Hey guys, most of you have probably already noticed that I have started playing on xG servers again. I've gotten to a point in school where I can handle being active on here and keeping up with my studies. So, you will be seeing me a lot more. #2011

By the way, when she originally asked for sponsor, I had asked her if she would like any benefits and she never once mentioned that she wants to pay for powers, or an easier time getting member or just being considered member etc. She also said after she decided to sponsor that she will "work her way up" to mod if she can get member back. Her being sponsor is not in any way her trying to buy her way into the community just to be clear. My +1 doesn't count as I can't get on servers but she always lets me know of rule breakers and asks for staff whenever there's an issue so she's definitely worth having as a member in my opinion.

He told me to "Shut up you piece of shit", so I called admin on and @Egossi came on to handle the situation, as there were multiple players using slurs. The guy was extremely hostile and started yelling. After Egossi muted and unmuted him to explain the rule(s) and situation, he left. Right after Egossi left, Kiask called Egossi a shitty admin and called me a pig shit for calling an admin on. tgh.dem

you're just pants on head retarded. its open for community input and will be closed if the OP requests or if given a position, or its an old ass thread and we want to close it and tell them to re-apply later. there really is no time limit per say.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Staff Submissions don't really require a certain amount of vouches. Vouches just count for how people feel about the OP and helps the higher ups decide if they want to accept the application or not

Egossi used some pretty brutal language, but when staff is trying to figure stuff out, it doesn't help when other people are screaming into their microphone. I would have done the same thing Egossi did. The thing is, Snowy was a pretty good staff member when SHE was with us. She is quite observant of everyone on the server(s). Sure she is a bit extreme with the rules, but everyone reacts to things differently. So someone called Snowy a squeaker, and you went with it to harass her? I don't think that's really a cool thing to do at all. We generally cater to all ages on the server. Regardless if they're younger/older, male/female, or just have higher pitched voices in general. We want all people to be welcome on the servers, and this stuff generally drives them away. I'm still +1 for a day ban. @mrnutty12 rate this post agree or disagree after reading Kiask's defense if you are still for punishment, or have changed your mind.

Snowy did the right thing here. She saw someone was breaking rules, and called an admin on. It escalated, so she made a ban request. There is nothing wrong with that. If Kiask disagreed with the ban request, then instead of him harassing Snowy further, he should of came onto the forums to give his opinion on the matter. After watching the demos Snowy had provided, I can foresee Kiask receiving a ban for a day due to this. That's about the only punishment that seems justified.

he shows all the qualities xG strives for in spades. In addition, he is a great friend with a wonderful personality. In my opinion he would make a wonderful addition to the team. +1

All though I love seeing new staff and you seem capable of the position, a few things I'd like to point out. that kid is actually one of the most annoying people i've ever seen on tgh, i tried to settle things down and he talked over me so i muted him for 5 minutes, he started complaining in chat, i said i was gonna unmute him after i was done speaking and so i did after i was done talking, he apparently started shit talking me behind my back after that and completely kept on going, if so a ban is required imo and idk yet since snowy says she uploaded the wrong demo just now +1

Rofl why even mention such a thing with that tone, he's clearly been here for almost a year regardless, and some people apply for mod after a few months of being on the server considering it's not a requirement to be in the servers a year+ for a mod app. It's a mod request and if he's been here for 2 years or even 10 years, it has no reflection on if he would be a good moderator or not. Why not just let the people who see him and play with him comment about it instead? I wouldn't even mind if you mentioned how long he's been in our servers and corrected him if you had also talked about if he is a good member in our servers or if he would be a good mod but instead you leave with 0 input, and just call him out on something so trivial.

We don't do apps for admin. apps are for moderator and if you are deserving of a promotion higher, based on activity, how much you contribute, your abilities as a moderator, your decision making process, your ability to work with others etc. Closing thread.

Seems kind of weird to me that right after you get sponsor you apply back. Don't want to be rude but, I don't think buying your way back into the community is a good thing to do. Who knows, maybe I'm an idiot.

For applying, you just need to be patient. I had to apply 3 times before I got in, and it was worth it.

It's so much fun and it's nice because it's very laid back and there's no rush.

joined forums a year ago, servers were non-populated just shy of 1.5 years ago... how was it over a year, maybe 2? more like barely a year.
