Only reason it took that long the last time was bc i sent it to like 4 dfferent states T_T. The people who built it for me(for free, bday gift) lived in North Carolina and South Carolina. after sending it back and forth to both of them just for neither to fix it, then sending it with my grandmother to the college she works at in pennsylvania to give to their tech guy, who couldnt fix it. then a few months later i bring it to some random place minutes away and they say they can fix it within a day if they had the part, and a week to actually get the part shipped.
 
Besides im more than likely just going to build myself a new one with actually decent parts. It just might be awhile til i do it.

the worst thing happened at summer school yesterday
a fucking snorlax popped up in our room and everyone wanted to get it, most people got a level 1000+ (including my brother who's level 12) but i got a level 223 snorlax and i was almost level 19 for fucks sake

printer cables.

The thing is, my pc wont even run long enough for me to run any sort of antivirus before freezing up. I run antivirus on my pc fairly often, so either it wasnt detected or it had managed to get on there within a day, as i ran an antivirus the day before.
 
I wouldnt be surprised if it was related, but ive also had problems with high CPU problems, to the point where it would nearly max out.
 
Tried starting the PC again, it crashed, and the thing with this problem is if i try to start it again after it crashes it doesnt even show up on the screen. I cant get to desktop without letting it sit for atleast half a day.
 
Edit: Im not too good with this sort of stuff, just saying.

It's OP as fuck. I can literally be the first to any multi-games game selection every try, and bhop across the map before others get halfway through. It's ridiculous.
 
Now, that being said. Some multi-games maps do require the air acceleration to be at what it is. And it should be configured for each map so people who cant bhop can still enjoy minigames.

Well, my computer pretty much took a crap again, and im debating on just saving up and building my own computer(rather than the joke im using right now), rather than just replacing a part again just for another one to break afterwards. Im not 100% sure what happened, since it was recent and it hasnt been looked at yet, nor have i attempted to look at it.

Thats the error message i get. The computer when it originally broke had turned itself off while it was running, and then i would turn it on only for it to turn itself off 2 or 3 seconds after.
After that, i let it sit for awhile, only for it to get to the screen picture above, and freeze. After i let it sit for a whole day, i managed to get past that screen(although it still popped up). I managed to log in, get to my desktop, opened up Chrome and it froze, and sent a constant ringing noise in my ears. Im not sure what it is, but if anyone knows, help is appreciated. Either way if its an easy fix i can do it myself, if i have to replace any parts im not wasting my money on my garbo computer.

I have the money to build my own pc right now if need be but i have more important priorities between the car i just got, insurance etc. Not leaving or anything, but i wont be on without a computer. If im not back soon just demote me and give someone else admin.

Yeah, frankly, after about a week of playing and being level 22... I'm starting to lose interest already. The game is very shallow and there really isn't much to it. The biggest problem is the combat system. Anything would have been better than what we have now, I don't understand why they didn't just keep a turn based combat, it couldn't have been any worse than the "spam tap" combat we have right now.
 
The balancing of city vs. nature is horrendous, there is no reason to ever go out into nature because there's practically no pokemon and stops there. The game should reward you for getting out there, it's Pokemon GO, right? But it feels more like Pokemon SIT at many times because of how efficient it is to go downtown and sit on top of 3 permalured pokestops which handily also give you all the balls you need to keep going.
The servers are awful and they haven't fixed the 3 footprint problem in like four days now. Balance is also completely wack, water as a type is broken OP as shown by most of the top tier pokemon being water type, especially the ones carrying water gun. Meanwhile some types such as fighting are almost unusably bad.
 
All in all I'm just wondering "Why am I still doing this?" and the only answer I can come up with is to get stronger pokemon so I can better fight gyms.... but the combat system is just that bad and I find it hard to even care about the gyms considering how easy it is to take them back, attackers are favored very, very heavily, there isn't even a cooldown on attacking a gym.
 
I don't know, I appreciate what this game did in terms of bringing people together, getting them out there (even if it's just into town and not into nature) and having everyone socialize a bit while getting fresh air.
 
But in the end it's a very shallow experience with bad gameplay at its core and I don't see the addition of 1v1 duels with friends or trading helping this really. I'm now looking forward to Sun and Moon again, if nothing else the game sure made me lust for another full Pokemon game again after skipping ORAS.

One of the reasons I introduced this concept is to pull away from the [varying] ban times that I've seen players being given, or at least to have it set in stone what the actual procedure should be. Call me old fashioned, but having something to refer to in terms of specifics for ban times just makes it so much easier on Staff; especially when there are instances in which some players are let off with a warning while others aren't (this is assuming their ban histories are similar). I just never really was a fan of ban times being up to the discretion of the Staff (no offense to Staff at all, I just prefer static punishments) since it involved varying ban times for offenders.
 
That being said, I can't speak for the Staff and if it really isn't that big of an issue (if it ain't broke, don't fix it) then this whole thing can be disregarded, though I would still like to see what other Staff have to say on the matter; including Staff from other Divisions :coffee:

Keep in mind, the first week~ or so may have some bugs. Everything will be patched up as soon as possible.
 
The server features a large selection of maps (71 specifically), 6 of which were ported from CSS by the yung @Charles. They're (probably) exclusive to our server. Come and see :)
The maplist consists of a good balance between multigames/random minigames/course maps. There isn't a cpmenu for the course maps, but I'll consider adding one if there is a high enough demand. I personally don't see the point of having one.

Personally I think we should just stop perming first time offenders who mass on accident, unless they have a history of way too many accidental fks / other reasons. Permanent bans should given to people who are intentionally trying to ruin the experience for others on the server and/or those who simply are unable to properly play CT (also making it unfun for the rest of the players).

So I saw an ad today that's basically a company's way to get people to download their sketchy Chrome/browser extension that probably remembers all your passwords then blackmails you later.
However, it wasn't just a normal ad. It was advertising "Pokemon GO: Desktop Version", which to me is hilarious. I can just imagine people downloading it thinking "Well, I don't have a phone, so I guess I'll have to carry my PC tower with me"

Since the banning staff member said he thought it was an accident, I've shortened it to 2 weeks, as is typical for accidental masses. That being said, do not expect to have bans removed or shortened in the future for accidental things, as CTs are fully expected to be paying attention during rounds and know the rules.

While I do agree with you, and you are correct, I don't feel it should be kept to the maximum of keeping it permanent.
Since you punished him and know the exact situation as to how it was (him not paying attention, not just flat out massing) I don't feel it should be permanent. But again, that's just me.
