I believe the general consensus is that unless it is explicitly mentioned in the Hello/Goodbye thread [that the Player/Member is "leaving the clan/community"] they are otherwise just taking a break. Because, let's be honest; 80% of people who say they're leaving end up coming back time and time again to begin with Needless to say, Higher-Ups should consider the fact that a Staff Position isn't a 'welcome back' basket for those who repeatedly leave and come back whenever it benefits them the most (not implying this is the case, but still ought to be considered) :coffee:

Never going to happen, if collisions were enabled; people would be bumping into other players when surfing. I do not believe there is a negotiable fix for this, but I could be wrong. But my vote on this is -1. Sorry.

-1 Memes and all are fine, but since this might be taken seriously I suppose I'd best be honest about it. You were definitely a fun guy years back and made pretty good staff, at least from what I've seen, but after watching more recently and also hearing some stuff here or there, I don't think this would work out anymore. You let loose on people a bit too much or often, don't seem to care all of that much whether or not you're here, and don't take much seriously (yes I know not everything needs to be taken seriously, but it feels like someone has to keep an eye on what you're doing while you're on.) There's a lot of other examples that could be brought up by anyone that actually frequents the servers; no offense to the +1s here, but a lot of you either aren't on much to see or are just doing it for the memes, and while memes and jokes are fine, it's a bit of a problem if this is being taken seriously. Every time I go to check the server on gmod to see if anyone is on it there isn't anyone on it. Is the gmod division really needed? There's only one gamemode anyways so I don't really see the point of keeping it since there isn't anything going on in the community and in fact the last thing posted in the gmod division discussion was in August 22 of this year. Are the CL's thinking of doing anything with this division or is it forever going to stay abandoned?

I've made a lot of tough decisions ever since I got DM then obtained DL then finally CL/CM but none of them are harder than this one I'm stepping down from CM to Member and will be removing my own powers shortly after posting this. Since @Aegean came back everything has gotten way better and there are no longer giant retarded shitstorms to take care of. @Bello has control of the TF2 division and is a great DL so no real problems there. (Besides valve forgetting about the game) @Lithium has a solid grasp on the ever growing CS:GO Division and @Bleed is his guardian angel. It would seem a good amount of people want me to step down now and I shall oblige them. I have been here for four years and I don't have the time or the passion anymore I much rather do something else then play TF2 or CS:GO with what time I have. I'm not active on teamspeak because most the people I enjoyed have left I only really come on to see @Vector and that is still not often. I'm not gonna make a huge list of tags because you know if I hate you or not. It was a fun run while it lasted. Goodbye.

What if creating a thread in that section was restricted to those who are on the member (forum member group) + have 50 posts. Anyone who does not meet the qualifications may reply to staff submissions. I have used many forum sites and they usually have that permission setting, unsure about xenforo though. @Rhododendron

I honestly can't tell if this is a huge meme or an actual submission. First off, let me just say that if you're applying for staff, please be active. If you're not active, then I don't know why we'd even consider you as an applicant. And this doesn't go for just you, it goes for everyone that applies in the future. Second, I'm going to have to -1 your submission for admin. Although, if you applied for moderator I would be neutral.

No point in posting it in the gmod section as no one looks there. For the sake of exposure it should just be in general so more people who casually browse active sections of the forum can weigh in their ideas and opinions.

I played morbus a few months ago and the population was fairly low (<15). xG is one of the few communities currently using that gamemode (might be the only lol). However, the non-legacy server list that shows gamemodes drowns out dead gamemodes such as morbus. Which means new player traffic xG's gmod server will get is near nil. The gamemode itself is kind of a shit show and not that fun (hence why the server is empty and no one else is running the gamemode). The morbus server should honestly get scratched for TTT or even DarkRP. Both are fun and popular gamemodes that will get way more new player traffic. Personally, I think TTT should get added as there are a lot of niche ways to get population on your server. Not only that but you don't have to invest time the same way you do as DarkRP. Lastly, TTT does not require many players to be on the server to start populating it compared to DarkRP (where few players means boring gameplay). If @Stickz or anyone else decides to revamp the GMOD community I think there should be a 24/7 TTT server and a small DarkRP server for community nights. At the very least a TTT server over morbus.

bro you don't even understand. Their two players, Jubens, and Scheptzel, both where supposed to be playing that day, scheptzel updated to windows 10 an hour before the match, and jubens was mia. I pulled an all nighter this day, and was 26 hours into my day, and they asked me to play, I had to fucking track down netex to add me to the roster late, which was another fucking pain in the ass. Scheptzel finished his W10 update and got on teamspeak, so I was like thank god I can go to bed "Scheptzel: I can't play, Rabid: Why not? Scheptz: I forgot its my dads birthday today I gotta leave" So I played three games with these guys, just completely fucking drained, when I wasnt even supposed to be playing that day. Moral of the story fuck @jubens45 and fuck @scheptzel OH AND THE BEST FUCKING PART, THEY HAD TWO WEEKS OF NOTICE FOR THESE MATCHES AND BOTH SAID THEY'D BE AVAIBLE THAT DAY.

Idk if there's -1ing and sht for ban protests but I just want to put this out. Last week I had to gag, mute, and kick him twice. He has a sound board and mic spams, starts yelling " burn jews, slay n*ggers". I've told him to stop multiple time ls but he doesn't get it. Virr banned him for a week because it got so bad before. +1 I remember when we would party on clocktown for 12 hours a day for an entire summer in 2k13, then like a month after he got mod he dropped activity entirely. Then like 9 months later, after I was permed and unbanned and finally got mod, he came back. And since the tf2 higher ups (I think it was brian and nom) completely forgot to remove his powers, they just grandfathered him into mod and we were in the same promo demo.
