There's a difference between random crits and whether a map is designed poorly or not. It's almost undeniable that this map is sniper haven and sniper literally dominates this map so much to a point where it's completely understandable why people don't enjoy this map. Random crits are an element of RNG in a fps which is usually not a good idea. Bad map design is just a map doesn't work with the fps genre, not related to RNG at all. I can see where you're coming from though and I voted to keep the map anyway because of nostalgia myself, I just want to justify the reasoning why people don't like this map.

On surf I like lullaby, tensile and telstar the most.

On TGH, I like Kakariko, Mariokart and Rusty Bucket Bay the most.

It doesn't matter if Sora is the only strictly TGH staff that xG has. I wouldn't even agree at all that there are any staff at all that solely play on surf. Owlknight, Blueskittle or whatever other staff member that plays surf often you're thinking of plays TGH as well, they just prefer to play on other servers evidently and that's fine. TGH mostly has a staff member on and if not then they can calladmin.

Bottom line is that someone playing mostly on one server doesn't make it so they won't get staff. I don't care if that's TGH or Surf.

You can be active on just one server, it just means you'll have a harder time getting further in the ranks. Take @Sora_ for example, he's amazing at staff but he mostly plays TGH, but he's still an admin because he's good at staff.

As far as I know, it's not like the word "faggot" is allowed no matter what. The word is allowed in a certain context in which you are not harassing someone. The child pointed to the biker and completely ignored the actually gay person. In other words, in this and in many other instances the word "faggot" is not being used in a homophobic context. If someone on a tf2 server is like "shut up, faggot", in 95% of the cases he doesnt use the term "faggot" to insult gay people, but instead to insult an annoying person.

Does that make it better? Kind of, I think. While I'd agree that nobody should say it, people always will and I don't think we, as a gaming community, have the power to stop people from doing that. Our regular players, yes, probably, but literally anyone who ever joins the servers? I don't think so.

People have already started to describe generally annoying people as "faggots", way before this community was even established, I believe.

However, the meaning of the term "nigger" has not changed. People still mostly use it to be intentionally racist.  There is basically no context where it would make sense to call someone a "nigger" simply because they are annoying. People haven't started doing that and still aren't.

Again, I'm not condoning the usage of either of these words, I'm just trying to explain why there is a difference in my opinion. Not to mention the argument @Elcark made last time, that we'd have to basically start banning everything from here:

If people intentionally use the word "faggot" to discriminate against gay people, then that should be a no go, but using it in a relatively "harmless" context which doesn't relate to discriminating against gay people is something different.

It was added back to rotation as a meme for some questionable reason without my knowledge. The clean version is back on rotation now but that doesn't mean that the issue should have happened in the first place. I'm genuinely annoyed about this
