2 pointsI went on undercover with the name "I LOST MY EYES", at which I saw several instances of minor rule breaking but was not punishing right away on some of the smaller stuff because I didn't want to reveal right away that I was a staff member. map changed to avalanche. After a couple rounds of hearing brady tell others how the rules work and that they need to slay themselves for this or that, and at one point when I was warden I killed a guy that went in vent. He then proceeded to yell over mic as soon as talking was enabled "Why did you kill him?!" at least like 10 times after I told him that I killed him for rebelling. he would then tell me that I had to say why I killed him or I would get banned by an admin. and that it's just how the server works and that a new person wouldn't understand, and how he could get an admin on at any time to ban me. eventually some other T told him I killed the guy for going in vents somewhere between his mic spam/disrespect calling me a stupid cuck. after that we had a war day the next round where someone was killed before war day was called for breaking vent, by me. he kept telling me to "slay you stupid cuck" over mic until I repeatedly soothed his sorrows over the loss of his fallen comrade who rebelled before war day was called by our warden. War day proceeds, he tells me I can't shoot outside or open the doors to look out, only defend the inside and close the doors to cabin on avalanche because I'm a CT. eventually I killed all but 1 T who was complaining about being stuck in the 1v100 cage in cells the whole time asking his fellow Ts to let him out. (nobody did) and so after the last guy who kept dodging around the door died I left to go see he was indeed stuck, and so I killed him, with my admin auto sniper picked up off of a dead T because I wasn't about to reveal my admin by slaying him. next round. mic is allowed and brady spams that I need to slay and that I was going to get banned by @virr who we was going to call on to the server. telling me repeatedly I was a stupid ignorant cuck, and that he can call me a stupid cuck all he want's because that along with disrespect aren't real rules. I proceeded to tell them to go to my marker a few times while jumping was restricted, they froze on it as ordered and then threw a smoke, I shot at the chest/head area of people who were jumping up out of the smoke and he then proceeded to tell me I was getting banned for free-shooting as well. after the end of the round I asked him if he was actually getting an admin on or not and he said "No, i'm going to wait until you really piss me off" I asked him if an admin was on what would happen, he said I would be banned, and I told him no, probably he would be banned for constantly saying over mic without stopping that I was a stupid cuck. he said again "no" and that he could say that all he wants becuase it wasn't against the rules. so I told him that I would get an admin on for him. proceed to change my name back to xG:DM Lifter typed out "Hi, I'm an admin!" and then banned him for 6 hours for disrespect and spam. @Brady1780 I banned you after repeatedly informing you of how disrespect and trolling are indeed things that could get you banned, and why I left the war day area, yet you continued to call me a stupid cuck, please refrain from this kind of behavior, as well as the kind of behavior you exhibited by bullying someone who appeared at first glance to be a new player on the server with threats to have him banned, and saying that "it's just how this server works, and if you can't get by on it, then you will just get eaten alive." It deters new players from wanting to stick around on our servers, and is frankly not a kind of attitude that we would like around them at all. consider this a very firm warning about trolling and being disrespectful.

yo bach, why do you come back every once in a while, without playing the servers and make a mod sub? you know in ~2 months with minimal increase in activity you're just going to make another step down thread... -

Cs:go Team!
lilbleed and one other reacted to Aegean for a post in a topic
I have absolutely no issue with us starting a team for CS:GO but please choose 5 people who will legit try to get better if you are paying them. I trust @Bleed and @Lithium with the final decision but this means people should at least try to Understand and learn basic strats (i.e. default, A/B execute) Practice and know smokes, mollies, flashes, nades, DM and watch pro players Play to improve, which may include watching replays I completely understand my knowledge in CS:GO is lacking, but I know what it takes to hit high elo in a competitive game, and you have to actually dedicate time and effort and try to learn instead of just meme. My reasoning for it as I said is because Rhodo is willing to fund it which is why I want to be strict about it. Just please take it seriously if you are considering it. -
2 pointsRegardless of how it came to this, there is no doubt that you were a great staff member and xG was very lucky to have you for so many years helping out as much as you did. I hope all the best with everything going on in your life, and don't shy away from ever participating in something that interests you in xG if you have the time.

1 pointGiven all of what @Chrono said I'd say you got off pretty easy with only a 6hr ban. Disrespect against anyone is very obviously against the rules, and lying to new players about rules and saying you're going to get them banned is very obviously a terrible idea.

1 pointBecause this is not closed i just want to add that just because there "isn't" any staff on doesn't mean you can disrespect people like that you don't see me going around calling people names on the server unless its for fun and they are cool with it like me calling sizzle a noob, this adds on to the whole maturity thing on the server the more mature the more likely we are to "like" you

1 pointWe have 2 I believe, 1 in Alterac Mountains (Alliance) and another one that the tf2 community plays on I believe. The Alliance one is pretty dead though as most of the xG kids got bored of the game, it's hard continuing a MMORPG guild when people don't stick to it enough.

[xg:m] Parasect - Team Fortress 2

I wouldn't say the absolute removal of "fun commands" from the moderator position is a great idea. I've always seen the position of "Administrator" as something the fewer people get because of the amount of work that is put in to get it or how highly they are trusted. If you decided to use Moderator as a way of just testing out people so you can promote them to admin later on, there would be a huge saturation of admins and the hierarchy of power would be really imbalanced. Perhaps we should make "Trial mod" a whole new position, and just put it below mod, giving them only gag/kick/slay/mute/ban. If there's staff that is abusing so much that you feel you should remove those powers from all moderators, maybe you should talk to, and maybe punish, the few who did abuse said powers. If this does end up becoming a huge problem throughout all the moderators though, I'd go ahead and go what nutty suggested, but don't just mass promote people because they "won't abuse the powers", Moderators are there to handle rule breakers and keep the server in line, not to use silly commands "for the lols". -

Cs:go Team!

I say we take all of the top 10 gameMeme scores from JB and Minigames, average them out, do a 10 man, and have the winning team be our CSGO team! -
1 pointThis is why we can't have nice things... I don't think we should demote on first offence, but I'd place money on you not keeping moderator if something like this happens again. @Parasect Also @Bello, perhaps we should just remove the fun commands from moderator and promote the people who we know won't abuse them to high heavens? Just thinking about it because

1 pointI had to read this like 6 times to make sure I wasn't missing some kind of hidden message to say that you were kidding. Like the other 15 goodbye threads you've done. Really sad to find out that it's not a joke this time. I know You and I probably didn't know each other too well, but I know all the things you've done for xG, and someone as influential as yourself stepping down kinda sucks. Hope you have fun with all the free time you'll have since you won't have to deal with us kids in the TF2 Division ;)
-
1 pointWell that's sad, you were always one of the nicest most understanding person in this place, we all have shit we need to do. Also i don't blame you quitting tf2, you could probably quick sell your backpack for 4 grand, however i know you're better than that. We should play overwatch sometime and get angry at how fucking bull shit the game can be.

0 pointsI can't believe how difficult this is for me. I've written and rewritten this message at least ten times now, and I still don't like the way it's coming out. But fuck it, it needs to be said. My time here at XenoGamers has been amazing. I've made some very strong friendships, made some very fond memories, and helped build this clan into something astounding. If anything, pride is the strongest feeling I have for where xG is at today. I'm proud of our little community. I'm proud of the people who are leading it in the direction it is going. And I am proud of the growth we have made here in our tiny little corner of the internet. With all of that being said, it is time for me to hang up my coat. Ladies and gentleman, I am hereby announcing that, as of now, I am stepping down from the role of Clan Manager here in xG. No tricks. No memes. 100% pure honesty. Some may be wondering why. And to that, I can only say that I have accomplished everything I set out to do, specifically with the Team Fortress 2 division. There was once a time where my assistance was in dire need, and I provided it to my fullest abilities. There were many problems that needed solving, and someone such as myself was required to find the solutions. The time for my assistance has long since passed, so now it's time to turn in the badge. In all honesty, the higher ups are super crowded right now. With the return of @Aegean, our higher ups are in excellent hands, and I honestly feel like the responsibilities of our CMs is spread waaay too thin among us all. So it's with no remorse that I depart from this point, because deep down I know that after I leave, we will continue to operate under some great leadership. And to be quite frank, since we have gotten to where we are at, the desire to play Team Fortress 2 has dwindled heavily. In the day, I find myself wanting to play less and less. It's almost at the point where I am considering selling off my entire inventory, and when someone with a near $5k backpack is considering cashing out, that's a pretty strong indicator that the desire is depleted. Not only this, but with other distractions in life, such as new games to play, responsibilities to oversee, and people to connect with, Team Fortress 2 simply is not a priority at this time. I love you guys. I love this clan. And I honestly feel that it deserves much more than what I am giving it at this time. I have no desire to pursue the game any further. And as much as it hurts me to step down, I feel like it is something I have to do. Please don't think this is me abandoning the clan. I'll still be around. I'll check in occasionally, perhaps hop on a server every now and then, and I'll still be here. I just won't be the guy people turn to to ask questions or ask for help. Thanks for the memories xG. See you, space cowboy. =)

I have co-owned 2 other servers in gmod darkrp and administrated 3 other servers as well but they've all shut down due to the owners having either issues with life or the server interfering with life or they just didn't have enough money to keep the server going. *This was before I join the surf server*. -

-1 pointsI've made a lot of tough decisions ever since I got DM then obtained DL then finally CL/CM but none of them are harder than this one I'm stepping down from CM to Member and will be removing my own powers shortly after posting this. Since @Aegean came back everything has gotten way better and there are no longer giant retarded shitstorms to take care of. @Bello has control of the TF2 division and is a great DL so no real problems there. (Besides valve forgetting about the game) @Lithium has a solid grasp on the ever growing CS:GO Division and @Bleed is his guardian angel. It would seem a good amount of people want me to step down now and I shall oblige them. I have been here for four years and I don't have the time or the passion anymore I much rather do something else then play TF2 or CS:GO with what time I have. I'm not active on teamspeak because most the people I enjoyed have left I only really come on to see @Vector and that is still not often. I'm not gonna make a huge list of tags because you know if I hate you or not. It was a fun run while it lasted. Goodbye.
