If you haven't been listening to the past few messages I said the bad ones can be removed. Like crits can probably be replaced maybe I dont know mini-crits? Theres also the timer which is something you haven't talked about either because if you were worried about abuse there you go it can now be slowed down. Now you SHOULD KNOW YOU CAN REMOVE THE BAD ONES there can't be that much abuse with it since the ones you can abuse are gone. You also forgot some like god-mode and infinite ammo but THEY CAN ALWAYS BE REMOVED. This sort of stuff can all be modified so it isn't that big of a deal. Another thing is that there are a lot of regulars to tag so I'm not sure if I'm going to tag all of them right now lmao.

Again new players who join surf most of the time try doing !rtd and it's 1: really annoying repeating it all day and 2: It's hard for me to say that !rtd doesn't exist because it makes me feel like they're going to leave the server because of this. Try re-reading my request because (no offense in this) you seemed to have skipped over some details I said. Plus I'm pretty sure just because people from *other servers* dont like !rtd doesn't mean that people will hate it on surf. We could try seeing how !rtd would work with the server and how regulars and new comers feel about it.

Alright, so tell us what you want then for the powers then? There are multiple rtds that would break the rules in that server, i'll name a few, instant sentry, toxic, instant dispense, noclip, timebomb, homing projectiles, crits. all of these can be abused to holy hell on the current surf server rules. That would mean that the only ones you would really have are mostly negative and nobody likes the negative rolls. Also, i really doubt that people are going to leave just because there's not RTD, especially with our rules where they can be punished and the amount of call admins admins would have to answer would increase. Also, i never said they would hate it, all i said that at times people have complained about it on the trade servers however the plugin is more fit for it there.

Also, try tagging some surf players if they have a forum account.

Like I said we could make adjustments to remove those. Everything else can't really interrupt people from surfing.

You mean have rolls like Toxic and noclip which encourage spawn camping which is against the rules? Nah, rtd is not a good plugin for surf. People who are playing surf are already enjoying it.

I talked to him and i can see he likes xG a lot and the community. However, these -1 are valid and you should take it to heart septik. You seem like a nice guy but if you are arguing it won't work. Also your reception to other -1 isn't very good. it's their opinions and you might as well just let it go, it's a sign of maturity that even if people -1 you that you aren't phased. We know you like xG and from the times i have seen you, you were a nice guy. I don't see you all the time so i'm not going to vouch but i just want you to know, that you shouldn't give up. just recognize the mistakes you made, perhaps apologize if you need to, and that will make you look great. Policemen get paid because it's their job, my point was that this is a fairly bad comparison because we do this voluntarily. Therefore stopping what you're currently doing just to get on and see that no admin is needed there is pretty frustrating. You get what I mean?

I've created a discussion with Rhodo a little while ago, like he asked, and nothing ever came of it. I explained why the server was heading in a bad direction and how Vertex was ignoring all admins and players on the server, not working with us, and basically telling us "it's my way or the highway" despite the fact I've been helping him with the server since it was launched.

If that doesn't work then it's best to contact the Community leaders and make a thread on the forums concerning it. You can contact @Aegean @Nomulous @Bleed. However i guess we can just use this thread.

Only thing I agree with, these people don't know anything about GMOD/Morbus and don't really care either, which is fine, just makes me wonder why we're part of this clan in the first place.

Virr and I aren't critizing the Gmod divison. We are just saying that we want to try and get our populated divisions to play on gmod servers. I don't see how this could be interpereted in any other way. Why wouldn't we care about a division regardless of whether or not we play in it? We are all xG members and we want to help out in anyway we can and it's been on the other divisions for not taking interest but at the same time if you guys can make your concerns known on the forums and give evidence of problems then i don't see how other xG members can not give input.

Then why don't you actually do something about it and make a thread? The problem with the gmod division is that you guys have a hard time communicating and have little to no inactivity on the forums so we, the other xg members of other divisions can see what is going on. I've never heard any complaints about stickz in the 5 years I have been here and the few conversations I have with him about servers are very informative. So if you have any evidence to back up your claim then by all means tell us and show us but until then we will take his word and the fact you see to have some problems at first glance. Ithe only reinforces my theory. I don't mean to sound rude or that I'm scolding you, it's only a suggestion in how you could improve the division as a whole and perhaps get other members of xg to take some interest.

This isn't meant to be bashing the gmod division or anything I just really want other xg members to take part in said division. Servers ran by stickz (nuclear dawn and gmod now) always seem mysterious to our other divisions and in tf2 we have conversations about it. Nothing bad really it's just that if we all took an effort in recognizing another whole divison then perhaps there can be some transparency. I'm gonna ask some tf2 players if they would be interested. Gmod when it was ran by charrax, house and skitzo, (regardless of the fact it died when each of those 3 had it) each attracted other members in the xg community including the then CSS community. And we had some fun playing darkrp (not suggesting to bring back darkRp).

I know this might sound silly or unnecessary but Gringo's comment made me think and I thank him for that. Im gonna try playing some gmod and see the situation first hand and I encourage others to join in.

Steam isn't going to do anything you must create a steam rep report which would essentially stop his trading all together. Please provide us with this information. This is to make sure he doesn't scam anyone else and punish him. Steam isn't the one who marks people but it's steam rep who does. We also want to gather information and evidence so said report can be valid. If you could also provide chat logs. That would be super.

Edit: I shouldn't say steam would do nothing, if there is a very large scam and you provide ample amount of proof against the offender then I believe there is a chance the offender can be trade banned but its chance is unlikely.

I am in deep deep sh*t. on new years eve at around 10:30ish I had this guy add me and said he wanted to buy my Australium Professional killstreak Scattergun and my Unusual Thirst Blood effect Haunted Ghosts, for 250 dollars paypal... I checked his backpack.tf, his profile and everythi8ng seemed legit, but I don't know how they've done this but he's completely copied the actually persons profile somehow and that confused the shit outta me...anyway, he seemed legit and he made an offer for my items on steam and after chatting and chatting about how it works and if it is trustworthy.......I had to accept.... now I am actually completely poor, and mentally poor as well... I know asking for things is not the right thing to do but, I lost a 200 dollar backpack... and I'm asking the amazing community of xenogamers for help, just anything will help even one refined metal will go a long way. This is silly. PayPal is risky but that doesn't mean you should never do it if you are experienced. Always get a middle man no matter what, an official one from steam rep. Or if the other party agrees, someone you know in xg (unlikely but it never hurts to ask.) If he doesn't agree to a middleman he is not worth your time.

I got a laptop that could play some games and i got css for gmod. I joined the game and just joined the server with the most people at the time which was xg jb. And i stayed cause most of the people were really nice funny cool etc etc. Though. There were a share of shit heads but the good ones out weighed the bad. @speedlimit56kb was the guy who really pushed me to join.

Going to be gone for a week, leaving christmas day and coming back new years day.
