Hey all, the title is exactly what this post is all about. For those of you who are not aware, the CS:S Servers are in bad shape. Like, bad. Very bad. So bad, that if you were to compare it to George Thorogood's " ", it would sound like " ". For the moment, this thread is merely a proposal and nothing solid will be happening just yet. What I (or rather, the CS:S Division) hope to achieve is a regularly scheduled time in which Players/Members can know without a doubt that someone will be on. It is as simple as that, no hook or hidden agenda. It will be during a time of the day (the community will agree on) every day until Servers see a noticeable improvement. Now, the whole idea behind this is that (as I mentioned) Players will know when the Server is populated and will therefore be more likely to hop on and play a few rounds. After a period of time, eventually it will become the norm and hopefully result in a group of regulars who play during that time frame daily. This is all just a theory though, but at this point there is no reason not to try. For the time being, this thread will act as a simple poll. I will remind those that this will require dedication, which may be asking a lot. Imagine, if you will, a weight lifter ignoring leg day. This average Joe then gets into a habit of not doing it, and what do we end up with? We end up with this poor soul: Damn, look at those guns. Alas, look at those legs. Looks like a freakin' marshmallow with toothpicks jabbed in for legs My point is that this is something that will require diligence, patience, and dedication. You will have to commit to getting on at that time. You don't even have to be a CT, hell, you could be that T who just tries to rebel each round even if the chances are slim. The point being that so long as there are numbers (and CTs who don't drone on with repetitive cell orders and mix things up) it will draw attention. As cliché as this sounds, united we are stronger than a single unit. I will try my best to get on at whatever time it is (should this plan go through), and I'm hoping you all will as well. To shed some light, let me explain DarkRP -Shit, We could not compete with the other servers. Not because ours is not completed, but because GMOD is full of 11 year olds that want to only kill without consequences, Aero, they go onto Modified or any other CODERHIRE.COM server which provides nothing but the latest bought scripts from a website that only kills GMOD more and more everyday by riddling it with over used scripts and no servers with their own custom content. TTT -I honestly would love to put it up, only to be saddened with the so light of how many people would actually play it. I have quite a busy sceduale and shoving me to populate a Gamemode to which their are a million of is quite difficult. The only way to populate a server that is just like the rest is to provide it with a medium amount of players for large ammounts of time, which for xG's length, would be 5 minutes of "HAHA RDMed Ya!! Wow I'm bored, who wants to go comp????!?!?" and that would be it. Morbus To which I have no consent to even write about it seeing as it isn't mine to write but going to anyways. Morbus is a dead gamemode, by dead I mean it isn't a popular gamemode anymore. It got old just like every gamemode does. There is only 7 servers of Morbus and I think only 2 are populated with not even half of its slots. That is because it is not a gamemode to keep playing over.. and over.. and OVER again because it is dull. The same shit happens over and over again. No variety, you can't make morbus better, it is a base gamemode. Anywho, that is my say of what is happening. If anyone has any questions please ask. TTT is the only gamemode worth saving. The rest should be thrown at wolves to eat, then the wolves would die of starvation because both gamemodes are shit.

So, I have a GRAND idea on how to populate the server... Alright... BRACE YOURSELF... I, but this is JUST me, not anyone else, BUT ME. I think we should demote EVERY moderator for C:SS and re pick. So like, that way, fun players, who make the game FUN wont be driven away by a shitty moderator. BUT WAIT, there's more! And by 'Fun Players' I mean people who are at least 14+. But you know, our servers are full of immature 12 year old's bitching and complaining about some person free killing them. And its not even that, its just the way you people act upon it. You say, "Ill perm you." when you have no reply. Don't you think that drives people away? And if you don't, you're obviously not fit to be moderator. Foxy is nothing to worry about. Any of the first 6 nights, if your routine includes checking Freddy's position, then switching to the cove to check Foxy, you are pretty much set. The key to Foxy is to wait for his curtain to be completely open, then check the screen right underneath it, drop the screen immediately and close the left door. After you hear the second knock, it's safe to open. The REAL challenge is night 7 at 20/20/20/20, where you literally have to close the right door EVERY TIME YOU CHECK THE SCREEN.

Replace the empty server gamemodes. For example, VSH x10. I have been looking for one of those servers, and it os extremely fun. All the servers I find are always full, so we just get some videos of x10 VSH to show the ip and it will get full in no time.

I don't know if it is possible, but maybe do it proportional to online players? Like, if the server is full, allow 3, half, allow 2, few people on, allow one. By my experiences on VSH, scouts don't do that much damage most of the time, kinda wasting one player, and if they survive till the end, and get the last player crits. They kind of delay the round in my opinion, but, well, let the democracy decide!

There is nothing I have done for the abuse I have been receiving and while I will sometimes retaliate, most of the time I have simply ignored the provocations. Something as simple as a thread discussing a small change to the one of our servers will result in a backlash of hate messages and insulting everything I say. Some members involved (Izanagi) have lied about me to other staff about me abusing powers and have avoided bringing it up when I addressed it. This was obviously an attempt to get me demoted or punished for something I didn't do. Members should not be doing this to others. (Other staff members present can vouch this happened) I would post a harmless message in the chatbox responding to someone or ShackNewsBot and some of the members would take that opportunity to attack me. While they may claim its their opinion or a joke there is no need for posting constant messages and replies which upset and harass me. I tried to improve my relations to the clan by starting using my mic, Which is highly recommended for staff to communicate on the server over text. I did a test recording responding to my ice bucket challenge, my response was degrading and upsetting by being referred to by a few members as "a 40 year old with a voice changer" Kendrick Llama proceeded to humiliate me further by adding a picture to the photoshop thread of a man with ache to the body of a little girl and said it was "kitty in real life" Whilst on the server Trade Gaming History Muzzle joined and said "Kitty may I ask you a serious question?" (the video attached is what happened next) He then asked if I had a deformity because of my voice (even though I have said many times my mic is bad and has terrible feedback) They are intent on using my own attempt to bond with the clan as a tool to abuse me with. Another staff member Bach present when Muzzle said this did nothing to help. When it was quite clearly offensive. Below are some reasons directed at members involved and their unacceptable actions. Forge: constantly calling me a bad mod, quotes almost everything I say with offensive and sarcastic messages, In game would constantly comment if I miss a shot or die, has written lies about me on servers "Kitty said you have no friends" Something I have never said. (see pictures attached) Also has spoken on servers badly about me to others while I am offline. Forge even proceeded to create a thread to humiliate me called "dumbest quotes of the year!" with which he added a quote I wrote while in an argument with somebody else, the statement was not serious and was said during an argument in which I was angry. To use something like that to humiliate someone is uncalled for. (see links) His last offensive act which I managed to get evidence of was a post he wrote in which he verbally attacked me for no reason at all, no provocation came from me beforehand, The offensive message was quickly removed but I managed to get the evidence. (see the attached image) Izanagi: constantly quotes me with offensive statements, rates my posts negative for no reason, abuses me in the shoutbox and in post comments section regularly and most recently photo shopped a picture of a man with acne on a little girls body and said "Kitty in real life" (see attached picture) Also forced muzzle to invite me to a server in which he has admin powers on just so he can instantly kick me with a message (see attachment) The only members on this server were forge, izanagi and muzzle. So I knew they only invited me to abuse me. Muzzle: Has been rude to me in game asking if I have a deformity, as well as commenting offensively in the shoutbox and in post comment sections quite oftan. (see attachments) KendrickLlama: quoted my vocal recording calling me a man and changed his status to Forge = kitty, saying I am forge and arguing with myself. His status has now changed but the offence he caused has made me regret using my mic and has hurt my confidence with using it to aid my staff duty on servers as well as general conversation. Also has been rating all my posts are "downs" (see attachments) Starmix: Quite recently Starmix got himself involved with this hatred of me. He has been rudely commenting on my posts and just taking part in the abuse others cause. Calling me a bad mod and even using examples I used in a thread discussing a server problem as a tool to attack me with. Moosty: Moosty previously was involved in a petty argument with me over nothing but we both apologised for our part in that and I thought everything was calm and friendly with Moosty again. That was until he took the time to search for images, cut out and edit a picture to insult and humiliate me. This picture was not a 10 minutes job, he put time in to it. He did not apologise until Vector spoke to him and then had to remind him 1 day later about his apology for the unacceptable image. I accepted the apology but I felt it to be forced, fake and not genuine. I thought this even more when on my last thread posted about the AFK timer on Trade Gaming History, Moosty proceeded to quote me and bring up my activity on the server I suggested, There was no need for this and It was just proof Moosty is still involved and unable to act mature. I am not in this clan for enemies. I am always friendly and helpful to others. The actions of these members involved serves no purpose in this clan. I have had friends considering joining but have seen the maturity and hate of each others seen daily. Jokes can be jokes but in this case it's not a joke, I don't believe it ever was a joke. The only cause for this hatred I can think of is a jealously of my position as a moderator or my life which I am aware has been disliked by those involved for whatever reason. I urge the CLs to take immediate action against this. Bullying and harassment is not acceptable in any community. It has become so bad I don't like coming here any more and that is not good for somebody who has been active everyday on the forums even after being declined once for age. I like this clan, I like taking part in conversations and playing the servers. But I don't like constant abuse, bullying, spite and dislike of me and everything I do for myself or the clan. Alright, I'm going to give my opinion on this matter. I knew this issue couldn't last forever and action needed to be taken. The first point I'd like to say is that kitty becoming mod is not her decision. If you don't think she should have become mod than that's an issue you need to bring to the higher ups. Second of all, the disrespect is way too high and unacceptable. The TF2 xg community is pretty much crap right now due to this conflict. Kitty has presented a lot of evidence of disrespect and I will be surprised if nothing happens from this thread. I'm not going to +1 or -1 right now, but I think that the disrespect some people are showing Kitty NEEDS to stop. Its on a much higher level than other conflicts in the past. The users mentioned in OP definitely need a warning. Last thing I'm going to say is that I honestly don't care if literally everyone in TF2 hates me for not being against kitty. I'm going to stand by my opinion.

We're going to be putting a lot of effort to keep CS:S around and populated... my goal is to accomplish everything on this list by the stated due date, although it relies on bleed and nomulous as well. As of today, this list is very tentative and has only been shown to Cristo and Dr. Lee, so I can't say that it can or all will be done, but it damn well will if there is a way. Due dates may change once I can get bleed and nomulous onto this, but I will do my best not to. Here is a list of stuff I want to accomplish though as well as a tentative schedule of when they must be completed by: August 1. Perform bomb fixes, including changing price of large bomb and overall making them more balanced. (Aug 17) Completed 2. Rewrite rules/Talk with staff members about where to draw the line (In other words, loosen up the reins a little to have some fun) (Aug 18) In progress 3. Polish Warden Plugin (Aug 21) Completed 4.
