i'd say use fear and force on serious issues but be fair with the others on small issues (like the uber exploit)

Sorry @Flareon , I know you're an alright moderator, but come on. xG servers aren't meant to be a place where you use terror to get your point across: the servers are meant to be for fun. Being way too serious and using fear to make people follow your orders is just wrong. If you inform them that they are breaking rules and notify them of the punishment, it's more likely for them to actually come back to the server and know fully well what is right and wrong rather than just shouting at them: "IF YOU DON'T STOP TELLING PEOPLE TO KILL THEMSELVES THEN I'M GOING TO BAN YOU, YOU FUCKING GOT THAT YOU PIECE OF SHIT?" or whatever.

People need to respect staff. If a mod, admin, DM, DL, or CL gets on, they need to say, "Oh shit!" and straighten up. Fear should not be staff's main source of power as you want to build a trusting community, but they still need to know that if they step out of line they will have to deal with the consequences.

If this goes through then the higherups should be unbanning people who were permed in past 3 months for death threats alone.

i like how CL's dont see this as a clan thing more of just let tf2 people handle it. its not like it affects other divisions or anything so fuck it let them do our work.
