Mod submissions always have stayed open, and players never receive powers until after the promo demo list with their name is posted. Why are you trying to change that now? With the way that you are handling this case, you are removing the purpose of a promo/demo list.

#anotherhubthread2014 look at HG for example they still play with 1 map and population of the server is usually 40-60 average, they have coders within the community and take care of the regular server maintenance,here is some 12 grade math for you (hub + css = more players) , (more players+hub+custom stuff to actually donate for=$$$$$$$$ for xG) and i'm pretty sure that's what keeps @Rhododendron happy. :afro:

When we did have hub, our jb server was more populated and had more people interested in us due to what we had to offer. I understand that it is a-lot of work to do in making sure that everything added works smoothly, and that it doesn't make the server lag. Overall though I think we should atleast give it another shot. I mean what do we have to lose?

It has come to our attention that a group of some of our tf2 mods and members came on to the SNG jailbreak server and started spamming, calling everyone fags. Proof here Logs - Pastebin.com Whether they mean't to offend SNG or not it's still unacceptable. Members facing a demotion to "Member" Status (If they had more than member): - SpeedOfFreedom - Barmithian - Nora Users who will not be accepted to XenoGamers due to this: - Fenrir The Wolf These members are at risk to being expelled from XenoGamers as a whole. This behaviour will not be tolerated at all. Im not saying working on hub is easy, but NOBODY IS WORKING ON IT ANYWAY. By dumb logic, you could say "TF2 gets more people, so lets make THAT better before the servers that ACTUALLY NEED IT" or, you could look at it more logically and say " Since TF2 is already doing well, why dont we improve the servers falling behind?" All I ask is SOMEONE work on it, instead of saying for a whole year that it's being worked on, just for it to not be getting worked on, or get abandoned. Hub wont solve all CSS's problems, but it will help population. If you cant work on a server, why have it?

It's not that hard to make an app, but I can imagine it'd be hard to make a completely functional, visually attractive, and superior app than just using the 'safari' on your phone. And I'm assuming getting it on the app store wouldn't be easy for a medium group of gamers.

In the interest of being fair, we should either unban Echo or ban that certain other person. I personally hold if someone abused, they'll never hold a staff position again. But, this is just playing on our server. As a #newfag, I'll roll with what Hiding thinks since he'll know the context more - I hope. If we're going to keep other abusers unbanned for whatever reason, I have no problem with Echo being unbanned as he's liked the community generally. And it'd be highly hypocritical of us to keep one (person who has abused like this) unbanned and the other not.

No one's funding it. Yes, there are donations, but they aren't substantial enough to pay for both Servers and Hub. I'd honestly like to see a number (or at least an estimate) of how much it would cost to fund it @Rhododendron if that's even the problem. That includes the [possible] cost of paying for a coder. I firmly believe that if given a number to work with, Players/Members would be more inclined to provide donations rather than working with a "give money and things will happen eventually".

Honestly, I'm usually really against this kind of shit. You knew the punishment and decided to do it anyways. Buuuutttt, it has also been a year (about). I think the lesson was learned in that time period. I don't like using, "This admin smited but got unbanned" as justification. Though it may have actually happened, it's shit reasoning that basically can be used to let people go for any violation. So honestly I don't see the harm in letting you play on the servers. Powers will never be returned, but that's not what you're applying for anyways.

I know that no apology can excuse what I did. But I'm going to apologize to you all anyways. I made a stupid decision that I, as a moderator, should have thought about twice and not have done. I represented xG horribly and my entire division horribly. I'll just have to learn from this mistake and move on, but I can't act like I didn't do it. As far as Nora goes, I believe he has cut himself off from the clan, but I cannot be 100% on that. I did not mean to start anything with SNG in any way, and I did not want to start a massive clan war. My intents were not to do this, but in the end they did. Again, I am sincerely sorry, and that's all I have to say.
