MAC Adresses are impossible to access unless we install software in the clients pc or are on the same network as a user. (which obviously won't happen). Changing systems will not solve it and VAC will never be able to do anything unless valve decides to implement hardware bans themselves. There is nothing we can do about it and you guys simply need to be more stubborn than them on this one.

Why is this thread even a thing? You can't get his MAC Address through tf2. Even if tf2 provided a way to access a user's MAC Address they can still change it. Anyone willing to evade IP bans would be willing to evade a MAC ban. It's a flawed idea to begin with. The problem at hand is an issue that comes with any free game. The solution is not simple. If someone wants to ban evade over and over the best you can do is make it a hassle to do so. Inevitably, said solutions would effect legitimate players.

The level cap is technically 60 if you play a Force User, as when you begin your prestige (Master etc) it knocks you down to level 1 and stops leveling you on the base levels for your character, instead starting on the new prestige level. BungeeCord server setup successfully and using new control panel so FTP access and server control will be given out now. Back ups happening every hour and will setup backing up to S3 soon. Casino server is installed and will push all those relevant plugins to that server. Also need to push economy plugin to MySQL to stay shared across the servers.

You're a member of xG, not a member of xG TF2. You are free to play whatever games you want and enjoy any and all membership privileges that entail in our servers on those games. You're also free to make friends with anyone you want and potentially become staff in one or multiple divisions. Adding badges for where you are a "member" is counter productive to the goal of reducing the amount of segregation that is prevalent within our community.

Well going to spew my opinion. -1 I do not find there to be any reason to change it. If you can gain enough speed to make it to the end, then there is no reason for anything higher. Keep it as is.

I've played on skill surf and having a higher max speed would make things a lot easier for new players. on monsterween you wouldn't get stopped at 547. the limit as it is, makes things very consistent, but some of the jumps we need the max we have. so if we raise max speed, then some of the maps would be very forgiving

Recently i've been joining other surfing servers lately to see what they were like. One of the things I have noticed is that other skill surf servers have a WAY higher max speed limit while surfing. I have done some looking around into some of the most popular servers and it is the same thing, the have a higher max speed limit. Currently in the official xG Surf server the max speed limit is around 565%. Now when I have joined other servers, almost every single one of these servers had a max speed limit above 780%. For examplr one map for instance surf_horizon has a final pro end jump. Now with the max speed limit of 565% to about 640% some people can BARELY make, most of the time its only one or two people that could make it. But if you increase the max speed limit to about 750% you would make it more fun and enjoyable for players in the server because they know they can make the final jump on surf_horizon. In conclusion I would think that raising the max speed limit for the xG Surf server would be really helpful for newer players and surfers. This will make the player feel happy about themselves because they have accomplished their goal to beat the map or even beat the pro end. Thank you :3 -Benny

I have recently gotten into a conversation with [xG:M] Vacindak. He said that it is no possible to change it, he also said if you change the air accelerarion and acceleration it would be even more difficult. In my opinion I think it is possible to change the limit and keep everthing the same. :3
