As much as xG is trying to "reform" or "change it's ways" Why did you allow something like what that guy was posting go on for so long in a thread that is most likely delicate to the poster. She is a person that is trying to find new/start new in life and "very recently" decided to start telling people. and we are some of the first people from what it sounds like to know about this. Those comments/Posts should have been deleted immediately when they started conflict. Not asked to be deleted 4 pages later. For people that have no idea what to say, and or feel the need to say anything rude to the recently announced person that has decided for a full life style change. Two options- Be accepting, follow the wishes to call "him" her now. Don't talk about someone behind their back, or start drama in team speak about this. Idk if this person is popular amongst our clan, but I know we all have our cliques, Just don't be rude about this. " not implying any one already is but you know" this is a rather sensative thing and will most likely take time for people to get used to. so try and act like "civilized teenagers" and or adults for the few that are. What a fucking embarassment. The way this thread has gone is absolutely disgraceful. I'm all for letting people have opinions and feel no matter the opinion it should be respected. But newsflash, there is a time and place for your opinions. If someone simply makes a thread to alert people of a certain lifestyle change and a want to be called by a different pronoun, you don't need to berate/post your opposing opinion. Not one time did she ask for how you thought of her and her choices. Just because you have a freedom of speech means jackshit when youre being an inconsiderate human. There's a time and place. Also, @ArminArmout just let us know if you want the thread closed or specific posts deleted and I will gladly do so. If anyone decides to troll or harass armin, or anyone for that matter in the future for lifestyle choices, you better expect an instant ban. There's certain basic and inalienable rights, one is certainly the ability to live however you want without harassment and bullying. And don't get discouraged or bothered by the people who made comments against you. It's only that they don't understand what it is like to be in your situation, which you can probably understand can be confusing to those not knowledgeable about its specifics. You should never feel less than others, or like an outcast, you are just like the rest of us. Obstacles are presented to everyone, but what makes the true heroes stand out are those that don't let these obstacles stop their progress. You keep being you, and remember that there are always people here that will support you.

First off, nobody hid anything that was done. It was pretty clear that your posts were deleted and bans were issued for those that were trolling/harassing. Do staff abuse their power on the forum? Eh, thats debateable. I've actually yet to see true proof of anyone abusing their power, maybe using it a little more effectively than others, yes, but not abusing. Also, as diabeetus said, he was the one issuing the bans although I would have done the same thing, but he beat me to it. Like I said in the forum in question, people are allowed to have their opinions; but there is a time and place. I would be pretty ashamed of myself if I went onto a thread like that and starting bashing a life choice. It wasn't the time nor place for it. The fact that you, and others, personally attacked someone based on their life is beyond inappropriate, especially to the point that they were negatively effected emotionally. If you can't see how your actions led to negative results, then please don't hang around here. We also don't have to follow the rules that you believe should be set upon yourself. Obviously your content in no way was conducive to a respectful environment, nor were banned persons, and thus they were removed. We used our discretion, appropriately in my opinion, to keep these forums as neutral as possible. Just because you believe your opinions were so important doesn't mean we really give a shit. You respect our members and we respect you, its as simple as that. Now I do have a deal for you. Show us, with clear and undeniable evidence, where the abuse occurred, why exactly this was abuse according to the rules set forth on this page, and why the comments were appropriate and I will take a second look at it. Until then, nothing is changing (bans and removal of posts will remain). Also, in case you are curious the basic human rights are necessarily outlined word for word, rather there is a level of interpretation and common sense that must be used. Like I said, ain't nobody here shall ever be harassed or made fun of for their own personal lifestyle. P.S. @Kypari , I saw your post and just wanted to say thanks for the support, it means a lot.

Server: Jailbreak Suggestion: Give wardens priveleges to turn on/off colisions by a simple chat command. A lot of games that require collisions (i.e. bumble beam) dont work simply because collisions are off and can't be turned on by any measures. This would also solve a few more problems such as; camping in one spot with more than 3 reds, confusion to wardens caused by people stacking in one box trot taunt, stacking disabled by default

+/-0, but only because I'm not active enough in the Division being applied for to give a legitimate vouch. This guy was one of the older gents of XenoGamers whom I was first acquainted with. You know, before the cancer set in (Jk, I love xG). Needless to say he was (and still is) a great guy to hang out with and has a great sense of humour. He is also just a generally good friend to have, so I strongly suggest getting to know the guy for those of you who don't know him. Now, as I mentioned earlier, I can't vouch for activity and all that, but I can vouch for his maturity. Unlike countless other Members/Players, Duke has the capability to keep a level-head in heated discussions or other hostile environments, which is always a fantastic trait to have. Though this isn't always the case, he does state his opinion (albeit in a blunt manner at times) but he does so without upright ridiculing or stating the others' opinion as false. His experience on the Servers also goes hand-in-hand with this application, showing that he is capable of upholding rules and the like in a professional manner. Again, this is all based off of past experience with Duke and as such I cannot provide a legitimate vouch. I'm hoping to log in some more hours on CS:GO so that I can provide some more input (maybe some time on TeamSpeak as well), but until then I'll remain at a +/-0, though strongly leaning toward a 1-up :coffee: M: 8/10 A: ?/10 D: +/-0 until further notice.

Let's make a couple of things clear, Hidingmaster did not delete your post, I did. The reason I deleted your post was because it did not contribute in any way, shape or form to the thread in general, and was made almost certainly with the intention of making Hidingmaster or anyone else in the thread aggravated. No one deleted your post to cover themselves up. Your first thread was closed for a reason, just because it didn't go the way you wanted doesn't give you the right to post a new one. Make another thread and you will be banned.

The hate was completely unnecessary. You wouldn't understand how it feels to come out if you're straight, so you can't say anything about it. Anyway. @Hidingmaster is an amazing CL; if not the best in xG. I completely agree with posts being removed. All that Armin wanted was for us to call "him" a her instead, which is fine. To step in and have a final word, since I missed this entire ordeal, I think the idea of someone paying to become part of the moderation staff is a terrible idea. Sure, it's good monetarily for our servers, but detrimental to our image when people buy their position and can't handle the responsibility. I'd personally be content with doing away with it as a whole. You shouldn't be able to buy responsibilities like this when you can't handle them. That's why we make judgment calls on who gets those privileges.

Biological gender is what 99%, actually 100% really, of people use to determine peoples gender. Because he suddenly decided he likes the term "Female" more, that doesn't really make him a female. So I recently made a post on that previous thread I was talking about trying to describe how a staff member was in the wrong about a topic and after doing so he removed my comment and marked my next one as Salty. While, yes, I was Salty in my second comment, my first comment was legitimately explaining what he did wrong and educating him on how. This is an example of an abuse of power simply because I called him out. Everyone isn't perfect. People make bad decisions and are more often than not miss-informed, if he accepted that he was wrong then there would obviously be no problem but he took out the comment to make himself look better. Staff who was abusing power: @Hidingmaster

So in my case you say that my wine does not taste good without cheese? Why did I have it coming? It was a legitimate response to a comment that was made. For a forum this should not be as trivial as it is made out to be. The whole reason of a forum is to be a community and if the people running the community aren't doing their job correctly then the community isn't being run correctly. People in power need to be the "peace-keepers" if you will. If they do something wrong they need to admit the fact that they did it and try to correct it so it doesn't happen again.

My intention for all of my replies had nothing to do with degrading @ArminArmout . Actually, it had nothing even regarding @ArminArmout other than one of his posts was the location of where it happened. I have stated multiple times that I was trying to EDUCATE the staff member on what he did wrong and NOT troll. For some reason anything that calls people out on their wrong doing is a crime and people who say otherwise are also just trolls.

Some of you might see my account and notice that I have not been on this forum here very long. In fact this is my first thread. But I actually do hang out on the TS a lot with a couple of friends, some of which I have actually met on the TS server. This being said I hope that this does not invalidate my opinion on recent topics for recent bans. Yesterday, a post was made called I Have Something Really Important To Say and it was focused on a transgender person "coming out" by the name of @ArminArmout. This thread brought about many people accepting and rejecting the main topic. The problem I see is that a user by the name of @Ryan_Sebastian was banned with the cause being Trolling/Harassment. Reading over the thread I don't see how he was Trolling in any way but for the topic of Harassment I can only convict him one time: "...continue jerking it to ponies that 7 year olds watch." - @Ryan_Sebastian In his defense he was provoked by multiple previous comments which he did nothing to impel. People were calling him a troll and being extremely disrespectful to him for voicing his opinion, which is in no way wrong. People might get offended, yes, but that does not constituted a ban. Authority should not abuse their power in such a manner for they are to be the ones that stay calm and come to conclusions that are just. Making rash decisions based on emotions at the time is in my eyes, completely unacceptable but is forgivable. If the authority continues to make such improper decisions, I believe that said user should not hold that position. This would keep the most fair and enjoyable community for everyone. I don't want to go into detail on exactly how @Ryan_Sebastion should be one of the few who is NOT banned (I will if necessary) from that thread but to be clear he was the one being harassed and not the one harassing.

People need to understand that staff on this forum abuse their power. People getting rid of comments simply because it makes themselves look bad is a serious issue. Own up to your mistakes. You won't be respected very often if you try to hide everything you do wrong.
