I've been talking to higherups for quite a while about this with a large back and forth, and with recent successes with community nights, I think it's finally time to announce it.
As of the 23rd of this month (3/23/19), I'll be hosting an xG Golf It event in place of every third community night. This event will entail members making custom maps several weeks beforehand that we play. I figured it would be a good way to add something to Golf It, and involve members in participation even more. Note - it's optional to create these maps, but there might potentially be a reward for it. To give people more time, I'm creating an extra gap week, hence the reason this first one is 3/23 instead of 3/16 for the event.

After tonight's Race for the Wool Community Night, which the ending of turned into a jackbox lobby, the event has proven both of the things that I wanted to see from this community. Firstly, that higherups are willing to cooperate and endorse community nights on (what would've been) our own servers, as well as the people attending willing to play the same gamemode for an extended period of time, rather than a lobby of many different games for the same period of time. Both of these things show to me that I should step up my game as a host to create an even better experience.
That being said, within the first 10 or so minutes, we received a large amount of people, which was fantastic. Due to the xG Server being down, however, I was forced to host the community night on a shoddy hosting service, which, coupled with a large player count and a great number of mobs, resulted in lag issues. Despite this, the reception was mixed between fun and a wish for a higher quality server. After an hour-long round, the remaining members and I played jackbox for another several. Overall, was fun, but there was a glaringly large room for improvement.
All in all, not the worst, but nothing to be proud of. Thank you to everyone who attended.

If a staff member tells you to stop talking about a situation, you stop. If you have an issue with how something was/is being handled, you need to privately bring it up with a higher-up instead of making unnecessary public rants such as this just to stir up more drama.

Ok I know I am toxic but hear me out here. I was banned yesterday due to pasting something about neonnepp leaving... Since when did we become so aids about offending others. It was a joke and I was bout to delete it but Chrono banned me right before I could for 24 hours. In the famous words of Aegean himself on a thread entitled racial and sexual slurs or some shit he said "We are not a SJW clan, and we are not a safe space." SO WHY TF DO WE TREAT IT LIKE ONE. People are toxic to me with the mine craft staff bullshit yet they don't get banned. People say stupid shit all the time and we say something about it and they get mad. I know I was on thin ice on discord because of the whole Chono-Pear ordeal and a politics channel. Yet also with that why was I on thin ice for trying to get justice for pear and only typing shit. All I did was type to admins and had a subtle disagreement that lasted like 5 minutes. Again speaking of ICE why is it forbidden to talk about Icy. He did the same thing we did to him when ct_slayer left. When did this community become a bundle of pussies/fruit cakes that gets offended by everything. #makexGgreatagain where I don't have to worry about getting banned off of winning an argument.

The situation was already being talked about in staff chat, you were told multiple times to shut the fuck up before you started anything. (you started something)

Since everyone and their mom is talking about it behind peoples backs and or just all over the place anywhere and everywhere, everybody already knows that pear is referencing me in this post/all the individuals he has messaged yesterday before he made this post.
If for some reason you take our back and forth banter/shit talking each other to be anything other than what I just said it was then I apologize for that, and next time all you gotta do is let me know that you're not cool with the way every single one of both our interactions with eachother has been and that will stop. but that goes both ways, I have never once been offended or take any of your "insults" personally but if you are going to take them like that then you also need to realize that I am only dishing back what I consider to be friendly insults back to you because that's how I have been perceiving our internet friendship based solely on our interactions.
 
That being said:
I would never tell somebody to kill themselves or tell them they are worthless and nobody cares about them, especially having known numerous individuals in my life that have suffered with depression and thoughts of suicide and like they would never belong or be happy in the world. The extent of the "mean" or "harassing" things I have said to you would be phrases like "you're honestly the worst person rn" when talking about being in discord and using voice activity when we were chilling in a channel and you had come in or "you're a fucking monster who uses some non push to talk shit" of which I don't understand how you would construe it as me telling you that you're a waste of space and should kill yourself and it honestly has me baffled.

That being said though the internet is not the place for you to vent your depression and potentially suicidal thoughts, xG has always encouraged those feeling like that to seek help and we have always taken a stance that after encouraging you to seek help about it to permanently ban because of liability and that it's not something that should be put on our servers/forums.
 
Lastly since certain individuals feel like they need to take what pear messages them and try to "call me out" that I'm harassing him or that I have a "history of being toxic and making people feel like shit" when they themselves are what they are describing rather than me. other than the typical trash talking and raging (which I don't normally do, 10manners and most other staff can attest to that) while in game, the extent of my interaction with pear can be found here because I don't typically talk to people in discord save for a select few that I'm not actually playing a game with:

After collaboration with @Arthman and @Aegean (big thanks), we've decided that the next community night of 3/2/19 will be on our own Minecraft server. But why just minecraft? How is just running around as a group in some barren plains biome going to be fun?
We're going to be playing Race for the Wool, a custom map designed for two teams (we'll be picking captains, 10man style), each of which have to race across their own side of the map and collect several colored pieces of wool, bring them back to their home base's pedestal, and sabotage the other team along the way.

I guess reporting a higher up staff for representing xG in a very negative way/harrasing, flaming the people around him constantly, and ban evading should be talked about under a private topic(and not the thread about harassing), here is my private topic . I already talked to @virr @LeToucan btw.

As someone who was bullied out of the community LITERALLY (@rabid @any cs member who isnt relatively new), I think I'm allowed to "give my 2 cents"

As many of you may know I'm pretty toxic in 10mans so I shouldn't be talking, but it's usually towards players who are genuinely assholes (does not make the case better I know). I'm not going to say any names or anything but uhh....wait nevermind lol, can someone please tell me why our DM of minecraft has been up for discussion to be banned from 10mans? @icy or whatever that kids tag is on here. I'm sorry for starting shit but this kid is the most disrespectful person in xG I have ever met. I get upset in 10mans over stupid shit just because I am a "more experienced player" and I totally understand that a lot of the players I play with are new, but icy will straight up just scream at new players who don't even know what they did wrong in the first place. I don't know where the "superiority" comes from in his brain because he's an average player but he thinks he's the best. I have talked to MULTIPLE higher ups about this and some are confused on why he's dm in the first place. 
The most positive response I got was "no one else would do it". 
Example -  Last time u played a scrim with us or atleast me was 2 days ago and you were toxic during the game and ended up rage quitting in the end.

Hey friends, I've been reading the posts that you all have been writing recently, whether it was people stepping down, planning events, making statements on xG in its current form etc. so I wanted to just give a few thoughts.
Staff Stepping Down
   There are never enough to say about staff who took the time to volunteer so many hours to help out xG. It is a thankless job that helps keep xG as populated as it is, due to the efforts from all our staff, whether it is new mods, all the way to the community managers. People get stressed doing this, and stepping down makes total sense as people have their own lives to worry about. School, work, mental health, and anything in between is more important than xG, so if people need to step down for those reasons, we encourage it and we will always welcome back those people with open arms if they decide they can and want to help out again.
Toxicity and Harassment
   As xG is a gaming community and the fact that we are not a private community, many different types of personalities with varying age ranges are all going to come and go. Disputes, problems, cliques, they are all bound to happen. It is also not only on staff but also members to hold each other accountable for how others are getting treated. Remember, we are all people in front of that screen at the end of the day, so please know that your words have weight behind them. If there are any issues that you don't feel comfortable discussing on the forums or with other members, you can always message me on discord privately and I'll always respond within 24 hours. Sometimes problems are just misunderstandings, but regardless I'm happy to take time out to resolve whatever problem you might have. People who intentionally try to get a rise out of others get little sympathy from me, but at the same time if you truly wish to improve or need a wake up call, I'm always here for that too.
Planning Events
   You do NOT need to be a higher-up or even staff to organize an event. I just want to say thank you to everyone who tries to figure out fun things we can do as a community by posting threads and being active on discord. Aside from CS:GO 10 mans, it's been a lot of fun playing golf-it, skribble.io, and other games with the rest of ya and I can see that a lot of you have been enjoying it too. Respect to everyone honoring the golf-it shoe pics btw on discord. If you need any help organizing an event, feel free to reach out to me or any of the other higher-ups! Looking forward to all the new things we organize as a community.

Moving Forward
   I'll be posting a thread soon about recapping what's been going on recently, and thoughts we have for 2019 in terms of divisions. It will also include getting your thoughts on what we should do, so we learn from the people who make our community so great, what they think we should implement.
