Credit Shop Bug - Purchasing Error?

I was playing on the server all afternoon (about 8 or 9 hours) trying to rack up some credits. I needed 500 to buy a different color name, and I had to start from 0. Anyways, after I got my credits, I went to the shop, bought the color (Azure, by the way) and I tried to test it out in chat. Didn't work. Left and rejoined the server, and tried again. Didn't work. Left my computer for a couple hours and tried once more. It still didn't work! I don't know how or why this happened, but I'm very frustrated.

 

I tried asking for help on the server itself; all I got were the typical responses of "F off" and "We don't care". Frankly, I don't mind the ignorance of other players, but what I'm really mad about is the fact that I spent all afternoon farming credits to no avail. If a staff member (or anyone for that matter) could help me resolve this problem, I would be forever greatful. I really want that awesome colored name... :(

Ohhh lol have you tried using /inventory in chat? You have to equip it in your name colors section for it to work

From !hub, select "inventory", then equip them from there.

Ignore people like that. They're just assholes.

EDIT: If they're being really horrible, just get a member of staff on. If you ever see a member of staff on, add them. I'd definitely add anyone who was a regular if they needed help.

Oh and by the way, which server were you on?
