He seems to be hacking on the demo @CappyCappy has submitted. Additionally he was advertising hacks, trolling and disrespecting other players, which is something that xG does not condone. No offense to anyone who +1 rejects for being "great staff" or whatever but I completely disagree. Rejects was not great staff. He abused on multiple occasions in different ways, such as the obvious stat changing, adding random plugins without consent and muting the entire server because he was sad (no vote either). I can hardly call that "the best staff in xg". We can't just push these aside either and say "other than that he was good" because that's like a crooked cop who deals getting called "the best officer" despite if he enforces the law better than anyone else. On the other hand Rejects has been around in the community for a long time and obviously worked up to DL in the past. I think it's fair to give him probationary mod if anything or maybe wait a bit longer since he does have experience. -1 for mod +1 for possible probationary mod

Is there really that much to discuss here? While screenshots can provide context, by no means should they alone be substantiated enough to warrant a permanent ban for hacking, especially when the screenshots aren't even that credible provided the following facts: It's common to camp a corner Audio cues from behind the wall Tendency for a Player to be behind said-wall Facing the direction that the user will be shooting I'm sorry, but screenshots of someone facing a wall when it just so happens that someone is behind it does not equate to a permanent ban for wall-hacking. With that said, while not relevant, the accused even has 1,811 hours recorded for TF2 on top of 382/520 achievements which is something to consider; anyone hacking could just as easily create a new Steam account and play TF2 as it is F2P without worrying about their main account facing any sort of ban/suspension. Now I'm not saying that the Moderator wrongly accused the Player, nor am I saying that the Player 100% did not hack. All I'm saying is that there just is not enough given here to warrant a permanent ban for hacking, which is why I'm going to +1 for an unban. TL;DR - Players should be treated as innocent until proven guilty; not the other way around. Evidence is not clear enough to warrant a permanent ban for hacking.

My +1 for unban was strictly on the basis that screenshots of walling is not enough evidence, unless of course it's Oscar showing that he personally has walls when protesting ducki. (Shoutout to the old boys who know that @Owl @Rabid @Klure)

officially -1ing him as well. not only does it look like he was hacking, it is also very self-evident from his chatlogs that this guy does not belong onto our servers. I would urge our staff to take demos in the future so we don't need to have threads with 10+ pages (y).

From the demo cappy provided. You can honestly have an argument that he is hacking, it's incredibly suspicious when he snaps to an AFK scout behind a wall. It's also the way he snaps makes it all the more suspicious. Personally, i am support that shining is using some sort of aimbot and wall hack to track players. -1 for unban because i believe he is hacking from the demo provided based that he snaps to a player behind a wall, even if you knew he was there, there's no reason to snap to a player behind the wall. Also even if the evidence to ban him for aimbot/wall hacks isn't sufficent. i believe keeping him banned is the right thing based upon he's advertising hacks and he's very disrespectful from his chat logs, and from personal experience in meeting him. He also is a very disrespectful in the demo saying slurs and just trolling. ntgete.dem

11 MINUTES IN I am changing to a -1, your attitude has been awful, and as said trolling/advertising hacks is not allowed, this is shown in the GENERAL MOTD, so rules that apply to all xG servers. Not knowing/understanding the rules is on you, and you were warned many times to stop with the binds, but didn't stop. You're also awful at lying.

That's from the day you got banned. Regardless of if you were "dared" or not, you still did it. I'd say something about following friends off a cliff here but don't think it should really be necessary.

+1 for user to be unbanned and taken into prioritized monitoring by staff members just to make sure he indeed wasn't hacking if he ever is caught hacking, perm him, easy and simple

But after reading further responses, I have changed my mind, although the screenshots do show suspicious activity; it is not enough proof... as mentioned the chat log doesn't help their case but still... +1 for unban and a warning for the hack binds

Going by the screenshots, you can't really tell much. For future bans like this, Spoopy, you need to record a demo. You'll just get situations like this if you don't. Anywho, I'm just going to throw a shot in the dark and give this a +1 for an unban. If you look at the second screenshot, Spoopy provided, you can see the barrel of the sniper rifle. Giving Shining the benefit of the doubt that he indeed has a good perception in-game. And let's be honest. How many times do people go to a "sniping" spot, die, and go right back to the spot? Whenever I'm on the servers, that literally is the case. It could easily be that Cappy got predicted multiple times. And lets say the guy actually was hacking. If he is unbanned, comes back, and is dumb enough to actually hack again after a "get out of jail free card"; staff should record the hacking and follow up with a ban.

Regrettably the screenshots don't show anything clearly. You could have very much pooked around the corner before he zoomed in and they were taken, or he could have just been looking at the wall by chance. As SUSPICIOUS as they look, they are anything but solid evidence

Alright I knew this would come up eventually, but I'll be honest here and respond with my input. I do consider rejects a friend as he welcomed me into the clan a few years back, but I'll respond with honesty instead of a buddy buddy bias. Following rejects' demotion from DL there was some time where he had entered a passive aggressive hostility period where he made snarky comments about staff members and uphold an ego of his achievements as DL. I find that he also went through a very depressed stage and to be frank, was an emotional train wreck on servers and even in general he would get pretty sad over real time events as well. I do agree that he was a good staff member when it came down to diffusing situations and managing servers, however due to the severity of his demotion I can't give him a +1. We have to realize that he went from a very high position, and steeped very low. If your demotion was not as severe as it was I would consider giving you a +1, but the time between now and your demotion has only seen very little improvement in behavior. That being said I'm gonna have to -1 your moderator submission, but I will +1 for the idea of probationary moderator. If you can uphold your own emotional being and past attitudes as probationary moderator then we can determine your validity as staff again. @Sesh @Vexx @Kypari

1. I wasn't using the same spot. I used many different spots across the map. 2. Getting killed by me and other people on the server repeatedly in open areas isn't exactly good in-game perception.

I might accept that he wasn't walling IF this did not happen this many times. The other two images shows he keeps on finding me in different hiding spots, all corners. If you check the kill logs, MOST of his kills against ME was direct HEADSHOTS occuring in these odd corner locations. Also, keep in mind that we're not talking about a 16 years old competitive player here but rather a 10 years old. I seriously doubt that he could "make an educated guess as to where the head of his target would be." Seeing his k/d ratio on gamE does not support your analysis either.

If someone can post the combat log as additional evidence it would be much appreciated. @virr @Elcark @Aegean
