The pose the woman is taking is a common pose used in art like this. PG - 13 is entirely subjective, as the idea of PG - 13 as drastically changed over time. Honestly, if you find this image at all erotic, I would seriously be concerned for you if you walked through an art gallery. Most things can be allowed if all the higher ups agree, which in this case we did. When the map was added, I was still an admin and Bello had said the map was fine because it was artistic nudity. I still stand behind the map being completely fine how it is, there is nothing wrong with having that image on the map. We don't need to rewrite rules to make decisions like this, if anyone asks it can be easily explained. It's not ignoring our rules when our rules only concern sprays, player decals, and steam profile pictures. Maps have nothing to do with those rules and are up to the discretion of higher ups as to whether they are fine or not.

To do quick checks of someone with a sign or decal applicable item. Do a steam report by pressing F7 and choose the players name, reason for report : Item Decal. You can scroll through all equipped decals the player has. If you find something then let them know to change it. I've used this technique multiple times.

i have a lot more than 14 hours on xG too. i've been playing for a long time now on xG. i have most of my hours focused towards xG surf server.

can you be more clear in your question in the poll? I'm not sure if what you're asking is to remove the map or make the rules more transparent.

0 For now. Has shown a major improvement since his consistent spam posts. However, he does actively take drugs on the server and I'm not 100% I can trust a staff member like that. You should definitely not do that on the servers, especially if you are staff.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA!!! Remote Desktop is horrible for it, I would 100% rather use my crappy laptop, which I can at least pull 30 fps on. On Remote Desktop I pull like 15 and a single mouse movement pulls me 1080 degrees.

To clarify, we don't expect our staff to literally check all items/avatars at all times, but if staff happens to see an inappropriate avatar/item name/objector or is told that a certain person has an item that's breaking our rules, they should take action. Also, you're still Gaming.Dylan! :rage:!

So basically we have a map on TF2's Trade Gaming history that has a full body image of a nude woman, tits, bush, minge and all, and our staff has been allowing it because "it's artistic" well I looked at the rules and they said no nudity and to keep it PG-13, So I'm confused as to where I can find this "If it's artistic nudity is allowed" clause in our rules. I won't post an uncensored image, since nudity on forums is banned artistic or not(LOL it's almost like that's the rule), but here's one with the naughty bits covered by sprays, though it's clear what's happening under said sprays. The image in question is not in any way striking an erotic pose, and the picture is obviously used in an artistic from. It's a rough sketch, not anything close to being "highly detailed" nor even possibly showing any more than really needs to be shown. Keep in mind, this is a far stretch from pornography, so calling it porn is not exactly the way to go about it. Hotel Hell has a pixelated porn magazine and we allowed it because it's literally so small that it's hardly noticeable nor does it make that much of an impact. You would've been better off making a "remove hotel hell" thread since that is more closer to pornographic than the image on Cyberpunk. Edit: But if you guys really want the image removed, I can ask someone to simply remove the image in Hammer.

I'm a little surprised you're still going on about this Moosty, but you know what you have reason to, given that there is in fact no clear clause as to what kind of images are allowed in maps. Anyways, I like cyberpunk, and I'd like to see it stay. I think a clause which allows nudity in maps, provided it's artistic, is great I think not allowed any nudity in maps is just as great, provided we can simply remove/cover/replace the image in cyberpunk. Finally, "Should we either remove 2_A or be more transparent with exceptions to rules?" as a strictly yes or no question is kind of a scam. What if I don't want cyberpunk removed, but think we should be more transparent with exceptions to the rules, which I do. :p

No, punish the same as always. Though real CP is something entirely different, I'd go ahead with perm banning if someone does spray that, and even with that being said, that does go into real world law territory and we would probably have to do a lot more than just a ban.

We decided to overhaul the current rule about sprays. From now on it is explicitly stated that avatars, customizable items (i.e. objectors, name tags, description tags etc.) and sprays are included. Additionally, we decided to elaborate on what is allowed and what isn't: Sprays, avatars and items that are able to be customized cannot contain the following: nudity, racism, hate symbols, gore, derogatory content and images of sexualized minors (this includes drawn images). There was some confusion going on and we hope this is gonna make moderating the servers a little easier for our staff. I will keep this thread open to get feedback on the new rule and answer questions in case anyone has any. -1 I don't know you personally, but there are a couple points if interest which have swayed my vote. 1) If you're often, or even at all on drugs while moderating a server, you're not moderating it at all. I don't see how you intend to live up to the definition of moderator if your judgement is clouded. You'd be a lose cannon of a mod, and that's simply unacceptable. If this info is outdated, you're clean now, and @Kypari is misinformed, then my deepest apology for the confusion. 2) You have only 14 hours in-game on xG servers. While this is decent, I'd like to see more experience in-game from any moderator. There are certain things you can only learn by playing, and I'm 99% certain that every xG staff member has tenfold this amount of time in-game. 3) The lack of effort you put into application also speaks to how much care you would put into actually moderating the servers. Not only are all the "i" 's not capitalized, but things like "not all the time are admin" just make it seem as like you don't care enough about actually putting effort into what you do. Mods who don't put effort into what they do, are simply not good mods. Sorry, man. (n)

So I've been playing on the surf server for a reasonable amount of time; maybe around four months. It's great to meet all the amazing players that we have joining and enjoying playing on them. Also, I enforce the rules a lot on here to prevent any disturbances. If I ever see any sign of incompliance among one or multiple people, then I'll resort to calling any of the staff in order to have it dealt with. Although I've never been staff on servers of huge communities, I think I could create a fresh, new start and pace myself to take responsibility of keeping things the way they should be instead of having them out of order, possibly leading to temporary chaos.. ..or something. No, I'm saying If we have a rule against porn we should be consistent with it, not allow porn sometimes If people like a certain map. If we allow exceptions, the rule should say we allow exceptions.
