My one and only suggestion for the TF2 div is to keep your staff informed. I've seen time and time again that staff members are enforcing rules that no longer exist/have never existed. Before someone asks me to provide an example- "no spoilers"- I've had one too many players talking to me about how staff members have been enforcing the no spoilers rule, that was dropped just a few weeks after the release of Endgame. It's no wonder that the players bite the hand that feeds them, especially when they feed them moderation that's even worse than the medicine your mom tries to get you to take when you're a little kid.
@Tekk I don't feel like I really need to tell you this, but as the sole higher up for TF2, you should not only look at possible applicants for higher up positions among your current staff team, but among the members as well. This isn't me saying that your current staff team don't have the ability to run the servers well- just that there are probably people better suited for higher up positions among the general populace. It doesn't hurt to keep an eye open for any individuals among our members who have some potential to make the servers more enjoyable.

So recently cookie_ has come back to the xG servers, and we had a rough ending about a year ago which made him unfriend me because I was a little annoying towards him. When he came back I got onto the server and saw cookie, and there's two cookies. Cookie- will be the innocent, and cookie_ is the person im reporting.

Basically I killed cookie_ and he said in the chat, "I will tryhard on you hunter, don't test me."

So I killed him again, then he called me a pussy.(which I know is not BIG, but he doesn't stop.)

Then after a little while I leave and that's it for the first day, the next day which is today I get onto surf, and the first thing cookie says is, "ohh no its the hypocritical faggot taow, removing my chat now."
And I ignore it. Then he kills me in spawn, so I warn him and he ignores it, then I go spy and domm him, and every single time I killed him, he would say im "fucking bad" or a "pussy".

cookie_ has not dommed me once from coming back  but according to General Beast Kiro/Metal Bandit. Hes been telling everyone that he killed me multiple times and I got mad at him and threatened to ban him, when I actually never told him, "you're too good for me im going to ban you now." What I actually said, was if he doesn't stop with the Staff Disrespect, which I got a little tip from Owl, I would gag him for 30 minutes, I said this to cookie.

I tell cookie_ on his profile that he needs to chill out and stop thinking he's everything because hes being toxic and it's not right.

He then comments on my profile telling lies saying he killed me multiple times so I started to rage. He then goes on to say why are you dragging this on when it's already over,(though he starts random crap with me over 2 year old shit)

He then SPAMS my profile which not only showed toxicity, but immaturity.

He's not needed in this community as he actually states he doesn't care about it and that he would just try his best to get me pbanned. 

All I want is a removal of his permission to chat, and talk on mic. He's shown me in the last two days that he cant handle having a mic or using his keyboard to be friendly, and not be toxic 24/7.

As an added bonus, he goes off on another user for no absolute reason, which ive shown in the 5 screenshots below.

 

and..... We're back, with yet another mine craft server. I'm going to keep this post simple, and just try to note some key changes from the previous version which was factions.
 
Changed to Towny from factions Shops changed from signs to village shops, with major price changes Added A enchantment plugin adding 32 new enchantments ( A major enchant to look out for is "Divine Touch" Allows the mining of spawners) Balance reset, starting money 100$ Added mcmmo Horses, allows everyone to start with a free horse. (summoning cost 50$ and banishing cost 5) This is a respawnable horse even if it dies. You will be able to level up and get new skills with your horses that you claim /h help for more information. (Claiming a new horse after your first will cost 500$ then branch of into multiples, so your third horse will cost 1000$ to tame. I heavily encourage breeding) Spawners will be able to be changed via Spawn eggs (purchased from shop) Rarity of the mob and dependent on mob drop determines price. Added auction house via /ah command (We will have troll auctions, but do your best not to be a dick and overcrowd it. Towns are going to be a major step for players from first start. It's 750$ to find a town, ontop of a 10% daily upkeep of original price (75$) Nations on the other hand will cost 7500$ to claim with a 5% Upkeep price of original (375) so get grinding  
This is what I've been working on for the past 3 days to try to bring you guys a good mine craft experience, Do your best to enjoy it, find ways to break it(as long as you report it) and other shenananagins. 
That's all I can think of for  now, I'm going to leave you with a few starting tips;
/kit member to get a start
/h help and /h summon to get your first horse( free besides the summon cost of the horse)
Start farming, Humphrey's hemp is pretty much the only way to get money as of right now, besides /ah (auction house)
Spoiler contains all the new enchants ( I messed with the % chances on a lot of these, the Divine touch enchant has an 8%, good luck

The servers aren't dying because people are reaching endgame, that's a biased statement if you consider getting good armor/elytras endgame. Towny & Factions (if setup properly) adds extra elements to the game such as managing a town or base raiding. Unfortunately, every faction revision has ruined the server by having insane world borders which makes finding other factions an impossible task. Towny on the other hand has consistently retained population from those who enjoy building and the vanilla survival experience minecraft has to offer, but it eventually dies off because people get bored.
 
The problem with minecraft aside from botched setups is that xG lacks players who enjoy raiding or building enough to sustain the population of our servers. We're also not gaining any new players, there are too many established servers that offer a better experience than our out of the box factions & towny.
 
Mod packs is probably the right move to keep interest for longer but requires more resources and setup than your traditional spigot server setup. You also need a good computer to handle some modpacks so that might restrict a few interested players. Regardless I think its worth trying to setup, obviously factions/towny hasn't been working out so maybe its time to try something new........

Towny/Factions/Vanilla all get really bland really fast. You guys apparently never realize how quickly the population spikes then drops because you've done the exact same thing multiple times already. Way too much wait, not a lot to back it up once the server is out. You guys will 100% see a huge drop in players soon because reaching endgame in these modes is so easy it's insane. Start the server with one big mod, then slowly cycle through to fresh mods once people have run out of things to do other than sit and afk farm.

+1 has been here basically just as long as I have and is 10x more qualified to staff the TF2 servers. It's almost like I told you to apply for staff years ago...
