If we even got a partially functional copy of the old version moved over it would be nice compared to lacking it entirely now but im not even sure if there is anything besides that still needing to be made. In terms of appearance though the new forums are deffinitly much easier on the eyes to navigate than the previous version. The old forums appearing like a hardly tangible cluttered mess kept me from trying to understand them at all for awhile but this more modern appearance so to speak is much more user friendly to new comers.

Ok guys since the aquatic update is out its time for me to get going and get everything ready. A couple of pointers firstly I have been unable to identify suitable staff to work with me, however I do have a close friend of mine working with me to build everything but all the configurations and what not will be solely down to me. My friend may be joining as official staff if everything goes smoothly as he is an xG member already so we will see how it all pans out. So right now the spawn area will be made, I plan to put the server live whilst the spawn town is still under construction (as with only 2 people this will take a while to build it as has been planned) so expect no stores and other planned features available on launch. But since towny needs currency for players to form their towns there will be a placeholder npc in which he will buy certain resources from you whilst the actual economy is set up properly (no cheap diamonds, diamonds WILL be worth something this time) So with that said expect the server to go down soon until the new one is all ready to go, I will try my best to work on it as much as I can but I am just a single person with other unrelated stuff to do so it may take a while (sorry if it does). The current map will become available for download as did the old towny map. Hopefully I can keep posting updates here when work has progressed somewhat.

This is a very hard post to make. Please remove my membership status from forums, discord, etc. The main reason I'm leaving is because someone like me, a member who proudly wore the [xG] tag for so long and was a former staff member to boot, shouldn't be representing xG. What happened is I was saying some stupid stuff (like, really bad) on YouTube comments* I regret and am very sorry for. Someone recently brought them to my attention (I forgot all about them). I was immature, and, well I guess I've changed since then. I feel really really bad about them. *Don't bother looking for them I deleted my channel I want to say sorry to @Tatost and anyone else who may've been affected, and also one last time to @bagggel for something that happened awhile ago where I was also immature in the Minecraft division. But there's another big reason I'm leaving xG; I just got bored of it. I rarely find myself on xG servers anymore, and as such I'm not very qualified to partake in forum discussions so that's out too. I guess there's just not much here for me anymore ? I just can't find the words to express my gratitude and love of some of the amazing people I've had the pleasure of becoming friends with here. It's been such a gift to have met such wonderful personalities. @ClassicGamer64 @Natsu @Krampus @virr @Aegean @Chrono @YeEternalTuna @Kypari @CappyCappy @Egossi @ael_fjordling @shwash @TBOHB @Caleb956 (and these are just the people I feel closest to, you guys rock!!) xG has no doubt led to me growing as a person and it will always hold a special place in my life.

The old look is "outdated" and this is completely coded from @Rhododendron from scratch, I don't think implementing the old version would be so easy for the time being after how much he's changed this one. I don't mind getting people's opinion but I will most likely say it's gonna be a no.

over the course of using Xenogamers forums for 7 years now, I can say change is not a bad thing, but people will always have issues accepting the changes though, just be happy the community has survived this long and the forums are still active, i cant say the same for rival communities back when xG first started. I do miss the ability to change my own username which was a feature back in 2011-2012, and i do miss the profile music, right now the forums to me do feel incomplete, profile settings are just a mess to navigate and i feel like there is little diversity for profile optimization. The forums are much easier on the eyes than they used to be, although at first look it can be confusing to navigate, but once you figure it out its very simple and easy to find what you're specifically lookings for.
