  1. Okay, so besides the fact that this is some of the worst formatting I have ever seen, your story is false. I was watching you as you went into armory, and just sat there looking at where a T would come from.

You have been CT banned multiple times, and never seem to learn your lesson. Also, as far as telling you good luck, I meant it, since you have no case whatsoever.

First of all you entered armory chasing a rebel then instead of going into vents to follow him you sat in armory for a solid minute and waited for him to hopefully come back?!?!?

I admire your determination to be here. A fresh start is always nice, but here's a few helpful tips, just so old mistakes aren't repeated:

    1) Don't Spam Forum Posts

This was instantly a red flag to us all and became very irritating very quickly. Think about what you post before you post it, think:

    - Is it necessary?

    - Is it a post that people would enjoy or could discuss about?

    - Am I better off just making a discord post about this?

Always think about those three questions before posting a thread. Which leads onto my next suggestion...

    2) Think Before You Say Something

Sometimes, what people say can really cause a negative impact. If someone says something negative towards you, contact a higherup and tell them that you don't like what they're doing. THEY WILL ACT ON IT.

If someone is being rude, it's always a better option to alert a higher member of staff.

If you insist on saying something, make sure you think about whether it will further cause a negative reaction or not. The main thing trolls want from you is a reaction. Always remember that.

    3) Doing Controversial Actions

Doing controversial actions may lead to huge backlash. One of which is when you left with a storm to become admin on a different server, then come back a week later and expect us all to open with welcome arms. Stuff like this is what will give you a bad name in the community and sometimes they can be extremely difficult to escape. But lest we forget that there have been people who have made it very far here despite being previously permenantly banned.

    TL;DR:

Welcome back, nice to see a fresh start, helpful advice is to think before you act because actions can result in serious backlash.

    This. All of this.

Honestly while it was an annoyance there have been people banned for much worse and have returned. Just make sure that if you plan on sticking around, do not get upset if it takes people a little while to get over your outburst. Personally I do not mind you coming back, especially if you really are trying to better yourself. All I ask is that you please learn from the mistakes you made and try not to repeat them.

Anyway, hopefully you can enjoy yourself on the servers and forum again. Welcome back!

  3. Kn1ght, buddy. Fighting toxicity with toxicity is not the way.

They will also constantly freekill me then tell me im wrong.

Record it and give it to staff. If it is happening to a point of frustration then that is really the only option. If it is severe enough to warrant it, than go make a post in ban request.

This needs to stop and we need to team up against them.

Yikes. Look, as someone who played xG JB back in 2011 (when I was a wee squeaker myself), I can tell you that while the memes change, the squeakers stay the same. It is going to be a constant, and they are also a considerable size of the server population, so unless you prefer empty servers to some squeakers then you will need to get over it. Severe toxicity and harassing players is something punishable, but having a younger voice is not. Just have to tolerate it.

  4. The only real issue I have noticed with this, is if a CT participates in a map game that has a tele at the end, the CT and T that teleport will be stuck because of collisions. Nothing too crazy considering most CTs that participate in that sort of stuff are basically submitting themselves to death anyway. It mostly becomes an issue when multiple Ts tele with one CT,  the knife will not actually hit the CT because they are also stuck in a teammate. At that point the only fix is for the CT to slay or staff to start using teleport commands.

  5. If a cell vent is broken at the beginning of the round, obviously a T knifed the vent so you are free to pursue. That being said, you need to see them actively breaking it in order to kill them if they are not already in the vent. Even if there is only one of them.

Why aren't you watching them climb? Also the finish and normal exit are usually separated.

In agreement that you should be watching them. I assume you are talking about a map like moonjail where someone can get to the finish tele exit via the normal exit. In that case, if you did not see them and are skeptical, I would make them start over again. Then just make sure you are watching the exit this time.

A good rule of thumb for a lot of cases, if you or another guard did not see it happen, do not shoot. If you do, you are taking a gamble that you will be freekilling.

  7. Perhaps it would be a bit more helpful, especially in this case, to tell him what he needs to improve on? If this is not just a meme app, anyway.

At any rate, here is a more productive reply than I originally gave:

On the note of toxicity, you leave a lot to be desired. You tend to harass and mock other players to a frustrating degree. Tone that down, no one enjoys it and it makes you look like an ass. On the note of warden spamming, the few times you do get CT you do it pretty consistently. Just calm down, let others take warden on occasion and no one will mind. Of course, a bigger issue I have is that I think you really need to read up more on the rules, and perhaps avoid playing CT altogether until you feel you are more confident in your ability to follow said rules. The arguing with staff is pretty obvious, just do not do it. What they say is the law of the land, and if you really have issue or believe they are incorrect you can report it to a higher up or preferably here on the forums.

So if you are actually interested in being a bigger part of the community and joining the clan, then there is my feedback. I am still remaining at a resounding -1 until all of these issues are corrected, but figured it would not hurt to give something a bit more productive.

I understand that but if lets say a bad guard like for example pistachio says there kos for a tarp before 7 then someone who is a good guard for example lot_of_mos should know this and not kill the guy.

Then that guard should correct them. Guards are there to assist the warden, and while the warden should know rules and keep up with their Ts that can get a little difficult when you have a lot of them.

Besides, what is being discussed here is whether the warden or the guard should be punished for actually killing a T that had a false KOS put on them. Personally I think the warden should absolutely be slain if a T is killed for a wrongful KOS order, but guards should be paying attention and if they are not positive on an order they should ask for clarification. A lot of times that can clear things up before a freekill can happen.

  9. -1 Hot garbage, spams warden, toxic as hell, no chance he is 13, and argues with staff. Just to top it off this member submission is just a meme because someone said 'the day mouse gets member is the day I stop playing xg'. If that is not proof enough than the other three (or more if he has continued to spam after posting this) member subs he made should suffice.

I personally don't care that he sounds like a six year old that just is perpetually stubbing his toe and screaming into the mic, but hopefully everything up there is enough.

  10. Okay, @MJP, let me try this again and address everything you said.

My point is people were provoking him a lot and then proceeded to act suprised he was pissed.

He did not have a right to be pissed, he messed up and had to deal with the consequences of that. I am pretty much repeating myself at this point so I will not go into more detail. See previous post.

Honestly If I were him I would have acted in a different manner but it would not have been good for anyone.

I do not understand the point you are trying to make with this sentence. From what I am gathering you are essentially saying that if you had been called out for doing something stupid your reaction "would not have been good for anyone"? I will assume that was just poor word choice and ignore it.

It’s a gaming community, that’s nothing to someone’s life and if it is I feel sorry that you have to shit on someone online for micspamming or doing something weird in game. Even spamming forums is whatever.

Right. The whole "Get a life" retort. Original. Just to clear something up, there were very few people who took a 'shit' on him for his behavior, even then I would simply call those responses unproductive at worst. Unless you call pointing out and asking for the behavior to stop 'taking a shit on them'. Very few people were outright ugly to him until he started acting like a brat. I do not condone it, but seriously. Also, spamming forums is not just 'whatever', it is a rule, and it is there so people do not create topics and posts that have no substance to them just to obtain a position of power. It exists for a good reason, as it is a good indication of the patience and maturity of the offender if they break it.

    52 minutes ago, MJP said:

Just downvote the member app with legitimate reasons or downvote the staff app, not make a post about him acting immature when five others were made

Here is the biggest problem I have. While from your perspective it may appear as if we were dog piling, in reality it looks that way because the people that all posted something similar agreed with one another. Even then, most posts had some original take, and suggestions on how he could have improved. It is possible to provide constructive criticism you know?

Just to close out here, I want to state for the record that I do not hate @DepressedNeonNepp. He is just a kid who has problems with making rash and short-sighted decisions. I think most of us fall under that statement. However, what I do hate is defending and/or giving that behavior a pass. That goes hand in hand with shooting down criticism because it does not seem nice.

That is all, I am done with this, it was a messy affair from start to finish. Frankly I do not think this is the best avenue to continue such a discussion, partly because it is a rather ironic topic, but more importantly I have said all I feel needs to be said. If for some reason you still have more you want to say, I am in discord and you can PM me to your heart's content.

  11. 9 minutes ago, MJP said:

I mean no you guys really didn’t do shit except barrage the kid for feeling like shit in a community.

@DepressedNeonNepp learn from the fact that it’s just a server you play on, no point in getting upset about people who care too much or think there is a “level of maturity in a community” . The maturity you show now will gradually improve or it won’t but either way it doesn’t matter

The issue we had was that he did not learn from his mistake, like at all. He quite literally repeated the same thing when reapplying for member. Let me put it like this:

    1. Applies for something (member in this case)

    2. Makes a mistake (in this case it was reapplying too early after his childish forum tantrum.)

    3. Get's upset and believes himself to be the victim.

    4. Get's called out for what he did wrong, almost all the time in a pretty respectable and productive manner.

    5. Throws another fit because he can not get what he wants.

    6. Leaves in a ridiculous manner.

Now I realize two times does not exactly establish a trend, but it was like watching the remake of a shitty movie. I don't mind you making the argument that some people were rude and their input was not exactly productive, but that does not seem to be the point you are making. So let me emphasize this.

He brought all of this onto himself and learned nothing from it.

That is my take on this, and frankly I hope this is the end to this sad, salty story.

  12. Going to remain neutral, as I have not seen how you behave in game. However, from what I saw on the forums I think you need a push in maturity. The way you acted after spamming posts, as well as the toxicity that you created when things did not go your way are far from ideal. You resigned your membership on a very impulse and immature decision.

That being said, it is not like you are a horrible person either. You had a temper tantrum and unfortunately it was a very public and messy one.  I am all for second chances, and remember that trust is something difficult to gain but easy to lose. Regaining trust can be even more difficult after it is lost, so even if you do not regain member, just play on the servers, have fun, and be respectful. The same goes for forum posts.

    Good luck.
