So as I'm sure all of you know I've been inactive as fuck and I think it is about time I say why couple of swears ahead So, I live in a shitty little village in the middle of fucking nowhere with my mother in a decent house. My mother had to work 2 jobs to help us to keep the house, pay gas/electricty/internet etc... I did what I could to help as well. Now, my mother's second job was a bartender at a local Masonic Lodge, it paid good money, was fun, plenty of friends and member of the lodge from around the village to talk to and have drinks with. Then the Lodge got a new Owner the fucking asshole thought that the "social" side of the lodge was taking over and decided to make the lodge members only disallowing anyone from the general public to enter and fired all the barstaff including my mother meaning she had to rely on money coming from her main job : managing the kitchen of the local primary school, which was an extremely low paying job but she enjoyed it. So cue our old ISP cutting me off and having to rely on my close friends internet connection to try and keep up with things happening, Obviously I couldn't and I am extremely sorry @Bello for having to do things for me. Now, Back in August I managed to secure a place in a Higher National Degree course in Computing Software Development and am still studying it right now. I then applied for Student Loans to try and help my mother pay for gas/electricity and get an internet connection again. So Back in approx 10 - 12th November I sent out for Sky Broadband Unlimited to get back online. I received the Sky Hub on 24th November which came in a fancy little box, the Hub is like a weird finnicky plastic gloss black box. The engineer visit to actually install the phone line was on 1st December, it went by smoothly, all the wires were there, none were broken so all good. Then he went to test the wires, They were ALL dead, no signal coming through at all, so he went outside to check the telephone pole connecting to my house, Big fucking Giant red D on it, for dangerous, meaning it's unsafe for a signal to be sent through. Engineer says that the wires on the pole would need to be rewired, some guys will come to do it tomorrow, "YOU DONT HAVE TO BE IN THE HOUSE". Cue the next day, I get a message from sky saying an engineer was unable to access the house to install the phone line, WHICH IS ALREADY INSTALLED. So the fucking engineers didnt fucking bother to fix the telephone pole when they saw I wasnt in my home despite not needing to be there. So I call up sky saying so and all they fucking say is they have to reschedule and "IF YOU ARENT IN THE NEXT TIME YOU WILL BE CHARGED" shit. The earliest reschedule they had that I would have been in my home was another week, 8th December, yesterday. The engineer came round walked in and saw that the line was installed and said "OH, THAT'S INSTALLED", The fucking person at sky I called up didnt say they had to fix the telephone pole so the engineer was unprepared. He then went outside, checked the pole, talked on the phone for about an hour and told me that it may be another TWO FUCKING WEEKS before it is fixed... SO I AM HAVING A GREAT FUCKING WINTER... TL:DR : mom got fired from one of 2 jobs, wasnt getting money, couldnt afford internet, got in college, got student loan, sent out for internet, got it installed, phone line is broken, engineers are shit sorry for no tags, I cant be fucked right now [spoiler=Also]I'm not sure if I should be temporarily demoted since I have no idea of the actual date it might be fixed, it could be tomorrow, it could actually fucking be another 2 fucking weeks

Team ban people intentionally freekilling. If people repeatedly fuck around and "accidentally" kill people, team ban them. I didn't think that it was necessary to add to the admin handbook.

So after playing tf2 for almost 4 years, I'm finally getting burnt out. I'm just not having fun playing it anymore, and my activity really has gone down. Every time I go on the servers now it feels like a chore and I'm just doing it to log hours, and not enjoying it. So I'm stepping down. I've been a mod for a year and 1/2+ and I've been playing on the servers for even longer but I'm getting tired of tf2 now and would rather do other stuff, and school is a thing too. I've met a lot of a cool people when I've been here and it's time to say goodbye. :waving: cya

Due to your situation, I don't think another demotion is necessary. I hope everything works out man and things turn for the better, keep us updated!

I was planning on coming back in early 2017, but as of this (technically yesterday) morning my computer sh*t the bed. I lost everything. 3 years of work - gone. Worst part is that I was working on Veilstone City from Pokémon Diamond/Pearl - I only had to add the interiors. Would've been a great addition to the current maps in circulation. I think I'll drink myself to sleep.

Long story short: My Amaranthine Antlers have been scammed from me. They're gone. I fell victim to the most elaborate online scam I have ever seen. I won't go into detail here, as I am too exhausted from all of this to retype everything. I have posts on SteamRep, Reddit, and backpack.tf. So I thought I'd inform you all here. bargain.tf is a scam site. The owner of the site has made off with over $7k in hats so far. Don't even think about using them for any sort of TF2 things. Hmm, I don't just ban people for no reason, especially when it comes to aimbots. However, I don't keep a video log of literally everyone I ban (lord knows how much memory that would take) so it is hard to produce video evidence, but I am usually pretty darn sure people are not playing legit when I ban them for aimbot. Now, before I ban someone I look for common tropes of aimbots, and I watch until I witness something that would be most telling that the player has something fishy going on. So if I did ban you for it I must have seen something quite obvious to myself as illegitimate playing, however I don't have the demo files on hand to re-verify so my vote remains neutral on unbanning. EDIT: Seems like I need to take an ol' trip down to the admin handbook...
