I hate seeing people get off with permanent bans because why perm them if they will get off due to the protest forms. They should be not able to make a ban protest if it is permanent for at least 6 months in my opinion. What do you guys think.

so hub has created a lot of problems with projectiles, and the server has to be restarted frequently (every 30 mins- 1 hour) to solve the problem. right now the default map is Hyrule, which is a cool map, but its still in alpha so there are several bugs, and sprays don't work on any texture on the map. we have to wait ten minutes to switch maps, and with people having such a boner right now for hyrule the map is rarely switched before thirty. this makes still being on the map when the server restarts a fairly common occurence, therefore forcing us to wait another ten minutes to switch from a buggy alpha map. it's a nice map but we cant do everything there that we can on other maps, the map should stay but it shouldn't be the default. or we could try and retool the rtv wait time to make switching away a lot easier. when we restart the server as frequently as we do with these issues, the default map gets played far more than anything else, and when the default map is still in alpha it can get irritating. the restarts are sadly necessary right now but we can definitely try things out so that they arent as bad on the people playing. ive already seen quite a few people coming back less and less or not at all because they just dont want to play hyrule. we dont mind playing the same map all day, but if we do the map should be complete. because right now the restarts are a HUGE damper on fun. inb4 no fun allowed

i was born into a family that started on the atari, and also played sega genesis, nes, snes. pretty much every good game from back then and some of the shitter games, i played.

Well there are cases in which the permanent bans are falsely given by our lovely staff in which they should protest, but 8/10 threads are just people wanting to get unbanned for no good reasons. "I'm sorry, plz unban. kthxbye."

Also the only time they even try to rally and vote for something it's to change the map to get rid of the current guards or to vote kick someone

We try that but the people 12 year olds don't let us do that

A portion of people will be unhappy no matter what the default map is. I think the mario map is ok

See whatever the default map is someone is always gonna say its overplayed. So it doesnt really matter what the default map is unless its one of teh css jb maps that doesnt work for tf2.

It applies to all xG servers but i am in the tf2 division so that is why i made it seem like it is primarily for tf2

I feel like this applies to CS:S too so I'm gonna tag some CS:S staff. @Legend @DrLee @Cristo @Hidingmaster @MrSaturday @ForestFire @Haxx @Hexx @xGShadowSpy @Bleed ------------------------------------------------------ IMO I think they shouldn't be given 6 months but 9 to learn the rules to be able to protest because that gives them PLENTY of time to learn the rules and most of the time after people are un-permed they come back into the server and break another rule and end up getting banned again. All because they didn't take the time to learn the rules.

IDK, this one is hard to remember for me. He gets 3 people within a span of 50 seconds and one more 2 minutes later. Again, I clearly remember running away trying to rebel, thus why I suggested the kills were justified. Had he freekilled more than 3 I would have banned him right then and there but I saw nothing done wrong at that moment. Unless we get more people to come forward (which won't help since we need visual proof from them), I say let this one go and move on since there isn't enough evidence. @kbraszzz your thoughts on this?

I had some thought recently. there are a lot of Maps related to games from the past. i thought it could be possible to have a map related to the TF2 Mapping History. Mario Kart may count, so I'm suggesting maybe, Just Maybe, we can add a Non-Objective Cyber Punk. Its Optional and only a Suggestion, so I'm just saying, not ordering. If its Yes, alright! Geeze, too many mods, i have been on the teamspeak once and most of the mods i know where on it. Like some xG's i would love to become mod. Just because some mods are not as active as others does not mean that there are too many. If this is a strat to become mod then just submit a form instead of being worried about there being to many.
