Because I'm unaware about other division's rules, I'm making this discussion in the TF2 section of the forums. As you may or may not know, the word faggot is allowed on xG's TF2 servers. The word originated in the early 16th century and is often used in a derogatory way to refer to a homosexual man. The word nigger, commonly referred to as the n-word is also used in a derogatorily way. It can be used to identify an African American person. It originated in the 1800s as an adaptation to the Spanish word negro, a word developed by the term niger which means black. The n-word, is not allowed in xG's TF2 servers, unlike the word faggot, which is allowed. With that history out of the way, I'd like to ask my question: Why is one slur allowed but another one isn't? I'll leave it at that. I've added a poll that you can submit your thoughts. If you wish to voice your opinion in more depth you're welcome to. I'm more than happy to have a discussion about this topic. (as you can see by this post)

I hope to one day in the future to become an admin on jailbreak in this community to get rid of the rule breakers and trolls that occur when an admin normally would not be on, as well as to enforce the rules whenever is neccessary.

It's time for the official 1v1 tournament! The planned date is next Saturday, 1/5/2019. If enough people would rather, the secondary date is the next Saturday after (1/12/2019). Planned prizes are credits, custom in-game chat tags, discord ranks, and the satisfaction of winning against your friends! (Definite prizes will be announced once we have the list of players) The tournament will work as such: the initial rounds will be played on aim_map, and the quarterfinals (or semifinals, if we don't have enough people) will be played as a best of 3 on aim_map/awp_india/aim_p2k (or usp, one of those). HG first, Dukey v. Icy last) and then it moves to next tier (Bonk v. ___). In the case that a participant does not show for their match, the next match after will be played and said participant will have until the end of the tier to show. If they do not, they will be disqualified and their opponent will be automatically advanced. However, if there is an extra player that did not sign up that shows at the time of the tournament, they may take the place of a player that would have otherwise been disqualified.
