    Congratulations to those who were promoted this Promo/Demo! This is a reminder to those who have newly gained access as a Moderator to leave your STEAM IDs posted below in the comment section below to ensure the distribution of powers as soon as possible.

    Discord is also now a requirement to staff, make sure you're in it!

    Regarding @Sparks

    Last Saturday the higher-ups got notified that @Sparks had joined another community's game server and got permanently banned for racism and inappropriate behaviour. This is completely unacceptable behavior and in no way anything xG as a community strives for. @Sparks has had their membership revoked and will be unable to apply for member for the following 3 months. They have also been banned for a week from all xG servers for their behavior.

    A staff member hacks and is still eligible for staff? Rather instantly gets it back? Yet another person who gets banned and unbanned, goes for staff, doesn't get it because it is deemed too early, 2 months and 2 days

    Each division operates differently and has different standards. I can't say I understand why at all this promotion happened for minecraft with all due respect, but there's a reason why red's app hasn't been closed yet. 2 months and 2 days for someone who was permed too

    Hey guys, I'll clarify a few things for everyone, and @Arthman can chime in when he has a chance.

    First things first, although Rhododendron and I can provide input, accept or deny any promotion if we have enough reasoning, we generally allow the division leaders to make their own decisions on their division. Arthman gave reasonings to why he believes Yadingo would still be an asset as mod to the minecraft division, and wanted me to trust his decision.

    If @Kypariand the other TF2 staff for example gave me reasonings for a certain person to get promoted or demoted that I personally might not approve, I would 9/10 give them the go, as I trust their judgement which is why they are in the position that they are in the first place.

    @Caribou staff applications being open means they are still being considered, and I am not a factor in the case you are referring too. Minecraft will always be ran fairly different compared to CS:GO + TF2 due to the difference of responsibilities, player counts, and what constitutes helping.

    Regardless, I completely understand people's frustrations, and apologize for the error in my judgement for approving it. I will just like to clarify @virr and @LeToucan told me it was a bad idea, so it was not their fault at all. I will talk to @Arthman but we will most likely demote @yadingo from moderator for the time being, as we do care about the community's opinion and I do agree it was unfair. 

    Once again, I appreciate you all voicing your opinion, even when you disagree with decisions higher-ups make, as it helps us improve as a community.

    @yadingo was reinstated as a moderator (under probation) due to the amount of help he was while we were setting up the server.

    He also is very active and knows how people should behave on minecraft.

    I understand how odd it is , but I had a talk with Dingo about what happened. I do not approve of cheating but the issue has been resolved.

    If you have any arguments you would like to add regarding this, feel free to contact me via discord, and I will take them into consideration.
