Yu__Narukami 0 Posted December 12, 2012 So my ISP is apperently changing my main internet to saterllite internet. I need peoples opinions on this, because I have never used it before. I was promised faster internet speeds and to regards of gaming a really good ping but I can't really trust my ISP when it comes to promises of my internet speed or even ping for that matter. So xG, is it good or bad?
McNeo 3 Posted December 12, 2012 Satellite can sometimes be faster, but it usually uses dial up as a back up. It's susceptible to interference from weather just like satellite TV, so don't expect to do much gaming on a heavily clouded day.

Duke 85 Posted December 13, 2012 Idk about Satellite Internet but i had Satellite TV And your biggest problem will be terrible weather. But then again i only lost TV during solar flares and it was choppy during heavy wind and rain. Buti hear the internet is about the same.

Well I'm in Germany so I don't have Excede. My ISP is T-Com (or T-Mobile as it's called in the states)
