Let's put this into context : I have to go somewhere during 5 minutes, right? So I godmode because the spawn throws you out of it, (I mostly play on the surf server) and I don't especially like being loopkilled. When I come back, I forget that I have godmode on until a pyro tries to set me on fire. I ain't the only victim of this though, and if you have the godmode command, it probably happened to you more than once. Don't lie. Anyways my idea was that when you have godmode toggled, there's text at the bottom that says something like "Hey, you're still in godmode!". I dunno it's just an idea.

He's one of the most active people on teamspeak, and has a great first name! If he does work on his activity I'm all for giving him mod on CS:GO +1

I WAS SLEEPING! Anyways the bans shouldn't have happened, esp without a warning. I will be adding a rule to not bump threads over 6 months old since there are many threads that aren't locked from the past and it removes gravedigging TROLLS. Edit: I agree with owl that only the first person who gravedug should have been banned, but if it was bumped by the bump thread tool then just a warning would have been fine. As it wasn't a rule to bump threads from so long ago you can get a refund on any threads that got removed that you bumped, but this day forth the rule will be in place. The other comments will be discussed with the higher ups. ~Closed

on a serious note i agree fully on the fact that i need to be way more active to be qualified as a new staff, and believe me when i say i'm actually trying and going out of my way to spend time on the servers but school is really giving me a hard time with doing so, regardless, i appreciate your honesty

I don't see why he can't do both? I also don't understand forcing staff to play 20 hours on a server if they want to play other games too, all egossi would be doing is supporting xG as a whole as staff on both divisions, instead of only supporting a part of xG as staff.

I'll admit that it sounds quite useful, I'll look into it tomorrow.

That way we don't have to worry about staff getting time in for both divisions. I'd imagine you'd have to get a compromised time between the two games. That's probably going to be a bit stressful trying to accomplish. Plus I feel that you should be dedicated to one division. It's fine to go to other divisions and play, but if you want to be staff on a different one, then you should step down and go for being moderator in that division. It just saves potential hassle in the future.

You are for sure active on the server but you should mingle more with the members of the community so that people get to know you better. Good luck and hope to see you around ;)

The 4 of you were in teamspeak together all in the same comp game after this had happened which is when i saw it, you all posted some edgy meme-lord post on the thread which was from sept 2011 and had no purpose being there. the purpose of the bump thread is to bring your thread back to the top (typically it would be a thread that is not getting as many posts as a thread in the same page). not to bring a post back from 5 years ago. You knew all too well how frowned upon gravedigging is and so does lithium, yourself for being banned several times before for it, and lithium for having banned people for it before. The reason you all were banned was because you all were there to intentionally post this garbage. and yes, if I had the ability lithium would have been banned for an hour as well. As far as activity goes, that is something that has been discussed with DM+ and Aegean, and the only reason you brought it up is to try to discredit my action taken against you and misdirect the actual point of the ban as one for gravedigging and instead as one for a power crazed person who wants to do whatever he wants whenever. If that were the case then I would have banned you and everyone that posted stupid +1s on the application for forum powers. Try asking silence for your credits back instead of literally crying and trying to find flaws in someone else because you did not get to run around getting whatever you want If you would like to make a formal protest to me as a staff member based on this, then you should have posted an abuse report considering you feel that I have wronged you that is where I would have made this thread.

Xeno Gamers He should just be demoted for inactivity though. Any other staff member that was as inactive as him would normally be demoted.

Banning the one who initially gravedug the thread is fine I guess, I wouldn't typically do it first offense, but you really aren't supposed to gravedig so it's fine. However, it's absolutely unreasonable to ban those who posted in the thread AFTER it was gravedug. It's just unnecessary. There is no way that it's appropriate for any of our staff to ban users who just happened to be viewing the forums when someone happens to gravedig a post. Banning them is simply abusing power.

yeah thats easier or you can just play normals. u dont have to play ranked. to answer your question, yes. every game that has a very competitive ranked ladder comes with people who get very upset when they are losing. its just natural, it has nothing to do with the game specifically. people are like that in other games like overwatch and csgo. LoL just has a lot of people so you see it more often. you have to realize though that there are a ton of people who aren't crazily toxic as well. its a part of playing competitive team video games that you have to deal with teammates

In my personal opinion, they should only be allowed staff in one division. If they wanted to become staff in a different area, then they should step down from their current area and apply to the new one. That's just my thoughts on it though. Egossi is a good staff member, and I've been glad to have him on the team (even before I joined xG and made my way to where I am now). He does fantastic work with the TF2 division, and I'm sure he'd do great in the CS:GO division. I'll keep my vouch at neutral, since I don't really know how to feel about it.
