hey guys csgo admin here but uhhhhhhhhhhh if this is saying the n word that you're talking about, I don't think this applies at all if somebody goes to klan meetings and starts honestly rambling on about how he hates the "inferior race" that's still hate speech... obviously you're right about the "everyone does things they regret" and if he said the n word in the past then it's time to let go and everyone else is saying good things about him, but if he IS saying the n word that wouldn't be proper behavior for a staff member I get your point frosty, but sometimes they way you put it just isn't quite right. Division Discord Offenders In-Game Name Garrettb(insert random set of numbers here) Offender's Identity Does it matter? Ban Type Server Ban Explanation and Evidence Comes in discord every couple days about how he has ban evaded several times and can quit hacking anytime he wants to (like a smoker claiming to be able to stop whenever they want). Talks openly about how he makes numerous accounts to hack on and evade and brags about his accounts not getting VAC or otherwise banned (yet). Generally tries to intentionally rile up users and staff with his bragging about it etc. Claims he will video him "throwing out his hacks" "if he needs to" and that he "wont use them" Honestly he's almost worse than Oscar. @virr @Lithium @Aegean @LeToucan Can we just banerino all of his current (and future) accounts from disc and be done with it, it's annoying to have him coming back every couple days to talk about how he can evade his bans if he wants to, and false promises to not hack on our servers.

I’ve seen little to no demonstration of a wish to help out that I can take seriously, as I feel he’s often floating in the clouds, rather than taking advantage of opportunities to assist the server. Activity doesn’t translate to eligibility. ??

I agree with @Chrono that it is a tarp, but we can clarify it on the MOTD as an example just so people can refer to it whenever possible.

If they're saying an order and say "on my go" at the end of it that is arguably a tarp, same with the repeat having the "on go" at the end of it, you're basically telling Ts to do something then saying jk if you did it im killing you because i didnt say go yet. just slay them or tell them it is invalid.

well, here's the story of everything leading up to this post right here 1. I buy CS:GO 2. Get absolutely ass-blasted by everyone on every server and every gamemode. 3. "lol you don't got skins" - toxic squeaker 4. ff about like 2-3 months (getting better at this) 5. discover the xenogamers minigames server (its ok) 6. ff around a week 7. discover the xeno. jailbreak server (thats more like it) 8. ff about 2 weeks or so 9. create account on the website and apply for membership 10. create this post So yeah thats whats been going on in my csgo related adventures so far, its not much but its been a fun ride from start to whenever I eventually finish, and I wanna thank you all for great epic gamer moments and im hoping to become a member (or maybe a mod). Welp, if you need me, ill be accidentally tarping in the jailbreak servers.

Hard +1 for the ban. Became toxic after the ban, constantly mentions he's gonna make his millionth account, continues to say he could ban evade if he wanted to and bragged about his cheats. The bunny hop ban was also EXTREMELY justified, as he first was claiming that S.M.A.C. made a mistake and after being told that it couldn't happen and I accused him of hyperscroll, he still INSISTED it was a mistake because he claimed he didn't have that kind of mouse, then after being told again it was impossible or near impossible he convinced me he was using hyperscroll and "didn't know it was cheats". Lithium called him out on his ban protest saying that's not how it works and hyperscroll wouldn't even get detected by SMAC, and garrett was finally convicted and banned for bhop scripts. In discord he later admitted to not only bhop scripting but also using aim/vision cheats. Are we really gonna trust his bullshit? He already tried to bull his way out of the bhop ban. I honestly think he's going to continue to cheat, maybe he'll buy expensive premium cheats since he can afford 70+ accounts with CSGO. And to think we're gonna let him off easy just because he'll donate $10 and post a picture of himself, covering his face with a piece of paper? there's too many of them lol I don't blame you

You see, I would give you a +1 but yesterday you came at my neck the moment I joined the server. Didn't even say anything to anyone, not even a hello and you instantly disrespect me for no reason. I thought you were okay before this unfortunate event but it seems like you still lack maturity as other people here say so. This is speaking for a combination for all of my experiences/interactions with him, spanning from a year ago to as recent as several weeks ago. Your concern is appreciated, but I am vouching based off of relevance of recentness rather than that one time he called me a doofushead 10 years ago. People can change.

We should definitely add a rule where any order with an 'on go' element to it must be started with the 'on go'. Because right now, wardens can say something like "All T's take 1 step out of cell and freeze... On my go." and then kill all the people who did the order immediately.

Whilst I'm aware that Logic is an active member who definitely knows the rules, I've encountered many situations where he'd become aggressive and hostile towards other players on the server. This is not only in the past, but has been an occurrence recently, too. He's a lovely guy to me; I think he's a pretty sound dude. However, I feel as though Logic needs to improve on his overall attitude to all players, regardless of who they are. Being a staff member makes you a role model to new, old, young and regular players. Many of the players will look up to you if you're a staff member. If Logic were to improve on his attitude towards players who may not know the difference between left and right and kept his cool a bit more, I'd 100% consider a +1. However, right now I feel as though just that little extra push is needed. Remember to always keep your cool, mate. Good luck on your application, regardless. ?

+1 Logic is a really fun and responsible guy. I really like his attitude towards both staff and players. He is someone responsible and accountable. Also just to throw my opinion in on this, even if he did say that, I feel that it shouldn't affect his chances of getting staff. We have all said things we regret and I can't really think of a staff member who hasn't broken at least 1 rule. In addition, I'm almost positive that it was someone like 10toothlesswonders because he has gotten others to say the n word before as well as said it himself. This doesn't mean that toothless is a terrible person, because I believe people should have the right to say what they want to say as long as they are being honest about it (of course i still enforce this rule regardless of my opinion on the subject).

Veganism is actually a pretty difficult philosophy to challenge for the average idiot, not that you have to understand any of that to be a vegan, a lot of people just do it because they like animals or whatever. I'd wager most people would agree to the sentiment that suffering should be reduced wherever possible, however most people aren't vegan, so there's some disconnect there. It's totally plausible for the average American to never eat meat again, in some cases cheaper on their budget even (given you don't live in a food desert), so the real question is why doesn't the average person? I'd argue that people think of humans as "different" or above animals and that gives them some reasoning to justify it to themselves. But in reality humans are just another species of animal, there's nothing out there that says we're "special", that no other forms of life can reach the level we have. Another reason I think is that a lot of people also think of animals as "unfeeling", like robots, but biological life. I think this is a mistaken notion, there are many documented cases of animals displaying what appears to be empathy, not only within species, but across the lines of species. Additionally most people would feel pretty queasy about eating a dog, but are fine with bacon or pork products, even though pigs are technically more intelligent animals. So ultimately, if you think suffering should be reduced wherever possible (within the realms of being able to live a healthy and comfortable life let's say), what are the reasons for remaining a carnist (eating meat)? I don't think there are any really, and you can feel free to debate me on this, but I don't think there's a consistent worldview that allows the average first world middle-class citizen to minimize suffering while eating meat. I personally don't even think suffering is reducible because merely continuing to live is in essence a selfish act. Rather I think patterns of co-operation and nonviolence are evolutionary advantages meant to give both me and my fellow humans a leg up. If the biggest threat towards my own existence is another human, then language empathy and communication are advanced ways to communicate a "cease fire" so to speak, as we both pose the biggest threat towards the other's existence. I do this not out of a wish to minimize risk for my neighbor, but as a way to minimize risk for myself, which plays into the "selfishness" I mentioned earlier. With most animals this doesn't really exist. I as a human cannot communicate this proverbial "cease fire" of sorts with a bear, as if a bear cannot interpret what I communicate, there's no guarantee of my own "selfish" gain. Therefore this argument for veganism holds no real value to me. There are other reasons to consider veganism or limiting your consumption of meat that I think hold a little more value. I would be more swayed to veganism personally from a conservation standpoint because the meat industry is not only inefficient, it is also one of the largest causes of pollution on a global scale. Additionally at the rate we continue to consume meat, it seems completely unsustainable to keep going, we'll either have to figure out several effective work-arounds or perfect and create an industry for lab meat. Food for thought.
