I don't think this thread has any further reason to stay up. We will keep the rules as it is now, enforce the disrespect rule as we always do. as you said, he hasn't done anything ban worthy. The only issue with woopx is he spams for warden all the time and and gives the weirdest orders that are hard to understand if you dont play with him a lot. I wish you guys would be more open to using your staff powers to their fullest, you have the ability to pass warden when he spams every round for it, and can mute him when he tries to continue as "warner" like I do. -1 please close, there wont be able to be any evidence worthy of a ct ban for him. just that staff need to pass warden more when he spams. @Aegean

People have an opinion on a word they don't want in our servers, and you're saying we're turning the clan into a fucking dictatorship. The right to voice an opinion without punishment is not a dictatorship, and the higher ups don't even agree with the suggestion in the first place but respect their right to do so. I also decided at the time to put memes in the chat like the shaggy Jo-Jo's reference. I understand I Fucked up and I shouldn't have done that. I get that I spammed people in the discord. +1 One of the most active members, is on during those moments when the cancer gets out of hand and no staff is usually on. Calm, patient, respectful, very knowledgeable of the rules, fun guy to talk to. Knows how to deal with rulebreakers and new users. Darrth gives people chances and has an objective view of most situations. He would make an excellent addition to the staff team.

An issue that we have on our servers is our treatment of slurs and offensive words. We don’t allow racial slurs and other vocabulary made to demean and offend, something that benefits the servers, But one word escapes this rule Faggot It is ridiculous that it is allowed considering the fact that the servers have such a large LGBTQ+ presence , but that is why this thread was made, to discuss and push the fact that it really should not be allowed. On Top of the fact that is offensive and often used in toxic ways, it paints the server as hypocritical. Why ban some slurs and not others? I have often kicked/muted people for slurs who then start saying faggot asking why this is allowed, why am I not muting them. It is a bad message to send. I know that there are people who wish to keep their right to openly say slurs (despite no real reason to) but really it is detrimental to the message we are trying to send and does nothing beneficial to the servers. So I ask that we vote, to enforce a ban on the word, a notion me and other mods, try to enforce already, as it hurts us, hurts them, hurts us all and sends a hypocritical message to any new and veteran players.

He was harassing another staff member (queenofhearts) after multiple warnings to stop. wasn't banned but @Lithium denied their member app.

As a serious response, i say fuck no to censoring words alone regardless of the context, if the context is something similar to "lol fuck off fag", it shouldnt be taken as the same thing and punished the same way as someone who says "god i fucking hate faggots, i wish they didnt exist". That is plain dumb.

I think the "word" faggot is highly demeaning and should be a bannable offense, we have people who lose their lives over this stuff and it is a serious thing. I really don't think i should have to explain why I think the word faggot "should" be banned. It is such a terrible word along with other words and frankly, I think we should ban all profanity cause it can make other people uncomfortable and it makes me uncomfortable and I think its wrong that anyone can offend other people and thats wrong. And I also think we should ban insults because they are usually just used to demean and make fun of other people and it is only used by internet trolls and thats wrong. So i think we should just make it so that everybody is forced to say they love everyone on the server at least once an hour to keep up the positivity and the happy fun time going because we need that kind of an environment in order to be able to remain on the server

I had to pause my game cause I pointed something out to Hyper in DMs and he pointed something out to me. My point was, if we ban this word, which we shouldn't. It'll make people want to say it more. Stupid shit like that always happens. And, he pointed out that if we do ban it, it could cause more people to leave.

I agree 100% with @Elcark and @Kypari. It has never been an issue in the past, faggot should NOT be considered on equal terms as the N word, or Sp*c, or other racially offensive terms. This is a video gaming community, if someone says to their friend "shut up faggot", I am not interested in punishing him as he does not deserve a punishment. If he is being disrespectful, follow the guide on that. We are not a SJW clan, and we are not a safe space. We have rules for a reason, but we also understand that we are in an online gaming community, we want people to have fun, and we don't want to find trouble where it doesn't need to be found. If you honestly think someone saying faggot could ruin our servers, then we have other issues in my honest opinion.
