to stop (he didn't) so I muted him, told him directly to turn it off or stop using his mic. Unmuted him, it was still on, I kicked him with the message "turn the music off". He rejoined and the first words out of his mouth were "are you trolling me?" I told him no, I wasn't, and that the music in the background was an issue and from there he argued with me that it wasn't and continuously tried to loophole his way out of a punishment, and I banned him. (fyi I was only going to have the first ban as 10 minutes, but admin discretion comes before moderator and danny had said 24 hours so I went with that)

you weren't banned for the music in the background (although that is what I initially warned/muted/kicked you for), you were banned for arguing with not only me, but multiple other staff members as well. when they told you the same thing I did you told them the same thing - "you can't punish me for having music on in the background!" if you read the ban on SourceBans, it doesn't say "playing music in the background," it says "arguing, ignoring admins" which was why I banned you
keep in mind this music wasn't 'quiet' or 'faint', it was loud enough to the point where a) I could tell it was Enter Sandman by Metallica and b) it was hard to understand you. that is why I asked you to turn it off; if someone has a bad microphone or something in the background that can make it difficult to understand them (read: music) then staff members are by all means allowed to ask them to either fix it or to stop using their mic (unless this has changed since I was an admin, but it hasn't to my knowledge)
it's a 24 hour ban, wait it out.

In our tf2 servers i think that there should be tuant commands for us players out there. When i was playing, some one that was a donator was having to find the ID to the taunt they wanted and they were having to do it to other people for them to use it too. There are other people like me that dont have donator (and dont have taunts) becuase they dont have paypal or whatever/aren't old enough to have it. So well these are my reasons of why i think we should have a taunt command that is done in chat for everyone. Even though i know there are not many reasons and this is short, but these are my reasons. Ill see you guys later!

Your right, it’s not there job to babysit But a mod shouldn’t be taking unesasary measures to resolve conflict. I feel like there’s a disconnect between people responding here and what actually happened. I was muted for having music in the background. I missed the initial warning of no music in the background because it was casually typed in all chat without even using the all green staff color. After that of course I saw the warnings so I turned my music down and thought someone like bonk wasn’t so ban hungry to go ahead and kick me for having faint music in the background. I could barely even here my music at points. But no bonk is to much of a wuss to handle that so I was kicked. I literally thought he was trolling when I got back on but he wasn’t. Of course it was unnecessary the 2nd time so I argued my case for all of 3 min and so for arguing with a irrelevant bitch of a mod and with no warning I was banned for 24 hours for arguing with a mod and it was 24 hours because earlier Danny as a meme told me he was gonna ban me for micspamming again. That threat happened for a totally different argument too. Hopefully this makes it easier for people who were not there to know what happened.

Apparently i'm not aloud to have quiet music in the background while I talk because I was banned for it. What happened is I was initially kicked for having faint music in the background. Me knowing better that i'm very much aloud to have music in the background as long as its not mic spamming or extremely obnoxious, I got back on and fought my case for about 2 min or so before I got so heated that I straight up told bonk, "I'm playing music that you can't hear ban me." So then I got banned for 24 hours. Although I don't have evidence you can ask bonk and he will agree with the story but of course just not exactly as i'm sure we both have are own opinions of what happened.

You know you just described loop-holing right? You know that is what that is called right? When someone calls some a 'tigger', them saying that they used a t instead of an n is not a valid defense. Especially if the context shows that it was meant to be loop-holing. Also, if a staff member (really anyone) tells you they do not want to be called something they find offensive, it is generally in your best interest to stop. 

At any rate, while I do trust Seg's opinion, I have not played with you at all so I will remain neutral. I do suggest however, that you seek to improve how others see you. Just try to be more respectful and don't antagonize others in the servers.

Kiro has done stupid things, but isn't inherently a bad guy. He's been a good friend to me and others. He is a human. He has his flaws. He is discriminatory towards certain people, but we all are to some extent. He opinions shouldn't prevent him from being a member, and just as you might feel uncomfortable around him, he may feel the same about you. Kiro is surprisingly open minded if you connect with him on a more personal level (uncommon opinion, I know). I have come to respect Kiro to an extent for how he refuses to collapse or give in. He stands proud with an unpopular opinion and isn't afraid to have others mock him for it, which is something we can all learn from. Do I agree with his opinions? No, I find it hard to believe that someone who supposedly has so much hatred for others to in reality be so deeply passionate and caring. If he is nurtured the right way he may just come to see others that he once thought of as lower as equals instead.
Also that whole nickname thing. Segger sounds nothing like the N word. Snigger sounds like the N word. Nippers sounds like the N word. Niger, Bigger, Jigger, Wiggler all sound like the N word. Segger is only used to provoke @SegFault because he thinks it's somehow too similar to the N word when it really isn't.

Anything that isn't Razer. If you haven't seen my many posts in general on Discord, the grips on my DeathAdder Elite fell off after seven months. Absolutely unacceptable for how big a company it is.
Very low-quality products are Razer's specialty I guess. Incredibly disappointed, looking to get the Logitech g502 at some point in the near future along with a nice keyboard, but I don't want to spend all of my money immediately.

My condolences to you and everyone else who had to experience that horror.

sad to see you go, but if you have problems with any staff (read: not just TF2) you should be either talking directly to a higher up, or, if you have proof, making an abuse thread under the Report Abuse section of the forums.

Just to get the bias out of the way, i have never made a staff app before and all my promotions have been due to being good friends with higher ups and (hopefully) for being a good staff member.
To add onto what @LeToucan said, there is almost no way we'll be getting rid of silent promotions entirely as it easily helps us regulate the amount of staff we feel like we need at the moment (high pop times during summers usually see a bunch of promotions, even if we usually never have the expectation of them sticking around for a longer period of time).
If people believe there is some sort of conspiracy around us higher ups to only promote our friends and thats the reason we need to disallow silent promotions, we really need to take a look at what we can do to regain that trust.
 
Abuse reports is actually something i was talking to @Tatost about yesterday on discord, and id just like to drop some pointers regarding those real quick.
An abuse report can be made at any time for any reason, as long as you believe you have been unfairly treated. HOWEVER, just because you make an abuse report does not mean that the staff member in question will be demoted. For example, the situation yesterday was pretty minor in the grand scheme of things and it would very likely not have ended up in any punishment past a warning (if tatost was in the right) but i still encouraged him to make an abuse report because it sets an example and gives us as higher ups the heads up that "hey, someone is unhappy with this person, we should keep an eye on them".
 
You guys have the potential to do a lot of things and its up to you guys to hold the higher-ups accountable for their decisions but that requires you guys to actively raise your voice when we do something bad. That said, i also believe that you should place some trust in the higher ups, we all want the community to be the very very best but we cant please everyone and sometimes we do get things wrong. If there are any doubts around that its something we need to work on and adress as soon as we can.

Since so many threads have been made urging the higher-ups to remove random crits, could we not take a test run for a week or so? It wouldn't hurt anyone to at least test the idea before actually putting it in use. It seems like people think that removing random crits turns the server 100% competitive, which is most definitely not the case. It's the same old trade server with a couple of people there just to have fun and stomp some kiddies. I highly doubt that people will actually miss critical hits on melee, since no one pulls them out unless they're going for a triple jump using the Atomizer, or baiting some idiot in with the Ubersaw.
