Calling it a troll rating is a misnomer. Sure, its trolling, but that's not the reason it was removed. It was removed because it was blatantly racist. There's a huge difference between calling something "African" and calling something "Cena'd", "Shrek'd", and "Dank Meme." Calling something "African" is wildly offensive and inappropriate, and I truly hope that I don't have to explain why. No one gets offended by getting called "Dank meme." Also, the icon itself was offensive. It was a stereotypical picture of an black person, labeled as "African". I'd say about 99% of people aren't offended by John Cena's face.

??? So you're saying someone who chooses to get high or drunk, has a right to complain about something THEY chose to do? I did not know a person got to choose their skin color, nationality, or heritage. Like I said though, It didn't offend any one, just to the wrong person it could be taken as a insult.

Who said any one was offended? we merely got rid of a troll rating, their was no point to have it, and to the wrong person it could be deemed racist or offensive, there is no reason to create drama over something for nothing, it's a rank on a community forum. This thread is to mainly address my activity the past bit, and why I was promoted to Division Manager. I would first like to apologize to all my fellow staff members for my inactivity on the servers. Even though I told OhStop that I was taking a small break from TF2 I still feel bad that I wasn't there to help much, and instead I was off doing my own things. I had hit a slump for a bit there and found it hard to launch the game at times. Again, I know it's not the best excuse, but we all have those times. Now to address my activity on forums, which isn't much better. My activity on forums isn't the greatest compared to some of our other staff members. I tend to voice my opinion more on Teamspeak, and don't post much on here. There's no excuse for how much I'm not on here, but it's not like I haven't shown my presence when it comes to major issues in the community. @kbraszzz, @Ohstopyou, @metalslug53, and @Rejects have all heard me rant for hours about topics, and they all know I can be stubborn. OhStop explained to me that I was promoted to DM because it would be easier for me. The idea is that I will focus on the forums while Merc (@Fiery8022) will focus on the servers. Merc will be there to help all the admins, mods, members/players if they need it, and I will keep up on closing member submissions, or updating old threads if I need to. If I can't get on the forums one day, then Merc can always do this as well. Just like if a staff member needs help, and Merc can't help them, then I can step in. This system just makes it easier on all of the higher ups for TF2. The only time I won't be able to hop on forums is if I have a lot of work to do for school, I'm sick and need bed rest (Like, I can't look at my computer sick), or I have real life things that I need to go to and can't make it to a computer. Other than that you can definitely contact me at any time on forums/steam after 7p.m. est, any time before that I may be busy, but I'll try to respond.

Hey what's up everyone. The Meme Machine Here, I've been around on the servers and for the most part, I've just been hanging out on the server for a couple of days, nothing much and I took an interest to the people here on the server! I hope that I get to meet all of the staff members and most of the regulars here. So far, the team here is pretty nice, for they are non-abusive, and extremely compliant with the servers needs. As a hobby I mostly like to work with tech devices and code, for anyone interested in coding, I usually work along the lines of C++ or C# but I know all forms of C, all forms of Java (including JavaScript/HTML) and Python 2 and 3. I hope to see the rest of you guys around the server and have a nice day! :) P.S: I've noticed that this forum uses a lot of the same features and the same program "ZenForo" as my old server. I for one usually have trouble finding things but this should be fine. ;)

So I'm going to step down from staff. I've been playing on the servers for three years. A year and a half of those I was staff. And the past 8 months I've been a DM. Honestly I got farther than I ever thought I would, or than most even get close too. I'm glad I got to play a major role in the tf2 division for so long and I'm super proud of a lot of the changes and decisions I've been a part of. While I was staff this place has definitely changed for the better, especially recently and I'm really glad to see that. Honestly though, I never had as much fun on the servers as I did before I was staff, When there were no responsibilities. I feel like being obligated to be on TeamSpeak all the time and all the responsibilities you're expected to do, especially as DM, for free has just made me a bitter and more closed off person on the servers. I grew to love these servers because of just interacting with people and BSing without having to take anything seriously. @Bach, @metalslug53 and I used to just spend eight hours a day on clocktown. 5 or 6 days a week. And it never got boring, because we were just screwing around with no alterior concerns, going with the flow of whoever came on and whatever they wanted to do. That's the kind of shit I grew to love xG for. And being staff disconnects you from that. I've done everything I could have ever wanted to as staff, and this place has improved in small part because of me in the last year and a half. I came here for the fun not to have a huge E-dick and a rank and power. I think it's time I go back to what made me love this place to begin with. I'm just going to play on the servers for fun, when I want, as a member of xG and nothing more. ...I'm actually really looking forward to it c: Argle Pargle bitches.
