Who said I was offended? Breaking the rules is breaking the rules. It doesn't matter if no one speaks up- I saw toxic behavior and talked it over with another DM as well as an admin and it was pretty much agreed upon that this behavior was unacceptable.

Using 'all in fun' as a way to cover up acting the way you all did is a really poor excuse, and regardless of who was complaining or not I saw enough while there to know that it wasn't the sort of thing that would be wanted on the servers. You don't need a lot of people complaining for something to be breaking rules and very person's feelings matter whether a small percentage or a large percentage. Even if nobody complained it still wouldn't be right to just let things slip by because of that or else we'd have a lot of people running around doing whatever they want.

I'd hardly consider half of the things you were doing or saying 'having fun' especially when a good bit of it was racist, in poor taste, or just outright ridiculing people along with those two others. You've also had a day ban in the past for trolling around before by Vexx and such. Now, I came to Pokemon because I heard from Dethman people were being particularly rowdy there and saying some really nasty things, and I managed to hear quite a bit during my time there. I even have a demo of some of it so I'll post that at the bottom here. There was more before this including stuff like "how is talking about bombing china or japan racist" or the occasional n-bomb from Fred and more according to Dethman as well, but after I showed this demo to Vexx and talked about it it was decided Fred would get a month ban and the other two a week. Some people didn't really have much of a choice since every time I see Fred on with his friends they're usually always picking people out to have fun at the expense of or creating a rather uncomfortable atmosphere. wew.dem Would also like to tag @Vexx and @Dethman to give input if desired.

The map was voted to be removed a while ago though one of the big reasons it was voted off got nerfed between now and then- namely the bison. I figured I'd gauge interest in it coming back if at all possible seeing as how a lot of people have been talking about it lately.

Yeah that sounds pretty fine to me. Using it while staff is on doesn't hurt much and does alert them to something going on, though if they blatantly abuse or are trolling with it then they should still be punished as if they'd used it while no staff was on since the intentions were there. That's what I think, at least. -

Going to agree with people saying job comes before play and a text warning should be mandatory. It's not going to kill the entire day or mood just to have to type out a text warning so that everyone has a fair chance at seeing it, at most it's just a minor inconvenience to the one doing it. There's a whole slew of reasons one could or would want to keep voices off, even possibly hearing problems, but the most I can see when it comes to why people can't just do a text warning as well is that it's more efficient/convenient or because the game might possibly be interrupted for a bit if the staff is currently the one playing as a bigger role. Maybe it is more convenient but it's certainly not as fair. Got to think of the player's side of things. The efficiency argument is even debatable since voice chat could also be very active and people might not hear you- this happens particularly often in TGH where people are talking a lot and further enforces why people might keep voices off or why text chat warnings would be more useful.

It's always a good idea to issue warnings through all chat above all else, some people keep mic chat off for a variety of reasons- this can range from anything to needing to keep their volume low, parents not wanting younger kids talking with strangers or hearing them, having company over, or simply just not wanting to hear people. They can't really be blamed for this because there's so many reasons people could want to keep things down or not hear others. Of course, as said, if they ignore you via text and keep up whatever it is and they don't respond to voice either then feel free to punish accordingly. At least, this is how I usually see things.

I might be misreading a thing here or there, but text warnings should always be given out alongside voice if people like to use the mic a lot. Some people keep voices off for one reason or another.

I'm a bit unsure myself to be honest, I've mostly just been waiting to see everyone's statements and even now I'm not sure what to say just yet. Apologies on that, guess I'll keep an eye on this and think it over a bit more.
