Why are you so defensive about it and being so passive aggressive about it in the first place? Weed is literally proven to be a factor, not just his personality when he isn't high.

Problem is that Lxgik is 15. People can say weed isn't harmful as much as they want but that's a lie when you're growing up, and I've seen Lxgik when he's high. He's fucking out of it, and I don't trust anyone who is that out of it on the servers, especially not to do staff jobs. I completely agree with you Supreme. I'm not comfortable at all when Lxgik is around and I know he's more susceptible to breaking rules by accident when he's high. Weed is illegal where I am and I know what people are like around my age when they're high. You hardly come on enough to know Lxgik when he's high in the first place so you shouldn't throw passive aggressive comments in the first place honestly. Also, just because Weed isn't as bad as alcohol doesn't mean that weed is any better. In my opinion it's as bad because it's a gateway drug to harder drugs, whereas alcohol is a drink that most drink in moderation. 15 year olds smoking weed makes the community look really bad too. I definitely wouldn't want to come back to a server that had a young staff member actively getting high on servers, weed or not.

I'm with Krampus, I'd love to remove it as long as we toss the other in the bin as well, however, that's not the vote, and atm, this cyberpunk is marginally better than the old one, and is currently my only reprise from the worse one in question. Just to weigh the differences... There's a line between pornography and art. Would we kick someone with the statue of David as their spray? I doubt it, as pornography is intended to elicit erotic rather than aesthetic feeling. I don't think any small child is beating their meat to the woman in that painting. The rule is "no nudity" though, and I suppose that's in part due to dealing with trolls who would count their porn as "art" when approached about it, and "no nudity" gives a pretty airtight case for booting them, whereas if the rule was merely "no porn" or whatever, there could be legitimate argument as to when the line is crossed between artistic value and porn, as believe it or not, there's plenty of actual critically acclaimed art designed to elicit erotic feeling from the viewer. Hell I remember some guy who raised hell on Poke Trade because the admin/mod wanted him to change his spray, as it contained exposed breasts, and he complained about how "sexist" the rules were, that, "a picture of a man could have an exposed chest but a woman couldn't" or whatever. Obviously he was just there to be a l33t mast3r troll and raise as much hell as he could for 15 minutes or so. We probably don't want to open up the door to more of his ilk. My personal opinion is that this is a rated-M game. 17 and up or whatever, and I think steam at least pretends to value the ESRB system, meaning you shouldn't even be able to download the game if you aren't one, at least seventeen, or two, lying about your age. By this game's rating, it should be assumed that everyone playing it could handle anything found in your average rated-R movie. You don't see gratuitous amounts of explicit sex or pornography in an R movie, but you might see some nudity or something, and generally not excessive amounts of such. I get the concerns of nudity and children and whatnot, but I think complaints about non-erotic depictions of reality (yes, women do have boobs under their clothes, this is a part of reality) are just a little bit too puritanical for a server based around a game where people kill each other in viscous ways while screaming curse words, and every weird fetish under the sun is fair game (vore, eyeball licking, furries, scalies, home-made descriptive steamy fanfiction entries about burping into Val's butthole, etc.) so long the depiction in question doesn't contain any nudity. Anyway, I'm going to wrap this up because it's getting kind of ranty, in short, I don't really care. I don't particularly like the map, and the only reason I'd want to keep it around is because it sometimes saves me from the hallway. On one hand removing the map in question keeps the rules consistent, on the other it provides legitimacy for a rule I don't really like or think has a place in an M-Rated game. I'm going to -1 as it has, (and has had,) no immediate impact on the way player sprays are handled, or any increase in sprays that break our rules, and if it turns out to be a major problem we can always vote again.

I am somewhat questioning if anyone even bothered to watch the demo @mrnutty12 provided. I really did not see any fishy shots myself, only about one flick that made me question legitimacy, but not obvious to the point I think he's hacking. The spy thing isn't sufficient enough to straight out call him a hacker, one spy flashed his cloak and ran in front of the other while he was shooting at him, giving away both of their positions. I'll review the demo more times, but once again I really do not think the user is hacking. Also, please remember to be respectful when replying to people, insulting them for protesting a ban that they think they don't deserve is very immature and makes me question the legitimacy of your word, and your position of staff.

I watched both demos twice and maybe I'm blind or something but i just cant find anything that points to this guy being an obvious hacker. He's definitely not using an aimbot, the shots that seems to miss but do connect is most likely a result of lag/it being a demo, not silent aim. I guess it's possible he's walling but then again, it's not obvious enough for me to draw the conclusion that he is. I'd also like to remind everyone that you may only permanently ban someone if they are hacking beyond a reasonable doubt. Innocent until proven guilty is applicable after all and in this case the evidence just isnt convincing enough to warrant a permanent ban. +1 for unban

I'm neutral for now. Logic is a nice guy, but it's been a while since I've played with him. On the topic of the weed thing, however... I don't care if a person smokes weed, drinks, or snorts chocolate powder in their free time, just don't do it on the servers. We've had several past staff members who would get wasted while on the servers, I personally don't approve of it, but I'm not their dad. Like @Kypari said, it could make the community look kinda bad, but I feel that goes for anything that can alter a person's judgement. I personally wouldn't want to play on a server where a staff member is bragging that they can't see straight because they're so drunk/can't see their monitor past all the weed smoke/are currently "cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs".

He is fairly mature and an active player. I am all for him getting the position (probationary mod)... but my one and ONLY concern was/is if it will affect his ability to moderate properly, nothing more or less. He does act off when he's on it and does get a little careless... other than that I really have no issue with him becoming staff. Also, I don't care at all if he smokes weed, thats his choice. Don't claim to know more about weed and then say it's a gateway drug, disproven AF. And as for the rest of your post those are valid reasons to -1. But they're lxgics personal issues, not a weed issue. Don't blame the drug if he isn't being mature. That's just called immaturity. We have stoners that can effectively do their job and some that can't, clearly weed isn't the deciding factor in that, it's personal responsibility and maturity. And miss me with gateway drug nonsense.

Playing with suspicious players that may or may not be cheating, is suspicious in itself. Usually when hackers have friends that are playing with them both tend to be cheating. And given that both you and headshot scott were making some pretty suspicious shots, it just adds more to the idea of you two cheating. Also naming yourself as game mechanics like "hitscan dan", and "headshot scott" does make it a bit more suspicious. From games that I've seen, both on xG servers, and in Valve Casual matches. Hackers name themselves something clever along the lines of what you and your friend did.

Plus, as I mentioned before he was pocketing "headshot scott" was getting some suspicious shots as sniper as well.

I will add though (can't edit on phone plz) that even if you are smoking not to do it over mic or throw it in peoples faces, as I talked to you about today. I got called out on it and it was deserved, so I stopped. It makes us look bad. But as for you on your own time, go for it.

Honestly these responses are just ignorance. Weed is objectively safer/less judgement affecting than alcohol, and we let people of legal age drink. weed is legal where I am and I'm high on the servers fairly often (I've kind of been cutting back in general but that's personal and beside the point) someone being fit for staff really doesn't have much to do with intoxicants. If you abuse because you're drunk/high then you weren't fit staff, it wasn't the drugs fault. As for forgetfullness yeah he might miss a chat spam here or there, but we all do that anyway, nobody can read it 24/7. If he's fit staff his choice of how to relax has no effect on that, and if it does, he was never fit staff. Tl;dr mature people gonna be mature, immature people gonna be immature, stop blaming substances and blame yourself, because it's your fault. Drugs and drink don't make good staff go bad, those people just were bad staff. As for the thread +1 for probationary mod. I talked to him today about this and the rules and he's got a good head on his shoulders. I was also there. He and another guy named Headshot Scott were both getting some pretty suspicious looking shots in as Sniper. Unfortunately, I only have a demo of Scott's sketchy shots as Dan here was pocket Medic-ing him. Later on though, when he switched from Medic to Sniper, he was doing the same. Shots that should've been bodyshots or even misses were landing as Headshots. As he was Sniping outside of his spawn, he seemed to know where enemies were coming from, even if he hadn't seen them recently. Nutty's demo of Dan looks similar to the demo I had gotten of Scott: hitscan and scott.dem -1 for now. Seems far too sketchy to me. hitscan and scott.dem

Why? Being high is different for each person. When I get high, I mellow out. I don't lose the ability to moderate properly or act upon things. You need to stop being ignorant about this stuff. Medicine that makes you drowsy could affect how you moderate in-game. You want to sit out for a day and not play games? While weed itself is "controversial" to many, it's not like he is doing harder drugs. Chill, Supreme. Other than that, I know there has been issues in the past about Logic. I haven't really seen him on the servers, so I can't really say much. When I do play, I'll catch you on and maybe make a vouch from there. Good luck on the application.

-1 We had 4 people recording while he was on Pokemon, Nutty, Elcark, Matteomax, and I. Killed 2 cloaked spies, made some very suspicios headshots, teamed up with others that were suspicious too.

Most things can be allowed if all the higher ups agree, which in this case we did. When the map was added, I was still an admin and Bello had said the map was fine because it was artistic nudity. I still stand behind the map being completely fine how it is, there is nothing wrong with having that image on the map. We don't need to rewrite rules to make decisions like this, if anyone asks it can be easily explained. It's not ignoring our rules when our rules only concern sprays, player decals, and steam profile pictures. Maps have nothing to do with those rules and are up to the discretion of higher ups as to whether they are fine or not.

0 For now. Has shown a major improvement since his consistent spam posts. However, he does actively take drugs on the server and I'm not 100% I can trust a staff member like that. You should definitely not do that on the servers, especially if you are staff.

My friend, maf!, commissioned a bust of a Sniper set, so yeah, here it is. I did the majority of this shading in one sitting and decided against a final border outline which I did integrate onto a previous piece, but I still enjoy how this turned out. Much more pastel-like.

We decided to overhaul the current rule about sprays. From now on it is explicitly stated that avatars, customizable items (i.e. objectors, name tags, description tags etc.) and sprays are included. Additionally, we decided to elaborate on what is allowed and what isn't: Sprays, avatars and items that are able to be customized cannot contain the following: nudity, racism, hate symbols, gore, derogatory content and images of sexualized minors (this includes drawn images). There was some confusion going on and we hope this is gonna make moderating the servers a little easier for our staff. I will keep this thread open to get feedback on the new rule and answer questions in case anyone has any. One of my friends started taking weed a while ago. He now does MDMA at college and is out of it to the point where he hardly even plays one note in band practice. I don't think we get "powers" as members, feel free to inform me of anything I don't know though, I don't really explore new things, and I barely understand how the MC server works. Other than that, I don't really know if I should vouch considering I'm his brother, and the bias here is pretty obvious. He can be pretty immature at times, but he doesn't generally use the voice/chat systems, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. You'll probably basically only see him on minecraft or CSGO, maybe a TF2 server once in a blue moon. I honestly don't get why he's suddenly so compelled to be part of a group he used to barely take part in, but he must be really enjoying the minecraft server or something, in which case I'd say give him a shot. He's likely going to have major problems with vouches though, as nobody else probably knows him. Hesitant +1

I'm going to close this. I've been a lot less active on TF2 recently (to the point of it being problematic for a hypothetical member of staff, I've been and will likely continue to be busy,), and I don't really desire to have a position as staff, it's just that at the time of making this app there were severe and problematic active staff shortages; to the point of having trouble kicking hackers and rulebreakers, etc. Recently we've had a ton of well-suited people filling those roles, and it shouldn't be a problem anymore. Anyway, thanks if you said something nice, congratulations to all the new recruits!

@sick41057 I'm trying to play the demos that I recorded, but the only one that's working is the one where bless was pocketing I believe a friend of his named "headshot scott", and given that this is a ban appeal for when bless was playing sniper, it would be irrelevant.

Um yeah no there are multiple people that thought you were hacking in the past and now and now that you've shown us that other communities thought you were hacking as well, we can't just ignore that. No one is bandwagoning here we're now all suspecting that you were legitimately hacking now that theres been a second report about you hacking by several different staff members again. I think its safe to say that you are indeed hacking since this isn't the first time you were caught doing it by several different staff members.

Staying neutral for this one. Plays a lot in the server and knows the rules but his maturity as in for asking for item and sometimes begging does seemed to question if he would his powers in a fair way.
