4 pointsNo need to be so rude bro, i don't see anything wrong really with what they said, they just wanted something clarrified that reiki said that's pretty hurtful. Does he have every right to make a member submission? Yes, but everyone else has the right to point out the problems this individual conveyed. Throwing insults at others because they have a point and want it explained is sad. Also with that said, I've had problems in the past with reiki past but i do agree he has improved. I wouldn't mind him being a member, but i want Reiki to understand that what he says has consequences. +1 A:8 M:7

Gambling Shmekles And Server Items On Trade_masscc Mini Games And Spy Crabbing

sounds good, I do love community events and minigames for prizes. I have hosted lots of different types of events too ranging from fashion contests to soldier/demo katana duels. and yes only ever do these events when there are staff present and they have given their authority to middleman and/or judge the event. I would say no, mainly because if someone does not play fairly or does not give prizes it can only lead to drama and shouts of scamming on the server which not only makes the server look bad but if there are new people playing it could put them off returning if they see xG as a place full of scammers. I highly recommend these events and gambles take place only under staff supervision at all times. -

1 pointMy back has been in a lot of pain to the point where it has been rather unpleasant to sit up for long periods of time, especially in a computer chair. My back is starting to get better so I should get active again in at least 1-3 more days. It shouldn't be any longer than that, if it so happens too... then this reason stands I will be active on the forum for the next few days but probably won't be up to sitting at the computer. I will return! ValveTime™ x3 @Bello @mrnutty12 @Sesh @Rejects @Vexx

Gambling Shmekles And Server Items On Trade_masscc Mini Games And Spy Crabbing
LucehMcellion reacted to Vexx for a post in a topic
Personally I think this entire idea is a bit silly to really be taken seriously. People could already gamble their credits/items before, so there's really no need for this thread. You shouldn't gamble without staff online as, people can run away/scam others through gambling. Personally, I think it's fine for you to set up games and whatnot, but you can do that on your own time, no point in making this thread. The Trade Gaming History server is almost always full of people, if you want to do events on there just ask people to join. Another thing, even though yes we have permission from MassCC to use their map, it just doesn't feel right to me to be using their map for gambling purposes. If there are specific events you would like to host though, like a giveaway, feel free to message a staff member to help you. -

Gambling Shmekles And Server Items On Trade_masscc Mini Games And Spy Crabbing

I would definitely love for this to be a feature in masscc, that's the whole point of the map besides playing an endless deathmatch. But again as it has been stated before, we need reputable people to not only host the event but organize it as well so others who just decide to be a tumor don't ruin the fun. This can work but it would mean that staff are going to have to play a big part in it unless it's someone that even staff, specifically the DM's and DL's can trust. That being said I don't necessarily think it has to be like that, I just believe that's how it would work best. If we can organize events like this again I'm all for it. -

Also when you say variable what do you mean, as if you're doing this over the web you should enable encryption with a self-signed certificate. -
1 pointSo apparently staff doesn't know how warnings work on the servers based on recent incidents, so I'm going to go over how warnings should be issued. A normal warning: You tell the player through All Chat (which is just a single @ before your sentence in public chat) OR Voice what they are doing wrong. If the player does not acknowledge when using voice, give them another warning through All Chat, before punish them for their first punishment. Quoted from the staff manual: Warn, then slay/mute (sometimes optional), then kick, then ban [WSKB] Players should know why they were punished When you punish a player, make sure to let them know why they were punished so they can improve. Example: Person Y freekilled person X, you slay person Y and respawn person X. You need to tell person Y why they were slain. Something like "You were slain because you freekilled person X." works. How past warnings work: If you warn a player for something in the past and they do it, don't immediately jump to banning them. Depending on the amount of time it has been since their last warning for the incident, you may need to warn them again to remind them not to do it. 1 warning per week is good enough for someone who is repeating the same offense. If you feel the person has committed an offense too many times you can jump to a kick. Now keep in mind, you can skip warnings for certain things. An example of this would be: Hacking, micspamming music, exploiting, etc. Generally if you are unsure what to do about a situation, feel free to ask a fellow staff member. If you're still unsure, please look at the staff manual here: TF2 Staff Manual (Everything you need to know!) @Bello @Sesh @mrnutty12 @Rejects Feel free to add on to my post if you feel I left something out.

1 pointI think used ftplibpp a while back, its pretty simple to use.

1 pointA few years ago something similar to this situation happened in xG. The minecraft DL Arthman was using a plugin on the server to put enchantments on his gear in order to gain an advantage against other players. Now, I don't know all of this logistics of tf2 but this sort of abuse is unacceptable and one of the reasons as to why Arthman was demoted despite his very successful division. From my understanding rejects has lied about this in the past and continued to put buffs on his weapons with the assistance of his DL powers. This pretty much brings up two problems. Rejects can't handle the position of Division Leader and any power that comes with it. Rejects is not to be trusted if he has lied about this in the past and proceeds to only come clean once he has been caught (which can be seen as some sort of damage control). With that being said, +1.

Yeah I remember seeing what supreme posted. I also remember your last member submission didn't so well with people -1ing you and changing their +1's to -1's and with that recent status of your's I honestly don't think you should truly be in this community of ours without truly knowing if you would stay in a positive manner because those -1's from before and these statuses of yours aren't really showing that you want to be a member of this community. It's a -1 from me. -
-8 pointsHello??? If he wants to become a member now he can you fricking buttwipes. People can change their minds at any given moment, stop being so quick to the draw there and POLITELY ask him why he applied again if he said he wasn't interested. Give him a chance before you start saying "oh he said this a long time ago xd -1 lol" +1 for me, hasn't been a butthole recently, his attitude is improving towards other players.
