And to do that, you have to stop both, if you hold one back then the other is just gonna jump on the chained person. This idea has held true on the forums as well in many a situation before; when 2 individuals or parties are fighting an aggressive "shitstorm" I have always lived under the philosophy of either they both get banned equally, or neither gets banned and they apologize to each other and A) ignore each other or B) learn to play nice. It's a pretty sound strategy, because if they get into heated arguments like that, they are either people you really don't want around, because of their negative "toxic" attitudes. Now you may be saying "but Asock (rabid) is le epic troller." or "kypari is only offending this time" but you're only partly right, on both. Rabid has toned down. If anyone had seen the shit he used to do on the daily back in the old days, you would never want to be here. It also is not kypari's first offense. He also isn't the victim in this case; neither is Tekage. However there is a reason tekage isn't who this is about. That's because he handled this in a semi-respectable manner, didn't talk too much shit, and also didn't try to start the shit with rabid in the first place. Now you tell me. Is someone with this attitude worthy of being a staff member? Let alone even a member? Why isn't he banned for the same bming rabid was giving off? Popcorn and shit is welcome, but keep it to your self. I will personally be monitoring this thread to clean it of shit, don't think you will get away with anything.

Maybe I'm too old for this place, but what do you mean by chummy? You want the truth. People are gonna be against banning certain older members because.. Theyve been here a long time. Brian was a big deal a few years back, its like saying let's ban forest for something. (Essentially banning a well known and popular friend). There are pockets of major biasness in the clan, nobody can deny it. What do I think personally should happen? 1) Rabid banned. Which he is permed right now, but I do feel bad for doing it meaning it could be changed since I'm getting pressured by other people to get it lessened. 2) Kypari gets a warning since he has never been a problem before. 3) Brian gets a week ban, plus a final warning since it has happened before. Just my 2 cents, but it'll come down to who has more friends. I promise I'm not trying to be passive aggressive or rude about it, but from my long experience here that's how most stuff goes down.

In this situation to me it feels like you are being extremely bias. You simply dismissed Brian's over the top bm and OBVIOUS RACISM as something to just shrug off your shoulders but are claiming that Kypari needs to be convicted of a ban in a situation where his bm was not at all as severe as Rabid or Brian. You KNOW this. Additionally, Kypari and Tekage WERE the victims because this all started because of Brian's racism thread aka "British Humor Thread". You also KNOW that no conflict would ever have happened if Rabid and Brian didn't begin with their instigation on Kypari and Tekage. Now, mind you, I don't really like their personalities and am not really friends with them, but its clear to me that you are being biased because you are chummy with Rabid and don't like young kids in xG. @diabeetus @DrLee @ThePenguin @CommunityLeaders ( @Forest )

We all know rabid can go to far, so hopefully its clear why he was banned. Still uncertain whether it will stay a perm for him. On the other hand, yes chrono if one party is banned the other should be as well if they committed the same wrongs. I don't see a need for any removal of power (not yet at least), although I can see a minor forum ban.

I would say -1 for a demotion on xG servers since this is in an abuse thread But.....+1 for either a warning being issued or a short forum ban

I say just warn kypari about his actions. Rabid and Kypari were equally wrong in that entire thread. Kypari could not handle himself and looks to me like he tried to get a rise out of Rabid. Rabid was on his last warning though and could have been the better man and ignored him but he insulted back. Also it does not excuse his actions on insulting tekage who controlled himself afterwords.

Our community has been around for many years and pride ourselves on offering unbiased, critical discussion among people of all different backgrounds. We are working every day to make sure our community is one of the best. Should the about us be changed at the bottom then?

People take things in different ways and it is not just because they are less mature or "need to grow up" Also, kypari is a good moderator and has not abused his power once. He brings and in my opinion kept a lot of regulars from leaving. He is friendly to them and enforces the rules very effectively. Yes he lashes out at times but does not mean he should be demoted for it. This is a forum situation not a server one. Plus if someone you truly hate with a passion makes a post negatively about you you would probably do the same thing.

Kypari is one of the best TF2 Moderators I've seen. Plus, he's pretty much the only one on during the morning in the UK and so demoting him would mean rule breakers then. Therefore, reducing the population. Demoting Kypari would be a very bad decision. However, a forum ban, I agree with.

He posted the thread, but he didn't assist in any of the posting on it(unless he has one of the fake accounts, but there's no proof on that)

Okay, here's my two cents. (Or 2 pence if you're British) Kypari, clearly, acted in a manner which was unaccetpable. I agree with that. However, when I'm on servers, Kypari is a great moderator. He keeps the servers under control and has befriended MANY of the regulars. He's a lot easier to get along with in-game. To be honest it kinda seems like people bully him on the forums, so h fights back. Not saying that is acceptable in any form, but Kypari only reacts with a simple quote "An eye for an eye". +1 for warning/forum ban (Not perm) -1 for demotion (I don't really care if I can't do that, but that's my opinion.)

Division: Forum In-Game Name: Asock Offender's Steam ID: Irrelevant Rules Broken: Harassment, bullying, trolling Evidence: So, I've decided to make a ban request on Asock (as if that isn't obvious already). Why? Because ever since I joined this clan, he just lurked the forums and trolled. This resulted in: Shitstorms, harrassment and just plain trolling. This would be a great clan without him, in my opinion. Many would agree. Recently, in the Criticism Thread, Asock verbally assaulted me and @Kypari. Telling us to kill ourselves, picking out small mistakes and using it against us, insulting us and more. He has been in trouble several times before. What would happen if he were banned? xG would be a perfect community with happier people. I personally believe that this is unacceptable and behaviour like this has been coming from him for too long. There has been many shitstorms or events where similar actions have occurred from him. And before you say something like: "The Criticism Thread was made so everyone could insult each other, grow the fuck up", remember a key quote that @Forest said:

I had an idea a few days ago on how to populate rotation: I used to go on a server (No names mentioned) and every now and then (every ten minutes or so), an automatic message would pop up in chat saying things like "Join our forums here: (web link here). This should happen but say "Join rotation by typing into the chat !servers and clicking on Rotation!" Also, like the message at the top of a screen when you get 5 kills in one life, that could say something like "Join Rotation by typing in !servers and clicking on Rotation!" If that happened, I think more people would become aware of rotation and that it wouldn't just have about 3 players on each team. #populaterotation

again, when there are 2 sides equally in the wrong, I have always believed in fair punishment under the rules. aka. either you both get banned or neither gets banned. besides that, this is still a report abuse. your consistent negative attitude, quick to jump to insulting people for disagreeing with you, and general immaturity compared to even your brother lead me to believe you are not worthy of a staff position, and the powers it holds.

+1 Kypari has changed a lot recently. Honestly, All he had to do was just ignore Rabid with the comments they made; they could have been worse. I kinda see this kinda like Kitty's situation again. Retaliation and blaming the other party for their actions when this problem could have been avoided in a mature manner, or contact the CL's privately if it bothered him that much. Lets just hope he's not a 13 year old bikini model too. :(

just because he is the only staff member on at a time to deal with potential rule breakers doesn't make him a good staff member. nor does not having staff reduce population. simply find another staff member that plays those times, or for the good of the servers, someone can step up and play even when they want to watch their morning cartoons to regulate. all else fails, your players seem to not know about the forums, they could make ban requests etc. and not be scared the leaders will ban them :wink: i honestly hope you grow up one day. you're an immature kid, you take anything and everything as the most hateful speech possible to you, instead of ignoring a joke post in a thread by someone. notice how nobody except you took his response serious?
