Team Fortress 2 - Steam Charts nothing has really changed. People who are gonna play Overwatch have stopped playing TF2 long ago. Plus now that Valve is actually releasing huge updates for TF2, it finally might breathe some life into the game :D

The people claiming Overwatch will kill TF2 have clearly never played Overwatch. The game is so radically different from TF2 that it's laughable to think it'd be considered the TF2 killer.

So Overwatch is finally out and I have to say I do enjoy it. I don't get why people think it's the "TF2 Killer" or "TF2 Clone" when it really isn't. It's very fun playing with friends. I have played it on PS4 once, but I like it a lot more on PC, but that's just my opinion. Who do you guys like so far or want to get better with. The characters I enjoy the most are Pharah, Junkrat, Tracer and Mercy but there's other Heroes I do enjoy playing as well. See you in Overwatch!

Honestly, I can see why people think it's the tf2 killer. There are multiple classes that seem straight from tf2 in some way or another, however that being said it doesn't play that much like tf2. However, that doesn't mean its instantly gonna kill tf2, now maybe if it was f2p then MAYBE it would have a shot at it, but considering the amount of time tf2 has been around says something, and a brand new game won't be able to take it away quite that quickly. I've played my fair share of team tf2 and overwatch, and I quite frankly don't see tf2 going anywhere anytime soon even though overwatch is hella fun. I like playing genji and hanzo mainly. They both fit my playstyle quite well, and well Reinhardt because charge+shield = demoknight.

I got CT banned for a week for a false free kill and multiple accidental mic spam. False Freekill: August, Nick, And Whyfy - Counter-strike My ban has been extended falsely because of this. First off, there is no video proof of me killing them because they didn't type kill in console. Plus if you listen hard enough you can hear them breaking vents. I killed them because they were in vents. Infact there was only one t in the vent cell and two more jumped in but I did not want to free-kill so I did not shoot at them. When I shot at them, all three of them were in the vent that lead to armory.(they broke the vent(all three of them)) Mic-Spam: Their is no evidence on the forums just OJ and Chrono: I do believe I accidentally mic-spammed but, I don't feel like I was giving the correct form of awareness to my accident. I'm aware what mic spamming is, I also believe that I hold my mic down as soon as the round starts but, OJ and Chrono disagree. It would be nice to get my ban shortened due to the extension was for my false free kill, and also I think the server should expand to have a warden-ban for accidental mic spams. So as far as my honest belief, tf2 and Overwatch are defiantly comparable as they are both games in the same genre and Overwatch was clearly influenced by tf2, and I also believe that Overwatch is a much better game as far as the game itself goes, but everyone seems to forget that tf2 is significantly more free then Overwatch. Like, at least $40 more free. Poor people can play tf2. Poor people can't play Overwatch.
