It isn't possible to depict whether you're afk or not, as one could sit in spectator watching spawn for spawn killers, watching ramps to make sure engineers aren't building on them, etc., etc. I believe Supreme's idea is just flawed because of that time rule. No offense, Supreme. Giving staff the power to have a longer limit on the afk timer in hindsight, doesn't seem very fair to the players who may be trying to join. Keeping the afk timer to the normal time limit should suffice. And before someone comes at me and says "but servers aren't fun when staff isn't on, players can troll just enough so we don't have much evidence against them!" The best solution to this is to give staff members a priority over other players, only to be used if there is a call admin triggered on a full server. Giving them a longer time they can just afk takes as much space as a player without staff sitting there afk.

That would encourage staff to idle to pass the time rule for keeping positions, my best guess without checking the thread is about 12-14 hours is that rule. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

ian going for staff???!!!?!?! You're mature most of the time, mature when you need to be at least. You have been on the servers for quite a long time, but your activity (from what I've seen of you around the servers) is semi-spotty. You're really fun to hang out with when you're on, so I don't see much of a problem with you getting staff. +1, if you get staff your first action is to type in all caps NUT when you punish a player.

+1 for a ban change, not complete removal of a ban. I have extreme doubts that this guy is actually telling the truth about his brother story. As you can see by his ban history, I've banned him twice and one of those for the exact reason "trolling". Vector, Sesh, Thunder, and I have all banned him for trolling. I do agree that jumping to a permanent ban was uncalled for, as it didn't follow the normal procedure hour>day>week>month>perm. I just think you guys shouldn't really trust the story of "oh my little brother did it, not me! I have no proof but believe me people!" Also trying to impersonate admins, yet again.

Okay, I totally agree with you, @LAN_Megalodon. But to clarify for everyone else, the first post I made was to make sure no one else posted it, then everything blew up from there. I tried to word it carefully, but many people didn't read my posts well enough I guess, no offense. It is my fault that this blew up into almost Forest sized messages, please no one further on my retort and go back to saying goodbye to your friend.

Do something about it if you care so much about it. But there was really no reason to post this just to try and get a reaction out of him. This was extremely immature of you to say, man. It makes you look more childish than me. When you go staff, I barely knew you, and still I don't know you at all, but I have decent idea now. I'm sorry you had to leave on such a distasteful note, next time keep it to PM.

Honestly, just get rid of v1b or v1c, some people like b3 and I myself enjoy playing on v1b/v1c because both are easier to run my game on (my pc blows :[ ) V1b = no secret room (frewie's room (frewie is the creator)) b3 = the only one that has the secret room V1c = same thing as v1b, but night themed. And to clarify, b3 is the oldest one out of the bunch, b3 was built by Frewie, and v1c and v1b were created *I think* by someone in this clan. Otherwise, the guy was the one who created Kogane and Enju City. Again I am not sure of this myself, but none of them are on the workshop as of right now which confuses me so I cannot solidify this fact. If it is possible to change the poll, or close this one and open a different one asking "Which theme would you rather have for the classic goldenrod map? V1b, or V1c?"

type "record fix;stop" in console, that should help. If that doesn't work, make sure you're running TF2 in dx9 if that helps.
