I loved the idea but it's not actually as good as I thought.

We have had it for a while now though so I'm not sure if reverting it back to the old system is a good idea.

Well the fact is that wearing the tag is showing that you represent us and that you're a part of the community, and I'm hating that more and more members/staff simply don't wear their tags and want to be a part of the community. We aren't that casual.

I'm not enjoying people using the chat prefixes in replacement of having the xG tag in their name. When you join a community, you should be representing them with your name and all and I don't like that it's being accepted to use a chat prefix in replacement of the xG tag in your name.

Honestly this is something I don't want to budge on since people ain't representing the fam yo.

At the end of the day, he didn't really do anything serious enough to get banned. He didn't target anyone specific and it wasn't a personal attack against anyone (no idea about the context of the whole situation but still). Honestly the ban should just be removed and we move on from this since I don't like the idea of people banning others simply for poking fun at xG. It makes us look like a community that wants to censor people which we shouldn't ever become.

Most of us understand you put a lot of effort into it, but in its current state it just floods chat. It still has some bugs to be worked out. I don't even mind the whole free item bit. I can just see it being an issue of afk farming and regulating item names and whatnot. On top of that imo most people are going to use it as a glorified garbage bin for their junk. It does affect players by having to talk over the servers normal spam and now this bot. Specially since staff have to give an in chat warning which will be buried atm. We appreciate the thought but like I said it needed more time before being released.

It ignores AFK people and you can't participate in the giveaway for one hour after winning so farming shouldn't be an issue but I can always make it more strict.

You are missing the point here. You are complaining about not making a profit off a donation bot. You are honestly sounding like an asshole. People gave these items to be gifted and you are calling them "dogshit" and "worthless"

Plus, once again, the more players linked = higher tier items. Cheap items do not have to be an absolute.

I believe adding an opt-out feature is what we were discussing earlier, or to have it auto opt-out and you can opt-in if you'd like. One or the other.

The code is there currently for disabling the sounds and I'm gonna add another option for messages (except final one) and one option for complete opt out where you won't be chosen or bothered.

If you want to get down to it, the point of the bot is to encourage users to get on the forum. The free stuff is just a bonus.

You know the bot does need work, but it's honestly hurtful people saying to scrap it all together. As it was coded, it gives out better items the more linked players are on and if you think I should just wait until more players are on so I can feel justified doing a giveaway for items that some people want, I'm ok with that. I could even code in something where it asks you if you rather get credits instead of the item upon winning and you can choose from there. But I honestly don't understand why people are against something that does not really change any aspect of the game.

Um...I don't think you know what you're talking about, no offense. Nearly every single person I'm in a discord with is against it. That's at least 15 people, and that doesn't include the masses of people I meet on the server that's against it.

I will disable low price items from being donated so non-crate items will be given away. Maybe have the starting tier be at a minimum of $0.60?

Things such as the creeper morph explosion does no player damage and I have disabled and configured anything which could give advantages but still thinking on bat morph due to its flapping being a very slow and limited flying and drugged horse which feels like it moves faster than normal horses which could be an advantage. I will disable these if they prove too much advantage for donators over none donators but will include them for now.

Alright sounds good, how should we implement the donation system?

This is just a thread to point on opinion on the new bhop plug in thats in every server now. Now the bhop plugin is different than the one we have in surf as in which can't continuously bhop and gain momentum, but still have the bhop for like 3-4 jumps. It was first in Surf, but now it's in every server. In my opinion I really don't like it especially in FF2 and Pokemon trade. In Pokemon the bhop doesn't really effect that much, but in its so annoying to see sniper bhop away when I launch them and try to hit them with my rollers. Also the Bhopping pyro. god just go away... ;w; Now in FF2 added theres a problem becuase I abused this bhop in a way so that I would just go in high cliffs or buildings, and when hale rages, I would bhop away as a freaken heavy. Not cool man making it harder for hale to catch people now. Idk this is my opinion and I would like to hear your guy's and gal's opinion. Keep it or Remove it? (Should have given us a vote before adding in the plug in tbh)

Couldn't someone just go in hammer and fix this problem instantly? We don't need to remove the map just for this one thing because we have the tools to change it. Unless people are -1ing for the art to stay I see no reason for this change.

Yeah I would prefer this so we don't have to remove the map completely. I could do it if nobody else wants to.
