I vote Cowboy Bebop. I only watched the first episode, but the writing was fantastic, the dubbing was good, and the animation was the most streamlined and excellent I have ever seen in my life. I could not see any of the traditional animation shortcuts in so much other anime. We need to watch it.

Kyparty, Teacage and the other guy on bass are really fucking good. The female singer sounded like she didn't want to be there on low volume, and the drummer needs to refrain from doing a line of cocaine before the show.
