There has been a lot of confusion on how to deal with Donator abuse, so the TF2 higher ups have discussed this subject and we came up with a little something: What counts as Donator abuse? Breaking our guidelines/rules on Donator powers that can be found here: Donator Information | Xeno Gamers Someone purposely misusing Donator powers is not allowed, an example would be killing people with noclip. However, I expect our staff to use common sense to determine whether something was intentional or accidental. Let's say someone buys über Donator and wants to test out his powers. They use /kartme and accidentally bump into another person. In situations like these, where someone was obviously just having an accident, it is not necessary to punish them. Try to explain the command to them to prevent this from happening in the future. Then again, if someone who had Donator powers for quite a while just charges into enemies with /kartme, they should be punished. Now let's get to the interesting part: How to punish abusive Donators: The protocol in these cases is: Warn -> Kick -> Day Ban Kick -> Week Ban + Removal of powers If they're abusing for the first time, give them a warning through chat and tell them what they've done wrong. If they do not listen, kick them. If they come back after a kick, you can ban them for a day. If they come back after a day ban and abuse again, you do not have to warn them again. Jump straight to a kick. If they come back after a kick and do it again, ban them for a week and notify the higher ups so we can remove their powers. A few things to add: As mentioned earlier, you shouldn't follow this protocol when someone accidentally screws up - it has happened to everyone. Additionally, it does not matter if someone has been banned before, this protocol applies for Donators regardless of their ban history (unless they have been banned for abuse before, obviously). To make it more clear, here's an example: If someone has a day ban for bodyblocking and abuses their powers, do not kick them and then jump to a week ban. I have applied to Amazon Logistics and my start date is pending. My hours are "most likely" going to be 1:00AM - 6:00AM Sunday - Thursday and on [[saturday I have college (starting September)]] My activity should not be affected, but the time frames that I come on might change quite a bit. I don't see it affecting how many hours I am on the server. Just wanting to put this out there so it doesn't seem like I dropped off the face of the earth again because I probably won't be on the servers as late as I have been normally and usually more people are on later times. Higher-ups : If need be, delete this thread and just keep this info noted. Let's not be too hard on him, he obviously seems apologetic and regrets what he has done. However, I'm neither re-opening this thread nor unbanning him but it doesn't seem like he gets why he was banned in the first place. @neonref it's not micspamming that got you banned, it's the fact that you left to dodge your mute. So here's a little something thought up by @Natsu to hopefully convenience some people. Basically the purpose of this thread is to have all the maps on our servers accessible as single compressed files as opposed to downloading the maps one at a time whenever joining a server. Hopefully it serves as a more convenient way for people who don't frequent certain servers as much to not have to wait extensively each time they join or the map changes to be able to play, and instead can just have all the maps beforehand. This was considered especially for staff who haven't frequented certain servers when responding to calladmins. Anyways, if you have any thoughts or comments let me know, I might try to keep the files up to date as maps are added/removed and maybe do other servers such as zombie fortress. Feel free to let me know if any of the files are screwed up or missing maps. Otherwise, if you think it's a neat-o thinga-ma-jig be sure to give a thanks to our man Sora, and if you think it's a stupid waste of time, I at least had fun doing it (even if uploading the files killed my wifi). Actually I've never had problems with any donator before. The real problem I've seen very common is They didn't read the donators rules first. Most of our donators are valued members and they know the rules perfectly Well and they don't want to lose their powers so I think they are going to follow our rules however nothing is perfect, probably someone is going use those powers to break our rules so to avoid confusion we need to record and Give then the last warning in chat and voice chat after the week ban +Removal of powers because they are going to use the excuse of admin abuse and we need proves. Put yourself into the donator's shoes they are going to fight for their powers so most of them are going to use the ban protest or in the worst case admin abuse report to give their power back. I agree with Bello's protocol we need to think in the future and how they are going to act after losing their powers.

Hey, at least you're stepping down to focus on helping out on a division. That's really commendable. Still hope to see you on DR every now and then though :D

You mind if I add a link for the Gamemode Rotation server when I finish adding maps? It's just for Murder now, but I'll post more maps for the other gamemodes when they change and keep them updated

After around 15+ hours of work spread across a month or two, it's finally complete. This was a pretty elaborate 1:1 piece commission for Skelly. It depicts requested Pyro and Engineer sets alongside the Skyforged skin for Cross of Brawlhalla. Feels good for this to finally be complete, it was a lot of shading work. Also this was my first piece to include more than one figure, so stepping it up from one to three was a bit of a leap, especially for a 1:1 size ratio. I tried to keep the shading similar between the three figures in this piece, but I have a habit of rapidly changing how I shade across a quick amount of time, and this took quite a while. Hope y'all like it.

Except it's not because I use >!colorme normal to remove the translucent effect. People would only know I'm friendly if they shot me and realized I didn't take any damage, or I shot them and they noticed they didn't take any damage. I usually takes them like 5 seconds for them to realize the trick. That's still OK?

Something I like to do is use the following commands: >(Change class heavy, no items or cosmetics (except fists of steel) !friendly !colorme normal !resizeme (200%) !robot Essentially I look like a giant robot who's attacking people, but I'm actually in friendly mode. Now, because of how big I am, and keep in mind I'm not translucent like I would be normally (colorme normal). It's loads of fun to make people thing a giant robot is shooting at them when I'm really not. Technially, I'm not breaking any rules and I've done this with staff literally right in front of me (and even fooled @sick41057 :P). Now, I just want to open this up for debate, because as much as I like doing it, it does have some questionable parts to it. 1) I'm a giant, I kinda block people's sight lines, especially on smaller maps. 2) People actually think I'm attacking them (until they realize they're taking no damage) 3) Basically, I'm a distraction. Now, while many donator commands are meant to be distracting and cosmetic, I'm a giant!! What do you guys think? Is this still OK or in a gray area or should we disallow it from now on?

Hey guys. Some may have noticed my hours on TF2 have dropped well below the threshold for what is considered acceptable for staff. I have just lost the urge to play TF2 and with me only interested in playing DR anyway there is little more I can offer the division at this time. So I think it is best for myself and for the clan that I step down from my moderator position on TF2. I would like to put my full focus on my job as Minecraft DL and that takes most of my attention over being able to find that couple of hours a day to throw into TF2. I just can't handle both right now and would like to only focus on my more important role in the clan. I have enjoyed serving the TF2 division and can see DR is well looked after with the current staff regularly playing there. Thanks everyone and hope to see you on Minecraft! (y)
