I'm neutral for now. Logic is a nice guy, but it's been a while since I've played with him.
 
On the topic of the weed thing, however... I don't care if a person smokes weed, drinks, or snorts chocolate powder in their free time, just don't do it on the servers. We've had several past staff members who would get wasted while on the servers, I personally don't approve of it, but I'm not their dad.
 
Like @Kypari said, it could make the community look kinda bad, but I feel that goes for anything that can alter a person's judgement. I personally wouldn't want to play on a server where a staff member is bragging that they can't see straight because they're so drunk/can't see their monitor past all the weed smoke/are currently "cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs".

To do quick checks of someone with a sign or decal applicable item.
 
Do a steam report by pressing F7 and choose the players name, reason for report : Item Decal. You can scroll through all equipped decals the player has. If you find something then let them know to change it.

I've never really been at any staff position in very populated/populous servers, to be honest. I really only have powers on one of my friend's servers which is password-protected at the moment.. There even used to be people that would come on the tr_walkway server to talk and have fun with a few gimmicks that the staff, including me, have been doing on the server. Donated:

Ah, I love the xG servers.. That's one of the reasons why I'm applying as a moderator! Everyone says that.. So I've been playing on the surf server for a reasonable amount of time; maybe around four months. It's great to meet all the amazing players that we have joining and enjoying playing on them. Also, I enforce the rules a lot on here to prevent any disturbances. If I ever see any sign of incompliance among one or multiple people, then I'll resort to calling any of the staff in order to have it dealt with. Although I've never been staff on servers of huge communities, I think I could create a fresh, new start and pace myself to take responsibility of keeping things the way they should be instead of having them out of order, possibly leading to temporary chaos.. ..or something.

Yep. This is a (probably small) arena map in the desert. This could probably be used in the VSH server.

Deathrun:

Teamswitching is completely disabled. When you join the server, it will automatically assign you to red or blu[e]. Now if you join blu, there's no need to worry, as the deathrun plugin will automatically switch you to red once the current round is over (unless you're death obviously).

This way, nobody can join spectators either, however, we found a small solution for that.
There's a plugin that lets you go into spectator by typing a very simple command:
/ts [name] [team]
Teams: 1 = spectator, 2 = red, 3 = blue.
For instance, if I wanted to join spectator, I'd type /ts bello 1. And once I'm done spectating, I'd type /ts bello 2. Simple as that!

Is there really that much to discuss here? While screenshots can provide context, by no means should they alone be substantiated enough to warrant a permanent ban for hacking, especially when the screenshots aren't even that credible provided the following facts:

It's common to camp a corner
Audio cues from behind the wall
Tendency for a Player to be behind said-wall
Facing the direction that the user will be shooting

I'm sorry, but screenshots of someone facing a wall when it just so happens that someone is behind it does not equate to a permanent ban for wall-hacking. With that said, while not relevant, the accused even has 1,811 hours recorded for TF2 on top of 382/520 achievements which is something to consider; anyone hacking could just as easily create a new Steam account and play TF2 as it is F2P without worrying about their main account facing any sort of ban/suspension.
 
Now I'm not saying that the Moderator wrongly accused the Player, nor am I saying that the Player 100% did not hack. All I'm saying is that there just is not enough given here to warrant a permanent ban for hacking, which is why I'm going to +1 for an unban.
 
TL;DR - Players should be treated as innocent until proven guilty; not the other way around. Evidence is not clear enough to warrant a permanent ban for hacking.

So just to talk to all of these guys that have -1'd.
First of all I feel like all of you have just disregarded my last post saying that @Tatost has tried to say sorry to @Vargas 5 times but vargas has disregarded him each and every time.
Also most of you haven't seen Tatost since hes been demoted because he hasn't played on the servers you play on, I have seen him on DR and Pokemon multitudes of times.
I know that you guys haven't seen him but he has explained to me that he
1: Understands what he did was wrong and is very sorry for it considering he has tried to say sorry to Vargas 5 times.
2: Swears he wont do it again.
Two of you that have -1'd are saying that he is still immature, Tatost literally told me that he has not seen you both since the incident. ???
I'm not trying to say that the -1's are not justified, tat still has stuff to work on, but you are giving false reasons as well.

I am yellowrock, I play too much TF2, mainly surfing. I have collaborated in the creation of 2 maps, surf_quack and surf_crater, with Kraex, and we're currently working on our third map. I'm looking for a good community for combat surf and figured I'd give xG a try. I was previously a regular on OPST, and was an admin on their surf server, but left due to disagreements with how things were managed over there. I am passionate about surfing, and always happy to help people new to the gamemode learn to play.
