Since there wasnt a poll for the last thread made and it was added even though the majority of the votes were negative, heres another one! Poll with be open for a week. Vote YES if you want the map to be removed. Vote NO if you want the map to stay.

So here's a little something thought up by @Natsu to hopefully convenience some people. Basically the purpose of this thread is to have all the maps on our servers accessible as single compressed files as opposed to downloading the maps one at a time whenever joining a server. Hopefully it serves as a more convenient way for people who don't frequent certain servers as much to not have to wait extensively each time they join or the map changes to be able to play, and instead can just have all the maps beforehand. This was considered especially for staff who haven't frequented certain servers when responding to calladmins. Anyways, if you have any thoughts or comments let me know, I might try to keep the files up to date as maps are added/removed and maybe do other servers such as zombie fortress. Feel free to let me know if any of the files are screwed up or missing maps. Otherwise, if you think it's a neat-o thinga-ma-jig be sure to give a thanks to our man Sora, and if you think it's a stupid waste of time, I at least had fun doing it (even if uploading the files killed my wifi). It's a shame to think that this thread would even exist after how overwhelmingly negative the previously was received. It just comes off as the communities opinion holding absolutely no value.

Hey guys. Some may have noticed my hours on TF2 have dropped well below the threshold for what is considered acceptable for staff. I have just lost the urge to play TF2 and with me only interested in playing DR anyway there is little more I can offer the division at this time. So I think it is best for myself and for the clan that I step down from my moderator position on TF2. I would like to put my full focus on my job as Minecraft DL and that takes most of my attention over being able to find that couple of hours a day to throw into TF2. I just can't handle both right now and would like to only focus on my more important role in the clan. I have enjoyed serving the TF2 division and can see DR is well looked after with the current staff regularly playing there. Thanks everyone and hope to see you on Minecraft! (y)

I've been reading your posts on here and I gotta say, You have a very biased opinion yourself, as someone who is claiming Tatost is getting a biased vote considering he has friends in the higher up portions of Xg(y) As for the conversation with Skeletal, I can see how you feel he was harassing him, but it feels like a fairly moot point, Skeletal was being a bit of an asshat, especially how he chose to act like a small child rather than man up and realize he was insulting someone just because he could, even knowing how much people would be upset with that. There isn't anything fun or respectable with making fun of people, if you hate them or love them it's still rude I'm not best friends with Tatost, I haven't known him for more then about 2-4 Months, but I wanted to say I definitely didn't think he was 14 when I first met him, he was mature enough to be enjoyable to play games with, I'm not hugely active on TF2, but I'm extremely active on MC and I've worked side by side on things with Tatost before, and never encountered problems. I think Tatost is mature enough for the Xg community and a valid person to be reinstated as a moderator, He acts maturely in my encounters with him, is enjoyable to play on servers with, and is gently insistent enough to make me want to launch and play TF2 after not touching it for a good year or so +1

Now I think you did fantastic as staff Skelly, and could do so again. To me you were an incredibly valued member of surf which is a server i've always felt has needed it's own dedicated staff (at least more so than other servers) and the "surf team" could really use a bolster as of late. The issue is the way in which you left came off as a lack of dedication to the position you held at the time. Now there is nothing wrong with taking a break from the game by any means, you should never push yourself do to something you don't enjoy. It does still create the appearance of your position having been something of lesser importance to you, and the issues you had with tuna made the whole situation seem significantly more petty, menial, and altogether unnecessary. I was excited to see you still playing the game fairly often after you stepped down with it really only seeming like a week or so that you actually left the game for. That being said, this made it seem all the more likely that it wasn't really the game itself that had led to you stepping down. It just seems as if your position wasn't something you valued highly, and it would be a shame to see you treat it poorly again. It has only been a little over a month since you were so promptly ready to step down, which doesn't seem like much time for you to have had a "change of heart" about holding a position as staff. I wish you the best of luck Skelly, and I'd love to see you on the staff rooster again in the future (and I'm sure a number of our surf regulars would as well), but due to how easily you seemed to give up staff before, it's going to be a -1 from me for now.

I like the map. I just don't like the sleazy nature of the edits. To go this long thinking sylux made it is very sad, but we should get permissions from the actual maker. +1 for removal.

-1 I like you, you are friendly, fun, and I have nothing against you personally, so please don't be offended by this or take it personally. You tend to be a bit immature from time to time, you are overly silly and hyper at times and tend to spam (name changes and light chat spam once in a while). You are a decent staff member, but you need to learn how to moderate better first along the lines of whats allowed, whats not and finally what you are allowed/not allowed to do. You just became a moderator not too long ago, give it a good while before you apply for administrator, get more experience as a moderator before considering taking the step up. ;) Nothing wrong with a chill, fun staff member but you kind of break the rules when having your fun.

Once again, I have nothing but respect for what Tatost did in this situation. Unlike 90% of this clan, Tat did confront skeletal directly instead of shittalking him in some discord behind his back. If you see that as harassment, then uh, fair enough.. I'd however like to mention that not confronting people directly alienates xG and just causes new flame wars and drama because people separate themselves into groups. You should also notice that these are private messages that were probably not meant to be given out publicly. If you wanna call him toxic, please substantiate your claims by showing when and how he has been toxic on our servers. And once again, stop mentioning Rejects, he has nothing to do with this. It's not like Rejects was not promoted because he's too immature, it had completely different reasons that I personally don't entirely agree with but the majority of our higher ups still deem him unfit.

@Giraffes I don't want to argue too much and I'll try to keep this as respectful as possible, but I disagree with most of your points. Many people lied about it. All of them have received their punishments. This happened around three months ago and he deserves a second chance. Ever since then Tat and his group of friends have been reporting all of ManlyDucks accounts to me. What does Rejects have to do with this mod submission? He has been a member for a month and a regular for around a year. He has shown a lot of commitment and dedication towards the servers. It is completely @Skeletal's right to dislike tuna and to deem him unfit as admin, but the way he did it was wrong. It was not constructive at all and he should have done it differently if anything. No offense to Skeletal right here but I think that's something we can agree on. If someone makes these kind of posts then people are gonna react to it accordingly. Tatost felt like the way Skeletal expressed his thoughts was wrong and spoke out against it. You do realize that @Kyuubey is the person who Tatost "harassed", right? I don't think @Aegean and Tat are friends. And I'm 100% sure @ThunderLimes and Tat aren't friends either, yet not even the legend himself ThunderLimes gave him a -1. A change from what? That one comment he made on Skeletal's thread? Don't bring @Rejects into this he has literally nothing to do with Tat's mod submission. I have applied to Amazon Logistics and my start date is pending. My hours are "most likely" going to be 1:00AM - 6:00AM Sunday - Thursday and on [[saturday I have college (starting September)]] My activity should not be affected, but the time frames that I come on might change quite a bit. I don't see it affecting how many hours I am on the server. Just wanting to put this out there so it doesn't seem like I dropped off the face of the earth again because I probably won't be on the servers as late as I have been normally and usually more people are on later times. Donated: No Information: I'm kinda tired of being on servers and then someone starts breaking the rules, making a call admin and having no staff come on until I manually ask a staff member to join. I was previously a staff member here on xG not too long ago. I had been trying to do my job to the best of my ability with thing such as school and other things going on in my life. I've been waiting for staff to start moving on to all the servers instead of playing a select few as Pokemon is rarely ever staffed. This sort of problem makes things really chaotic, yet the problem hasn't really been seen to. The staff that I see come on Pokemon from time to time would be @Spoopy @Elcark @Thunder @Kypari and @TheSupremePatriot, and possibly a few more that I forgot to name. My previous problems with a certain user (part of the reason I was demoted) was settled. We're both cool with each other now. I don't really know if people still hold a grudge against me for the situation, and if some of you do, please try and talk it out with me in PM. Should just give this guy a warning, no point in jumping straight to ban even though his behavior is quite awful.

Staying neutral because of the almost immediate 180 turn in attitude, basically making it look like "stepping down because of 1 guy, wait can i have staff back." From what I've seen, he's a good admin but it feels too soon.

+1 Never had the problem with him being immature(?) as I've never sensed that he was in the first place, even before and after the incident that went down. I honestly think he mature enough to become moderator and when he was mod, he was very good at answering calls and dealing with them. He's always been a really cool guy imo so GO TAT :D

I had no idea that @Sylux never made the map. Not cool taking their map and putting your name on it. Just because it isn't finished doesn't mean its up for grabs. As stated before, it doesn't look like you did much at all. You were saying you were fixing some bugs and we never got an updated version of the map. I'm surious as to if you did anything at all besides the music boxes I think. But honestly I would +1 for removal. Ive played the map before and as stated before, it got boring for me.

Tatost was never banned for 2 months, he was kicked out. His application follows our guidelines that state the following: I'm not sure what you mean by "way he does things". about that I've pointed this out a bunch of times and i barely ever got a straight answer and if I did, i dont remember any, but why do mods not have access to perma ban in the first place if they can just /ban person 99999 "REEE-zun"? I think one answer i've gotten was that it's sort of like a checkpoint and any major ban a mod is issuing goes by a higher up first, but in the case where they dont have a limit, they can just ban someone for 900 years can't they?

I was hoping that I didn't have any degree of shit storm on my application but I'll set things straight. My private messages to Skelly only exist because he flat out called Tuna, one of my best friends, "the toxic king". Whether anyone is my friend or not, whether the OP cares about the aftermath, it's still wrong to do that. Sure, I had added him and asked him plenty of times to apologize while his only excuse was "you were kicked out for harassment, stfu kid." But I was just trying to stand up for a friend. Did you hear the part about my feud with Isabelle where three of his friends stood up to me? Like Bello said, I thought what Skelly did on his goodbye thread was childish, hence why I said "you're acting like a child, and that's coming from a 14 year old." TL;DR: Giraffes, what I thought Skelly did was just as bad as what I did to Isabelle. But I've sorted things out with the people associated with my demotion, yet I haven't gotten any chance to talk to Skelly. And I really hope to do so soon.
