  1. @Caleb956 It is the current year (2017) so a ban from 2013 would be 4 years ago.

    Also I think it has been long enough, and since nobody here seems to even remember the incident I will +1 for unban.

    @Bello @Vexx @Elcark Thoughts?

    Yeah, I agree.

    Pretty sure there are several instances where we've unbanned mass frekillers after a huge period of time. +1 from me as well

  2. Hm, it might be better to skip halloween and try to get something working for winter/christmas, would probably turn out better if we had some could spend more time on it. I have a couple ideas but it requires me to do some background work first.

    We had an event when it was Blank, Goblins and me as higher ups. We didn't really plan it, yet somehow had a full server for an incredibly long time.

    The event we had back then was pretty fun, but if we'd start planning one now [as in a few weeks/months in advance], it could be really great.

    We should definitely do a lot of giveaways while people are on the servers. For that I would recommend using /raffle every five to ten minutes. These small giveaways can just be craft hats or something.

    And then some bigger giveaways. Back in the event I was speaking of, we raffled away a few custom titles and a few keys. Not sure about others, but tbh I can spend 5 to 10 dollars on stuff that we can raffle away and I probably have some craft hats that I don't really need.

    Other than that, we can use general trade for events and play some fun maps where we reward the winner with a "bigger" reward. Whether it be Hide and Seek [one higher up as hider and the rest of the server as seeker - first one to find them gets a reward] or just some other stuff. I'm down to help as much as I can.

  3. It's not my intent to push for either to happen (i'm for the opposite in fact), and i'm more than fine if both are disregarded. That being said, I still feel anything ought to be said as opposed to silence, both in these cases and any others. Such would keep it from seeming like they are being ignored just for the sake of not dealing with them.

    You are completely right.

  4. I'm not certain at this point if votes/polls are normally taken care of based on the results or discussed first considering how the goldenrod and random crit threads were discussed further here.

    Regardless, I want to bring up two threads that have finished up but seem to be forgotten.

    Both threads are speaking about two issues that are basically non-existant again (in my opinion at least). The votes represent only a small group of people who play on our server, so if you really want to remove MassCC and re-enable objectives, I'd urge you to some votes with sm_vote on TGH when the server has a lot of people. We are not obliged to implement something that we do not want just because there was a vote, but it can be very helpful in some cases.

  5. I suppose we could remove it, although 11 total votes really isn't much... I figure if we get complaints, we could just re-add it if necessary.

    I personally don't play a lot on the Pokemon server, though.

    Not really any issues with the map, but having 3 versions of the same exact city is rather redundant. I don't see an issue with getting rid of one.

    Vote was a bit old and forgotten, but I don't see much issue with following through still.

    Considering the day and night variant maps are practically carbon copies, not many people will likely care if one is gone.

    alright im gonna remove it ;)

  6. I like the concept but ehh... I'd much rather have something like that popup in chat rather than it produce an overlay on a player.

    I'm not sure if this is 100% possible. The friendly command has to be done a certain way and isn't instant. If you're using a plugin to force an overlay, they don't have to be alive to begin with, I think, so blocking them from kill binding themselves wouldn't matter.

    Honestly, I feel this is overkill for just warning a person. Maybe a command that allows us to warn someone in chat with much more visible text would work better. Like forcing an easy to see chat color and change of text size (if possible within Source). Other than that, I feel this is a bit too much.

    @Bone doing god's work.

  7. Furthermore, I'd like to thank XenoGamers for introducing me to my future wife, Megan. She was one of the many members here and on TridentGaming for years! She went by aliases Megan, Apple Juice, and numerous others. We've been together for nearly six years now, and without your guys' servers, we would've never happened. You guys made many, many friendships for me, as well as gave me my lifelong best friend.

    Sorry @virr don't ban me but this sounds actually very cool and for some reason I felt the need to say this.

    Good luck to you two in the future (y).
