We will be giving staff members more credits for their help and I'm looking into other ways to incentivize those, like staff members, that are invaluable. However stuff like this is gonna cause issues with stuff like that and we will most likely just ban those who do this. It's ridiculous that there are a small amount of individuals doing it.

Im honestly surprised that there were no demotions this past promo/demo. I don't think there is any room for that kind of abuse

The fact that you use the word "snitch" to describe this shows just how much you know about how things work. We're constantly telling people to record evidence of abuse and report it on the forums because staff should know better in the first place. If the incident isn't that bad, staff member gets a slap on the wrist, no harm done. You don't call the reporter a snitch, they're just doing what they're told to do. Using words like that will discourage others from reporting abuse/incidents because they don't want to be known as a "snitch" you see. Communication isn't the problem, the inability to pay attention to the admin handbook is. I try to talk to my DL's/DM's every day about trying to fix current problems because I do personally care a lot about these servers. I report anyone I see abusing their powers or breaking rules, even as a staff member. Edit: Also @Kypari please do not namedrop people, it really does cause a lot of arguments.

Seriously guys, these actions are the reasons some of our servers die or start dying. No one wants to play on a server with staff who think they are all high and mighty over everyone and can do whatever the hell they want just because they are staff. It is immature and rather disgusting behavior.

If you seriously need to be confronted and told that you can't sell your powers so others can abuse, you don't deserve powers. It's literally common sense, and the fact people call it "snitching" Is the dumbest fucking thing i have ever read. I'm sorry, and i'm trying not to be mean because we all make mistakes but this is just straight up silly, and i don't see how you think you have any sort of argument. Communication is vital and it's greatly appreciated but for fucks sakes in this case? Use your head and not your credit wallet. I really question this community and the people that are in it. It's frustrating to see a fantastic community dwell into this shit. You can discuss anything relevant but you can't name drop. You're right, no arguing, that shouldn't be on the server or forums, but if a discussion is polite, mature and an understanding between the parties then i think it should be allowed. That's just what i think. Also i want people to differentiate between argument and discussion, because sometimes others can't tell the difference. Also if it's just a heads up, shouldn't it be closed after the initial message? Idk how shit works anymore.

Some of the recent behavior from our staff has been quite disgusting if I may be blunt about it. Some seem to forget what micspamming is, others forget how abuse works. Guys I can't stress this enough, read the admin handbook, it'll really help you out in the long run. I'd even recommend keeping it open in the background or something, just in case you're unsure on how you handle a situation. There's also nothing wrong with asking other staff members what might be abuse or breaking rules, asking questions is never a bad idea. Also always remember to record any demos in case you think someone might abuse/break rules, evidence is the best thing you could possibly get if you want to keep these things from happening in the future.

Isn't this basically why probationary mods exist in the first place? To make sure that they can actually be trusted with the responsibility that is given to them? @everyone else, please report this kind of behavior to your higher ups, and if you are in a position of power, don't be afraid to call them out/potentially punish them for it because this shit gives us a horrible rep and is a big no-no.

We need an incentive program up in here that will reward players for reporting rule-breakers or abusive Staff, for real. To those of you already doing so, keep doing what you're doing. You're beautiful, don't ever change.

I believe so, having both towny and factions has never made any sense to me since they pretty much do the same thing but with different features. I personally prefer towny as it has always had more features and more options for town owners to utilize.

I believe there's an option to regenerate chunks that are inactive.

As we all know I have not been very active lately due mostly to school work and general life things, but also I have lost some of my original liking in CSGO. I loved my time with you guys and believe me ill be back someday someway, but I think for now its time to say bye. Hey what's poppin' guys. Recently we've been getting a lot of complaints about staff abusing their powers. And by a lot I mean a humongous amount of complaints. By putting this PSA up I just wanna make some things clear: Selling services for credits is not allowed. Services like: gagging/muting, launching players in the air via rocket, setting gravity for credits. This is honestly awful and represents the servers/clan really badly overall. We were never really strict on abuse, as a result there's been a lot of complaints. For example: Staff giving themselves like 50k HP to block the opposing team's spawn. Like, really? Mods+ have the ability to start votes, if you wanna have some fun with commands like sm_gravity you can always make a vote and see how it goes. Actual abuse will no longer be tolerated, this does also include using commands on everyone for no reason when the round ends etc. Staff members must show respect when dealing with players. We get it, although some people are incredibly hard to deal with, as a staff member you must treat others with respect. Starting to disrespect rule-breakers or even harassing them will most likely result in a removal of your powers and possibly a ban.
