Closing this thread, plugin was removed from the servers. Adding this plugin was a huge decision that was not made by any of the TF2 higher ups, and we were never talked to about adding it. This plugin completely breaks class balance, and would make most gamemodes unplayable in terms of balance.

How about we have certain items you can or cannot donate? Like you cannot give crates to the bot to giveaway. Thats just really dumb. Also if I may add that this bot just came out and there might be some bugs that need to be fixed.

We have a bop plugin of all TF2 servers now??? Good to know, lol. It would be much more convenient if we, especially the higher ups, would have been told about that.

Unfortunately this bug seems to happen when a user with the badge purchases the new JonTron badge. @Aegean could you please re-add the badge for @Thunder. Also, @Rhododendron could you please look into this issue? Thanks :emoji_smile:

I will disable low price items from being donated so non-crate items will be given away. Maybe have the starting tier be at a minimum of $0.60?

This was just poorly executed. Needed more time before being put out to the servers. It caused crashes and still spams chat from what I've seen. Noone is going to donate something worth while and the people that might have good odds of getting the same item back. I just don't beleive an item giveaway bot is the best idea, but that's just my opinion. It attracts the wrong kind of people to stick around (afk farmers and whatnot.) I just don't understand the appeal of it in the first place. Despite my opinion though it needs refining really bad becuase it is still functionally flawed unfortunately.

ok so heres some things i would like to see changed Sethome should not be member only, if we really want this server to actually get populated we shouldnt take away powers from new people on the server, and if you do want to have a reward for being member at least dont take something away from the new people Some of the signs in the shop have the "This sign is locked with magical power" so you cant buy anything from it such as the wither skele heads. Put all the alchemy things in the shop such as ghast tears and blaze rods. If at all possible extend the boundaries of the map, I feel like most everything has already been explored and it would be great if it was extended even if it was extended by just 1000-2000 blocks. Adding onto the "This sign is locked" thing, it would be nice if it was at default unlocked because i hate having to keep typing /unlock and adding them to all of my furnaces, chests, and signs gets really annoying.

This is just a thread to point on opinion on the new bhop plug in thats in every server now. Now the bhop plugin is different than the one we have in surf as in which can't continuously bhop and gain momentum, but still have the bhop for like 3-4 jumps. It was first in Surf, but now it's in every server. In my opinion I really don't like it especially in FF2 and Pokemon trade. In Pokemon the bhop doesn't really effect that much, but in its so annoying to see sniper bhop away when I launch them and try to hit them with my rollers. Also the Bhopping pyro. god just go away... ;w; Now in FF2 added theres a problem becuase I abused this bhop in a way so that I would just go in high cliffs or buildings, and when hale rages, I would bhop away as a freaken heavy. Not cool man making it harder for hale to catch people now. Idk this is my opinion and I would like to hear your guy's and gal's opinion. Keep it or Remove it? (Should have given us a vote before adding in the plug in tbh)

Wait, what? When did this happen? Honestly, FF2 shouldn't really have Bhop... Even though it could be fun, I can just forsee Hales jumping around at Mach 5...

+1 for probationary mod as well, seems quite active and fun to play with. He is also mature and has a good understanding of the rules as far as I have seen.

My friend, maf!, commissioned a bust of a Sniper set, so yeah, here it is. I did the majority of this shading in one sitting and decided against a final border outline which I did integrate onto a previous piece, but I still enjoy how this turned out. Much more pastel-like.

Honestly I don't want to be the hater but this might work better in Cs:go. Only recently did tf2 start making items marketable, so a large amount of stuff we could give away (Craft hats, metal, any misc from before they had misc crates) just won't get accepted since it's not marketable. Cs:Go has been using marketable skins for years and barely has any items that can't be bought and sold on the market. While the tf2 marketable stuff is so much harder to come by, and low tier marketables are basically limited to new players who invest in tf2 updates the last two years (hue) and strange weapons. Basically, there are far more low tier csgo items than tf2 items that would qualify, and since csgo is a paid game and tf2 isn't, giving cheap skins to tf2 players is meh to me. Otherwise it's really just finding cheap tf2 gun skins on the market just to donate, tl;dr tf2 has less than half the available marketables to donate, and the ones it does have, are not commonly laying around like csgo drops.
