4 pointsDid you really think i sent a picture of my balls? Are you really this naive? Do you really think nobody would just go to google and type in a couple words and boom their search comes up? You can't be serious. Half the people who +1 aren't even from CSS you dunce. You can't accept that people don't agree with your opinion so you find something and automatically assume bias? What about the bias shown on the people who -1? I've still play with people from old CSS in games like GTA and hang out in their teamspeak room. and even then they still don't agree with you. I'm reading your comment over again and i honestly can't believe someone believes this.
-
3 pointsChrist, I am getting really fed up with you flareon. The moment someone doesn't agree with you, you proceed to claim major bias and proceed to insult the CLs because they do not agree with a view point of your own. What about hidingmaster? He's a CL who was CS and doesn't want me unbanned. Why are you straight up not looking at the TF2 people who actually wish to reduce my ban? it's not bias because they are in tf2? The fact you are so immature (called me immature lol) in not accepting other opinions and claim bias while insulting the CLs makes me fully understand why you were demoted. This is also coming from the same person who straight up said, xG should use fear to bring order into the servers, but doesn't like it when someone is mean to him. everyone has some hypocrisy in them but for god sakes, try not to make it so obvious. 1 pointWe've had our ups and downs, but I'm torn on this one. You knew how to do your job. None of us will argue that. But you are arguably the most toxic person in the clan. I think you can wait out your ban like any other person would. You've said multiple times you will NEVER change. So why should you get a reduction on your punishment? Since you're just gonna go back to your old self. Sorry boss, but Ima -1 for now

1 pointIf you didn't play tf2 with Vector you have no context for judging how he was on the servers. If you didn't play CS:S with him the same is true. If you whine it doesn't help and makes you look like an idiot. Everyone stop whining and take the bitching to a convo. Any post not relevant to Vector's ban protest from here on out is deleted no matter who posted it. CLs aren't the only ones with forum powers, so them not playing tf2 is irrelevant. (You guys totally should though). Inb4 biased abuse of power.
-
1 pointAlso, to add... If a user is using the calladmin command and they genuinely think that there is an issue when there really isn't anything for us to fix, instead of immediately administering a day ban in the future, explain to the individual that the call is not verifiable and give them a warning. If someone is constantly spamming the calladmin command with absolutely NO reason, then we utilize the day ban. Use wise judgments in these situations. Look at it from their perspective. Adapt wasn't trying to use the command without reason. He was just trying to help.

1 pointand @Adapt its fine, you thought you were unjustly banned, and you did the right thing and made a ban protest. Props c:

1 point@metalslug53 ah okay sorry about that. All kypari said was "as long as you are normal sized you can kill em" so I figured, why not shrink myself till I'm close enough. Again sorry. And 2 more things. 1. Is there a thread with donator rules I can read (clearly need to). And 2. Why on my member sub? It's so cring pls no :p

Vector. You knew fully well that you should not go to extreme measures when arguing or making fun of someone, you are an ex-staff member. Now, if memory serves me correctly, I only recall telling someone to commit suicide is a week ban. I don't remember Vector ever saying they were going to kill someone. Therefore, it's only fair if Vector gets unbanned, right? Or maybe not. @Healix told me to check the chatlogs on a server a while back about you, so I did. I found out you were arguing with someone and they said you had no balls..so you sent a picture of them. I'm not sure if makes you a legend or if it makes you a creepy mother fucker, but it's definitely not allowed. You used to constantly scream in your mic insults at people who didn't have the same view as you or didn't know their facts properly. So basically you mass disrespected. So overall I believe that Vector's ban length should be decreased to one month from now. Just my -

Why was Vector banned in the first place? Although Vector could be a harsh person He never really bothered me and always inforced the rules, especially while he was an admin. I haven't played tf2 in about 9 months so i missed all the important aspects of him being banned in the first place but i have noted that since I've signed on more rules have been broken and theres more flaws with the servers now then there were 9 months ago. I've noticed people using No clip and resizing to kill people. And the random pop up advertisements are more then intrusive and obnoxious. The vector I knew would be one of a handful of people to call these things out simply because he played the game more then others. from my experience with vector I'd have to +1 -

I'm Santa and i will stuff your ass full of coal if u wanna fight about it. But on a more related not, The only problem i can see with vector being unbanned early is people trying to get a rise out of him to get him permed or providing shit/faked evidence to get him permed. ALso @Ohstopyou you need to sit down and think on shit, you are not above the cl's they realized the punish was to harsh. You are not the final say if hes unbanned early or not. You say his posts are "bitchy/moaning" but admitted to not reading them. Has he hurt you that much you have to try your hardest to keep him banned? and unless you have proof people stopped playing because of him dont even bring it up, it seems more personal then anything between you two. -
1 pointWhy can't we all just have a nice calm and collected ban protest? Is that so much to ask?
-
1 pointHere's how I see it. Vector's ban (as agreed to by Silence when there was still a "leader" rank) was reduced to a 6-month server ban, of which about ~2.5-3 months of which has gone by. If anyone thinks that this isn't the case, here is a screenshot proving my point. Unless Silence went back on his decision without notifying us while he was still leader or a secret discussion (of which every other CL is totally unaware of) was had after he became a Community Leader (along with Nomulous), this 6-month server ban still stands. If this was a permanent ban, I would absolutely +1 this and support either an immediate unban or an unban within the near future (the next 1-2 months or so). However, since his server ban is temporary (I believe it's set to expire in November) I feel that Vector should serve out the remainder of his ban. Even though this thread is only a few hours old, we've already begun to butt heads between absolute solutions for this situation. Despite this, I do think that we can come to a compromise. I would definitely be in favor of reducing Vector's server ban to one month. He still has to ride out a little bit more of a punishment, but ultimately Vector will get to play on the servers he says he's still dedicated to improving. I agree with those who have recognized Vector's improvement over the past few months. From what I've seen, he reminds me much more of the Vector I knew and worked with during my time as a mod/admin in CS:S, opposed to the overly argumentative and combative behavior he showed around the time of his ban. I feel that this improvement is enough to warrant a reduction in his ban. The only real way to prove if Vector has definitively improved is to see how he behaves over a longer period of time on our servers. Keep in mind that just because he's unbanned doesn't mean that he's immune to further punishment. If sufficient evidence is brought forth proving to the community that he is still an overwhelmingly negative force on our community and servers, a new ban (which almost certainly) will be a perm will be enacted. If Vector really is as toxic as some people say he is, this evidence shouldn't be too difficult to collect. However, keep in mind that this evidence has to have some substance to it. I don't want just a list of complaints from people butthurt that he rustled their jimmies after telling them about rules they broke, unless he was unnecessarily cruel when doing so. All in all, I think that Vector's ban should be reduced to a month, due to recent improvement in his behavior on Teamspeak and the forums. However, if the community (not just one DL) comes to a different conclusion, I'd be fine with it.

1 pointGoing to post what I said in the tf2 higher up convo here. It's relevant and this way the CLs can see it. I've seen improvement. He's not as bad as he was before on the forums. Vector isn't a nice guy, but the tone is different now. He's a bit combative but no personal attacks, and no starting shit on purpose (that ban protest was going downhill regardless, he could've changed to an amish guy that gave all his tf2 shit out for free and that thread would have gone the same way. All of us know that). He isn't a kissass or one for apologies, but he's honest and direct. He got the complaints about the personal attacks and being rude to individuals, but I'm not seeing it on forums. He has been passionate about disagreeing with rules and our decisions, but all of that is fair game for all members to comment on. I know alot of people stopped coming because of him, but nothing he has done on our servers is recent. If the discussion is about whether or not he has changed, then nothing he did on our servers is relevant to that discussion. When I first joined I was friends with Vector, then he took a turn for the worse and playing on the same server wasn't an enjoyable experience anymore. The Vector I'm seeing on the forums reminds me of the old Vector. He'll never be a suck up like other people. He won't beg. Forbidding him from mona pizza is pointless because he isn't the type to do that anyway. But what I'm seeing from him is improvement. He was banned because he stopped attacking rule breakers in a direct and effective way and turned into a shit starter that wasn't fun to be around. The way he talks and interacts isn't always the most amiable, and he's argumentative, but I'm seeing the arguments shift back to a productive tone. I understand if you haven't seen it, or disagree, I'm just asking for you to look deeper and give him a chance, because I have seen improvement.

I literally don't have the time or the data to go through all the malicious posting to people from you. Awesome that people who are higher ups support your unban; they are all not from the relevant division. Also, the people that were messing with the ban before had no relevant time played or experience (current experience) with our TF2 player base. If you wish to be unbanned from the other divisions, I'm sure we can find a way to unban you from CS:S, CS:GO, GMOD, etc. Nope. I haven't been reading any of your posts because I don't feel the need to waste my time reading bitchy, moaning posts I, in fact, am not holding a grudge as your previous ban was fine enough for my grievances. You can make up all the excuses you desire, but I am tired of fighting with you. I cannot overlook the complaints from people that arise. When people tell me they have to avoid the servers because of specific people; it makes me sick to hear about it. Maybe if you actually fess up, and stop trying to play favorites with people so you can act however you want, you wouldn't be in this mess. I'm tired talking about it. Until I see some actual improvement, rather than trying to get away from punishment or trying to wait it out, your ban will not be removed. -------------------------------------------- You can bitch at me all day and call it "racism", holding a grudge, prejudice, anti-semitism, or any other excuse you can think of. I'm trying to be polite and come to a compromise here. If you actually try and own up to your mistakes, and turn a new page, everything can be water under the bridge. Not now, but in the future. Wait a couple months. You can actually see I'm trying to resolve this once and for all so that we will never (hopefully) have to come back to this again. Again, like I said, you don't have to like everyone, but don't be horrible to everyone. -

1 pointBody/Building Blocking is when you get people stuck in you or your buildings when they go through a teleport, block doorways that don't have teleporters is perfectly fine
-
1 pointcc I agree with OhStopYou on this, bodyblocking is only if you are stuck inside a sentry/dispenser when you exit the room or enter
-
1 pointO-M-G. YUR BANNED HINA. BANNED 4EVER. I don't think this is really bodyblocking. I thought only if the door used a teleporter, and you teleported INSIDE the sentry/dispenser, that it was building/body blocking. You could easily have a disguised spy and just keep sapping it over and over again. It's not that hard. gg.

1 pointI love it when people make a ban protest over a day ban.
-
1 pointYou completely ignored what I was explaining on the server. You're active on the forums and multiple protest threads, I've seen you, so you know very well that many admins take that as trolling. I even sent you a link to a thread where you were active, and you completely ignored me! I never said that you didn't know the rules. What I said was you know the rules but you were acting like you don't. This was going on for over three maps. I was being polite and letting it slide for the first map until you guys started crossing the line and getting serious with it. I told the entire server over the mic "Let's calm down with the attitude and stop spamming". Then the map changed and you and four other people continued. It doesn't need to be continuous. Like I said, you and four other people were filling up the chat with it, even when I clearly said for everyone to stop. Need I point out: I gagged the two people that were new to the server, and the people that were regulars and knew the rules were given a worse punishment according to how badly they broke them: dieZombies was given a 4-hour ban because he is somewhat new and doesn't know all of the rules. He hasn't been banned in the past. You were given a day ban because you are not new, and you are active on the forums and some threads where the rules are discussed, but you have not been banned in the past. Oh geez was given a two-day ban because he was active on the forums and was a regular, before he quit, and he was banned in the past for getting out of hand. There was clearly a problem on the server when we were on the MLCastle map, as I could feel a fight brewing. People were yelling on the mic and in chat, so I changed the map. Then you guys start getting all stupid in the chat saying I'm "salty" and "abusive", then the lenny faces fill up the chat again. To sum up the entire situation with everyone involved: It was a combination of the spam of lenny faces, unconstructive criticism, foul language, voteban abuse, and disrespect to fellow players. A clusterfuck overall. Just next time, use common sense and feel when it's getting out of control. If the chat is being filled up with "salt" and lenny faces, know when to stop. Especially when a staff member asks everyone to. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also, before even considering bans, I talked with @kbraszzz and he said he was okay for a day ban. Notice again that I did not give everyone a day ban, and it was scaled to the severity of what they did (some less severe, some more). Your ban is expiring in approx. 6 hours and 45 minutes (7:44 PM EST), I think you can wait.

1 pointlmfao no fuck off. you leave after you didn't get DM like a fucking baby, deleted people off your friends list, and proceed to alienate all of xG then come back only when i'm demoted. Holy shit you're pathetic lmfao
-
0 pointsHonestly, I thought about it and as much of an anus Vector was in his day It's not really that big of a deal to me if he comes back. I honestly think it couldn't be THAT huge of a damn problem for him to play on the servers with us, I'm not really heated about him wanting to comeback, who knows might end up rubbing off on us. I'm not going to shit hell fire over one person, plus I've met worse human beings on servers, and (sometimes it's people still in our division no offense). Hell the guy just speaks his mind so I can definitely respect that. +1
-
0 pointsI don't know what xG would be like if Vector was never here. Not gonna lie. When I first joined, Vector was one of the main dudes I went to with questions and concerns. He was one of the biggest supporters of me initially getting Mod and eventually Admin that I can recollect. He stood up for me when I was going through the ranks and actually gave a shit about me. I consider Vector a friend. I've never had any issues with Vector on a personal level. There are very few times we have ever actually disagreed about anything, and when we did disagree about something, we were quick to bump heads and resolve our issues, and get right back to work on whatever we were working on. Vector was always one to handle things a bit more brash than others, but he never slacked in his duties and always made sure rules were being enforced. It wasn't until I became a DM that I even really ever had any sway over what Vector was doing in our clan, and when it happened, I was bombarded by an overwhelming rush of complaints about how he handled things. Perhaps it was just my new responsibilities that meant I'd eventually have to deal with the issue, or maybe it just came with the job, but the inevitable fallout of Vector being banned happened, and I am still very mixed on that decision. But here we are now. Vector is here, protesting the ban, showing us all that he still very much cares about this clan. The very clan that cast him out, told him that he was unwanted, that he was a jerk and a butt...he still cares about this clan. He still wants to be apart of this community, even after everything that has happened. I can't say I'd feel very much like sticking around a clan that did that to me, even if I was or was not in the wrong. The moment something like that happened, I would have been out of that clan in a heartbeat and never turned back. It takes a hell of a lot of drive to stick around a place like that, especially if a majority of the members made it perfectly clear that you were not welcome. Well, I say "Fuck it" to all of that nonsense and will give my +1 to the unban. I'm not advocating a reinstatement of admin privileges or an immediate addition to the moderation team or anything, but if Vector can humble himself enough to say "I fucked up and want to make amends." and still show that he actually gives a damn about our community, I say we give him the benefit of the doubt and welcome him back. I can't speak for everyone, and I know that a lot of those who have already posted in this thread have made it evidently clear that you dislike Vector, but me....I'm a forgive and forget kind of guy. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me, you know? Just my two cents. tl:dr I +1 the unban.

-1 pointsJust pointing something out, @Sylux and @Goblins aren't even members.... Also, I believe that you probably did change, but since you haven't really been on any other TS channel other than the anime channel, I really can't confirm it. Staying neutral for now.
-
-1 pointsprobably because the owners of the channels, and the other people that are channel admins have an inherent belief that vector is worse than hitler and the devil combined, and would probably try to have him perm'd from ts if they saw him in the channel :^) On a more related note: +1 , Now vector is not Saint Nicholas, but then again, who really is santa? none of you guys. le hue He's not a bad guy, I look at his "bm" that you guys would claim, from what you could actually see in real evidence, and it's like a baby pool compared to anything I've seen. and on top of that more often than not, those claiming it are equally bad or worse in several cases. then the un-proved, evidence lacking claims of cyber bullying to the point of making people cry so hard that the server is shit if his presence is thought to be around and that they would never come back if he was. 1, no evidence of that, 2 that is ridiculous if people didn't play cs:s because rabid, netex, duckii, duckii jr, etc. were anywhere near the servers, then xg would not have been around for this tf2 community to flourish. That's all I'm going to say for now, I seem like a broken record constantly bringing up the "no evidence/proof" thing, but it's a fact. you don't just punish someone based on hearsay, you need cold hard evidence.
