Xeno Gamers Once again, Player(s) being banned with excessive ban times when a day-ban for the same rules broken never previously occurred on the Player's record. Not going to provide a vouch, but Higher-Ups need to clarify on whether this is how ban times should be stacking or not. With that said, would also like to recommend a new set of punishments to deal with Chat and Mic spam for Servers that have this feature; ideally revoking the user's Chat/Mic privileges via Comms ban for a pre-determined amount of time depending on the severity of the case before escalating to a Server ban.

I remember when our CS:S Division Leader (good ol' one-two Ponch) went awol and turned out to be in jail. Good times, goooood times... I also remember when we could comment on posts.

I remember when "Late night JB" wasn't some deemed time period of "relaxed rules" it was just the chill ass homies like @Forest @Duke @Cristo and myself would just chill and have fun around the hours of 12 midnight - 5 am PST

now that donator packages are finished and fireworks are enabled again the next things I am going to be working on is an event hub with arenas for various events tbc. on top of that there will also be work beginning sometime on a secret project which will involve a fun additional way to obtain (and lose) credits, more on that at a later date! I will be posting various updates about the upcoming event hub as it gets developed, so stay tuned.

Would be nice to be re-clarified. I'm having doubts myself whether I'm doing things right sometimes. I personally feel that nearly all rules should be linked when it comes to ban times so that someone doesn't come on the server and break multiple different rules and being banned for an hour multiple times and to avoid confusion amongst staff. I agree with this! If someone is micspamming it would make a lot more sense to do: Warn -> 30 mins mute -> 60 mins mute -> Day mute -> Week Mute -> Month Mute -> Perm mute Or something along the lines of that.

I remember when we were on tinychat with the old fags when we were all around 16 - 17 and I was streaming omegle, and I was able to get other teen girls to put shoes on their head and say that warriorsfury has a small penis. OH yeah, and after I got warned by a twitch admin that I can't stream omegle, legend gave me one of his alt stream accounts, I streamed on it under "Minecraft Madness" and the same twitch admin said "really...". Needless to say I got IP banned + every single account that Legend and I made were banned in one go.

I don't know how to word this any better, but I'm gonna take off once again. Sadly I can't give a better reason but I'm just disinterested and tired of most of the crap going around. I'm just going to deal with it now instead of later in the year. I've made my choice and I'm just stepping down to member for the final time. I had a lot of fun supporting xG though, thank you all for that.

If you get banned, you obviously did something wrong. Doesn’t matter if it was mic-spamming really... You broke multiple rules in general. It does add up as it shows you don’t care about the server rules and will just do what you want.

Xeno Gamers Ban History You've been warned and muted a few times for similar things: Xeno Gamers There were no objections in admin chat so I just went through with it. The reason why I muted you first was because I didn't know if you had a ban history or not, so I decided to just go straight ahead and ban you unless other staff had any issues with it after I saw your ban history. I definitely warned you before and @TheSupremePatriot can definitely testify that too.

-1 30 minute ban; You can wait it out. I appreciate your honesty though. We have a rule that is "No Spawnkilling/Spawnhitting” This ranges from and is not limited to “Hitting, Shoving, Airblasting, Bonking, Jarate/Mad Milk, Tickling etc.” Please keep this in mind when your ban expires.

With so many people vouching for him it's hard to believe that his mass free kill was intentional, +1 for the ban but also read the thread Overhauled TF2 Jailbreak Rules | Xeno Gamers in order to prevent anything similar from happening.

tbh he only tests some plebian game like FIFA. and he doesn't even have friends anymore because of it... We never see him anymore. :(

Work indirectly for EA as a contractor (working for VMC). Long-story short, I'm a Game Tester (QA); though it is actually a lot more demanding than it sounds. Honestly, for an Entry level position, it has a lot of perks and is really worth all of the time and effort; not to mention you work full-time right off the bat (5 days a week, 9 AM to 5:30 PM). And with the experience you gain, it also greatly increases your chances of being hired directly under EA while fleshing out your resume. My only grievance is the pay, but I imagine I would be saying the same thing if I were working anywhere else. Pros: - Stable position depending on the team you are on - Access to an on-site outdoor Soccer pitch, Volleyball court (sand), Basketball/Hockey court - Access to an indoor Gym (work-out area) - Permitted to bring your dog into work to keep at your desk all day, every day - Access to several areas with free arcade game setups - Numerous areas to gain experience in to build up your resume - If you're egotistic, your name in the Credits of whatever title you are working on (Triple-A titles like Battlefront, FIFA, etc.) Cons: - Low income, comes with the Entry level position - Access to aforementioned areas requires a monthly subscription Been working there around 3 years now, and I can definitely see myself making a career out of this field of work. Hoping to work full-time directly under EA though!

I remember when JB was popular enough to require 2 servers, when FF2 was still VSH, when we had a Hidden server, and a Smash server, and a Dodgeball server... And of course when @Bach, @Forge, @kbraszzz, and @Rejects would join VSH and make it much much more entertaining

I agree to this, Gustavo is a valued member and would not intentionally break the rules. I have had no issues with them and I don't expect to have any with them at all anytime soon. I feel that an honest mistake was made and that he will not do it again. +1 for an unban.

I remember playing with multiple people on TF2 Jailbreak and every single round without fail @Vector would unmute himself and scream "TURN DOWN FOR WHAT" and everyone would just charge at the guards. Was funny as heck (y)

I'm gonna have to genuinely agree with this, like i stated in the private discord that some people reading this are on, i find it extremely unreasonable to not peruse warning a person when you know they may have not heard/seen it, it's essentially being banhappy and is poor staff behavior. Once there was a random guy who got on jailbreak and was mad about how worse he thought the jailbreak community had generally gotten. So he got on blue and mass freekilled, I warned him and everything then he asked me if i was an admin which i was at the time, and he was clearly waiting to be banned, but instead i started talking to him to ask why he was mad and he explained and i explained to him where he was right and where he was wrong. After the conversation ended he made a geniune apology and said i could ban him since he wasnt planning to join again. And that i think is how staff should try to handle situations rather than going "LOL he fucked up this time /ban @person 0 "toxicity, disrespect" cause otherwise you're being more counter-productive to the server generally than you are being productive. just for the simple fact that the communication in general with brian was poorly established, i will +1 this thread for either the duration of the ban being reduced to a reasonable amount, or it being removed entirely TL;DR - The situation was poorly handled, the length of the ban is unreasonably long

Well I did a bit of looking with his steam ID, this is not his first chat punishment it is in fact the 10th on record. He also has 2 previous day bans, so given his history I would be in favor of a week ban. Also, afaik we still have the votemute/kick/ban functions if nobody is responding to calladmins. Alternatively you could client-side mute him.

However, I find it really odd that "spawnkilling" also includes smacking people with a candy cane. No kills, just smacking people in the enemy spawn with a candy cane. I'd never spawn camp but this is, uh... *shrug* ... strange.

my app didn't go through because back then i needed like 15 people and 2 admins to +1 me or something like that, and i also got buried with the rest of the apps.

Not true at all, Rejects was cut way more than enough slack because we were friends with him, he actually abused his powers to add invisible attributes to his weapons multiple times
