This thread has spiraled way out of control and while everyone is entitled to their own opinion, some of the comments in this thread are super unnecessary and really uncalled for. what? how does that make you feel like he hasnt improved? he is literally just defending his friend who is being publicly attacked by a guy that admitted that he is obsessed with tuna. you don't seem to realize what he's talking about. skeletal's edit was a pathetic attempt to get a reaction out of tuna and I'm happy tuna was mature enough to just ignore it and live his own life.

While I agree with your statement in a general sense, I think it's an awful idea to open up the door to, "I'm leaving because ____ got admin." or, "I don't like ____" or, "_____ is toxic." Any grievances with anyone should be compiled into abuse reports so that the problem can actually be solved. I wasn't around, but from what I've picked up, there was period within this clan where quite a few people were stepping down or leaving because of admin positions, specific promotions, etc, and that doesn't seem like a great time. My point merely is, claiming someone is toxic and having no, or only anecdotal evidence, doesn't do anything to improve the situation, and probably just heightens aggression. I realize however that this is probably not the only reason for Skeletal stepping down, and I wish him the best in whatever he does from here on out (in fact I hope he might come back some day). Nobody likes bullshit drama, but people can have issues with each other and state them without it developing into that, Tatost. If tuna is part of the reason he stepped down, that's fine, he's at no fault for stating it. I think Tuna's a nice enough guy but I'm not jumping on Skeletal here simply because he might have issues with Tuna that I've never known about. Also, if you don't want a situation to develop into a "firefight" you probably shouldn't belittle anyone by implying that they're immature or unfit for staff simply because of an opinion. tl;dr version: 1. The clan isn't Salem, and we can't hang someone off of rumor. (You know, due process, "innocent until proven guilty" and all.) 2. Tatost, why even bring this up here if you wanted to discuss it in private and "avoid a firefight"? You've inadvertently turned this into a shitstorm man.

Remember the jailbreak populate with did every Saturday and how it started off so well and just kind of died slowly? Me and @Sesh think we should maybe start doing it again but for FF2. If it's possible I would like to request that every Saturday at 7pm EST the higherups create an event on the steam group for people to populate FF2. If we do this every weekend then maybe we can get a steady population going throughout the weeks too? It'd be pretty neat if we could get this started since filling empty servers would be great. @Vexx @mrnutty12 @Basquiat @Sesh

Okay, I totally agree with you, @LAN_Megalodon. But to clarify for everyone else, the first post I made was to make sure no one else posted it, then everything blew up from there. I tried to word it carefully, but many people didn't read my posts well enough I guess, no offense. It is my fault that this blew up into almost Forest sized messages, please no one further on my retort and go back to saying goodbye to your friend.

I just find it funny that you higher ups had to wait for someone else to condemn an act before you guys say anything lmao. I mean considering people have had a problem and voiced their concerns for months while you guys haven't done shit about it. I don't have a problem with Tuna, and i hope he succeeds as an admin, and i'm not condoning what Skelly did but at the same time, i can understand the frustration of a few members and air their grievances. Also, saying someone's problem with another person as just some sort of obsession is incredibly childish in itself, if you felt that there has been animosity between two staff members, shouldn't you and the rest of the higher ups try to calm the situation down and have a sit down between the individuals? From what i'm hearing and from what i've talked to with the other higher ups, nothing gets done about these situations and this is why it's incredibly poorly handled. Also, if you feel a flame war is going off then you have every right to close a thread. i have no idea why you guys would allow a thread like this to keep open but i guess that's your own decision. Again, i hope Tuna proves everyone wrong and is a great admin but if it gets to the point that people are THIS upset about it then i feel it falls on the head of higher ups and not communicating and not calming down these situations. Good luck tuna. Skelly has never been a problem before this situation (at least as far as i know) so it's clear that something is wrong. He was one of the most level headed admins and did his job fantasticly, again i'm not saying what he did was right nor am i saying i agree with his comments.

saying reasons why you don't think someone should be staff as long as it is not in a disrespectful plain bashing/shit talk way is better on forums than private. You can accomplish so much more when your "dirty laundry" is aired publicly than private because when 1 person says something, others that feel similar then feel more open to air their thoughts and experiences on the matter. If you keep it private between the 2 of you, maybe it helps maybe it doesn't or maybe said individual is better around you so you have no reason to start complaining. Either way, he has every right to state his reasons for stepping down. Whether you like it or not because "that's my friend!" doesn't matter at all, it's his reason. The more immature one would be the person saying "take it to PM" yet coming back and making responses that I can summarize very simply to "that's my friend, bye felicia good riddance"
