    oof...

well a couple of the ones on JB at least; i'll try and finish the fixed version of ba_jail_lotus in a couple days.
  4. Lithium

    oof...

Giveaways plugin crashed the servers, and since I don't think the skin donation bot is up anymore there aren't any skins to give away. I try to do giveaways on JB in the form of bounties pretty often whenever there are a decent amount of players on, but we could probably do manual giveaways as well on minigames (or trivia for credits, like we used to do occasionally). Anyways, the best way to populate is just to join the servers and to invite your friends. Check the #csgo channel on discord, @Dannypicacho or I post in there sometimes if there's people on and we're trying to get more. I can probably do an operation populate or two on the steam group too sometime this week (but people usually ignore those)
  5. jb_shitbox and before you say "it can't be rtv'd"... it can now!
  6. Hub Added PGL Krakow 2017 Auras (see here for more information) Added Boston ELeague 2018 Auras (see here for more information) Added Twilight (5000) and Lights (4000) auras Donating In addition to donating for a custom chat tag, you can now donate for a custom aura! See here for details. Note: This is an experiment to see how popular this is, and may be removed eventually (auras will be kept if this happens).
  7. Donate here! Donating for CS:GO can get you credits which you can use to buy in-game items, such as sprays, auras, trails, chat colors and more! You can also donate to receive custom items for Hub that only you can use! For more information on Hub click here. After donating, please contact @Lithium (Steam), @Bleed (Steam), or @virr(Steam or discord: virr#0001) to give you what you paid for. One-Time Purchases When donating for one of these, please make the donation message what you are buying and for what division. These purchases do not count towards the donor tier listed below. Credits - $1 -> 1000 credits (min $1) Note: Purchasing credits on the forums is currently not available, but will be restored eventually. In the meantime, you can donate to receive credits on the CS:GO servers, but you must contact one of us listed above to give you the credits. Chat Tags - $2 You can choose the text and color (from any of the chat colors available in store) for a custom tag in chat. You will be allowed to request changes to this for 24 hours, after which you must pay an additional 1$ for changes. Custom tags must follow our guidelines and be appropriate, and we recommend you contact a higher-up before donating to ensure your tag is acceptable. Auras - $10 Note: Donating for auras may be removed at a later date if it doesn't work out well (all auras will be kept if this happens). In addition, it may take a while for us to create your aura and add it onto the server (possibly several weeks). The aura will be a basic custom aura in game, in the style of one of our CS:GO team auras with a custom image of your choosing (the image must adhere to our guidelines, and cannot be anything inappropriate). As with tags, we recommend you contact a higher-up before donating to ensure your image is acceptable. Donor Tiers Currently, we only have one donor tier. More will likely be coming soon. Anyone who has Sponsor or a equal or greater for TF2 may get these powers as well, upon request; anyone who has donated for CS:GO can also get equivalent donor perks in other divisions as well. 8. Welcome to our CS:GO Jailbreak server! If you've played Jailbreak before and are familiar with our server, you may wish to skip to our CS:GO Jailbreak rules. Otherwise, we recommend reading this guide before you begin. How do I play? In Jailbreak, there are two teams: the guards (counter-terrorists) and the prisoners (terrorists). At the beginning of each round, one guard is selected to be the warden. The warden gives orders to the prisoners, who must follow the orders or risk being killed by the guards. The last prisoner alive gets to have a last request, where they can play games against the remaining guards for their life. We strongly recommend new players play as a prisoner for a while until they become more familiar with the game, and then try out playing as a guard before eventually attempting to be a warden. Prisoners The prisoners' goal is to be the last prisoner alive and to get a last request, or to lead a rebellion and kill all the guards. If you prefer to try and be the last prisoner alive, follow the warden's orders. The warden will order you to play different games, which you should try to win to stay alive. If you instead prefer to rebel, there are a number of different ways you can try to take down the guards. Many players will simply follow orders until they see a chance to kill a guard or run away, and then try to grab a gun to kill more guards. Most maps have a number of vents, secret areas, or hidden guns to help the prisoners to rebel: it's up to you to find them. You can also use the !bomb chat command to buy a bomb, so you can self-destruct and kill a number of guards, helping your fellow prisoners to win the round. Guards The goal of the guards is to ensure the prisoners follow the warden's orders and kill any prisoner who disobeys. Use the command !guard to be placed in a queue to join the guards. As a guard, you should stay with the prisoners at all times to ensure they do not rebel - unless there is already a prisoner rebelling, in which case you can go hunt them down. You should also follow whatever instructions the warden gives you. Make sure you do not kill any prisoners unless you are sure they are rebelling or disobeying orders. Generally, you should give prisoners a few seconds to comply with orders before killing them. Do not get within knifing distance of prisoners as a guard - this is known as "baiting", and is against the rules. If you are playing as a guard and the warden dies, you may be required to take over as warden - so please make sure you have a microphone if you are playing as a guard. Warden The warden gives orders over microphone to the prisoners in an effort to eliminate them until only one remains. A good warden will use a variety of map games and their own creativity to keep the rounds fun and interesting. The warden can also use the !days command at the beginning of a round to select a special day, with special rules. There are many rules regarding what a warden can and cannot do, so please be sure you're familiar with them before attempting to warden. Further Information See our CS:GO Jailbreak rules for more information, and ask staff members if you have any questions. Helpful Commands !rtd - Roll the dice. Can be used once per round, and gives a random power-up or negative effect to the player. !bomb - As a prisoner, allows you to buy a bomb which you can use to kill guards. !days - As a warden, allows you to select a special day for this round. !guard - Adds you to a queue to join the guards. !staff - Prints all staff members currently on the server. !hub or !store - Allows you to buy cosmetic items with credits earned from playing on our servers.
  9. If you're new to Jailbreak, we recommend checking out our CS:GO Jailbreak 101 guide before playing. All rules specified in our General CS:GO Server Rules also apply on this sever. The following rules cover the majority of situations on Jailbreak, but if you're a regular and want to see more detailed rules, see our In-Depth CS:GO Jailbreak Rules. General Jailbreak Rules Anything not specified in this MOTD is considered illegal unless an Admin says otherwise. Do not encourage other players to break the rules or attempt to trick them into doing so. Do not spam guns. Do not camp armory or vents as T or CT. No cheating is implied on all games, including LRs, unless explicitly specified. Do not intentionally delay the round, especially on LR. Warden Rules and Regulations Call warden by being the first CT to speak at the beginning of the round. Give orders to the Ts to gradually eliminate all but one of them, or call a special day with the !days command. If a T is rebelling, you can pardon them by name. You may only do a special day every 3 rounds, and you must use the !days menu to call a special day. Do not spam for warden. This means holding your mic down or quickly tapping your mic button before the start of the round. Do not play the same game 2 rounds in a row. You must have cells open within 75 seconds (on most maps, this is 8:45) or else it is a freeday! You cannot tarp (see In-Depth Rules for definition) for the first 3 minutes of a round (on most maps, this means you cannot tarp before 7:00). The first order out of cells must be repeated at least once if T's request it. (Orders after this do not have to be repeated) AFK freeze can only be given as the first order immediately after taking a step out of cells. No in-cell orders are permitted ("Out of cell Rebel" is not an in-cell order). No favoritism and no special treatment. This includes personal freedays or allowing T's to be warden. A valid order must be given at least every 90 seconds or else it becomes a freeday. Any game that is explained below (in the "Pre-Approved Games" section) requires no explanation for T's, but other non-map games must be explained adequately and may require admin approval Do not order T's to kill a CT (Games like Pokemon or Thunderdome are allowed, however) You may not order T's to throw their grenades or bombs. To pardon a T, you must tell them by name that they are pardoned. Guard (Counter-Terrorist) Rules and Regulations Join guard by using !guard or /guard. Follow your warden's orders and attempt to maintain order and stifle any rebellions. Kill any T who doesn't follow orders or rebels. If there are at least 4 players on CT, the last CT alive will get LastCT, and can kill any T they come across until there is only one remaining. Do not freekill or shoot at T's unless they are rebelling (no warning shots). Do not break vents unless Last CT is in effect and should not enter vents unless pursuing a T. Stay with your warden and the Ts at all times unless rebel hunting or a special day is in effect. Leave armory within 30 seconds of the start of a round. Do not bait or gunplant the prisoners. If you want a T to drop a gun, you must tell them by name to drop it. If the warden dies, a new warden must be selected within 15 seconds or a Freeday will be automatically given. As LastCT, do not kill Ts stuck inside a room without an exit when LCT begins (i.e. isolation) without first opening the room and giving t's 5 seconds for t's to escape. No favoritism as LastCT. If you see a T, you should try and kill them. Do not shoot Ts based on any store items they have (tracers, nade skins, skin colors) - Ts may change these and you may kill the wrong person. CTs should not pick up map guns outside of armory. "Warden kills only" should be understood to mean the warden can only kill T's that lose in a game - under this order guards are still permitted to kill T's that are rebelling (T's that lose games are not to be considered rebels). Prisoner (Terrorist) Rules and Regulations Follow the warden's orders and attempt to be the last alive (type !lr to get the Last Request menu), or lead a rebellion and kill all the CTs. Do not rebel during your Last Request without using the option in the menu. You cannot rebel after you have already chosen or completed a different LR in that round. Do not camp in any location during Last CT You must select a Last Request from the !lr menu and custom LRs are not allowed. Additional rules are allowed for existing LRs, so long as they are fair for both T and CT. No detouring or delaying is always implied. Wardens do not need to specify this. Ninja steps are not allowed unless explicitly specified by the warden. You are an automatic rebel if you: Do not follow warden's orders Are in armory or break vents on a non-warday Have a primary weapon out, unless asked to drop it Shooting a secondary weapon Are aiming at CTs with a secondary weapon Damage a CT Special Days There are a variety of special days which the warden can call with !days. Rules on special days may differ from standard JB rules, so read carefully. Freedays A day in which T’s can do whatever they like while not rebelling. Entering vents/Armory is still considered rebelling. The Warden can restrict the freeday to a certain area upon calling the freeday. Once granted, a freeday cannot be revoked. There are also some variations on freedays. Panda Freeday A freeday in which all T’s must crouch at all times unless he is typing in chat, while freelooking, or if you must stand/run to get to a CT. A T may right-click a CT and would not be considered a rebel. Ninja Panda Freeday Same as a Panda Freeday except you must be jumping at the same time. Zombie Freeday A freeday in which all T’s must be shift-walking at all times. T’s may not crouch or jump unless they must to get to a CT. A T can left-click a CT and not be considered a rebel. Wardays A normal Warday is a battle between T’s and CT’s, in an area chosen by warden. The area must have 2 or more entrances. Inside the area, anyone may be killed. T’s outside of the Warday area may not be killed unless they have a gun out, or are baiting a freekill (meaning standing outside the warday area in an attempt to get a CT to freekill them). T’s who are not actively participating in the Warday may be slain. There is no LR on wardays. There are also some special variations on wardays. Predator Day A predator day is a special form of warday where there are no location restrictions and CTs only have knives and are invisible. Ts get AKs and should try to kill CTs without being killed. This is a type of warday, so there is no camping allowed and there is no LR. CT Ninja Day A CT ninja day is a warday with no location restrictions in which CT’s must only use knives. Last CT does not have to use a knife. Friendly Fire Day A friendly fire day is an ordinary day where friendly fire is enabled and Ts and CTs can try to kill their own teammates unless warden specifies otherwise. Upon LR/LastCT, any teamkilling restrictions given by the warden are lifted. Warden may restrict T's or CT's from teamkilling, but may not restrict CTs from killing warden only. Hide and Seek Day CTs are frozen and blinded for 60 seconds while Ts hide. Ts hide on the map and after 60 seconds, CTs begin hunting the Ts down until LR. Ts can only use knives. Reverse Hide and Seek Day Similar to a hide and seek day, except reverse. CTs hide on the map and after a set time Ts hunt for the CTs and kill them. CTs are allowed to use their knives to attempt to kill Ts. Last CT plays out as normal. Pre-Approved Games These games do not require admin approval to play and do not require explanation to Ts. First Reaction, Last Reaction - The warden tells T's either first reaction or last reaction, and then a simple order (ie "Last reaction, jump"). If the warden says first reaction, the first T to do the command dies, and if the warden says last reaction, the last T to do the command dies. There must be at least 3 T's left alive (cannot be done for LR). No Balls - T's are ordered to all stack up on one spot, while jumping and standing are unrestricted. The warden then says a time at which jumping will be restricted, and T's are "no-balls-d" to jump, and CT's attempt to kill them while they are jumping. When a T hits the ground after jumping, he is automatically pardoned. This can and usually is repeated with restricting standing up, so all T's end up crouching. Jumping and standing are unrestricted once noballs is over. Trivia - Ask a common knowledge question to Ts, the winner gets a prize. The T’s must know the prize. No more than 3 T’s can die to the prize. Both questions and answers must be typed. Surprise Trivia - Same thing as trivia, but the T’s don’t know what the prize is. You must type the prize in team chat before asking the question. The winner gets the opportunity to keep or pass the prize. Both questions and answers must be typed. You cannot have the prize kill more than 3 Ts. Simon Says - Can only be played after 7:00, as this is a tarp-related game. This is played just like the childhood game. You cannot tell Ts to Kill CTs or get guns. Pokemon - A T is chosen for the T pokemon master via trivia or another fair way. The T may choose another T or himself to knife fight the CT chosen by the CT pokemon master. The CT Pokemon Master is the warden unless specified otherwise. This can only be played with 3 or more T’s alive. Thunderdome - This is like Pokemon, except a T may use a gun as long as it isn’t used against the audience. Odd Man Out - Requires 3 T’s. There are 2 actions the T’s can do (i.e. jump or crouch) and the T that is the only T to do the action is the odd man out. The warden must specify the prize for being the odd man out before it is played, or type it in team chat if it is a surprise. Opinionated Games - Contests among T’s in which CT’s judge whether or not the T lives or dies. A couple examples are “Salty Spitoon”, “Joke day”, and “Dive Contest”. There must be at least 3 CT's to judge for any opinionated day, and at least 3 T's left alive (cannot be done for LR). Skill Jump Contest - The warden (or another CT) must demonstrate a jump he wants the Ts to do. After that, the Ts must complete the jump successfully after a number of tries that the warden specifies.

    CS:GO Staff Manual

STAFF RANKS This is a list of all the ranks available for staff, and what duties and powers come with the ranks. Server Staff Moderator (xG:M) - A mod is the lowest level of staff on our servers. They are, essentially, an admin-in-training. Mods have access to the most basic admin commands - chat messages, kicks, slays, mutes, gags, silences, teambans, and non-permanent server bans. Moderators are expected to enforce the written rules, and ask higher-up staff members on any questions or disputes. There are also Trial Mods or Probationary Mods, who have identical powers to standard mods, but comes with a much stricter tolerance for following the rules/ abuse. Administrator (xG:A) - Admins are the second rank of staff on xG servers. In addition to the mod powers, admins are able to call votes and permanently ban players from the server. Admins have usually been around xG for a while, and are typcially more active on the forums and/or Discord. Admins are generally permitted to be more flexible when interpreting the rules, as they are more trusted members of the community. Server Leadership Division Manager (xG: DM) - Division managers are the lowest leadership rank. Typically, they are tasked with managing the forums, including member and staff applications, although their powers and duties can vary depending on the individual's knowledge and skills. They have access to all server powers and access to forum and discord moderation powers. They are involved in promo/demo discussions, and are permitted to make minor adjustments and decisions regarding rules as they see fit. Typically, there will be no more than 2 DM's at a time. DM's also have the ability to edit bans or unban players that were mistakenly banned. Division Leader (xG: D) - Division leader is the highest rank within the CS:GO division. Similar to Division Manager, a DL's responsibilities may vary. They are given server access, and often add maps, plugins, or other content to the server. Similar to DM's, there will typically be no more than 2 at a given time. Community Leadership Community Manager (xG:CM) - This rank is higher than any division-specific rank. Typically, CM's will also have all the powers of a Division Leader, but are also involved in clan-wide decisions and changes. Co-Leader (xG:C) - This is the highest rank in the clan, and are tasked with the management of the entire clan. STAFF EXPECTATIONS We hold our staff members to a high standard, and expect that they should follow our guidelines. Staff members must be active on the servers. This doesn't mean that you must play every day, or that there is a required number of hours per week you need to be active. However, if you are not on the servers for any significant amount of time over a few weeks, you will likely lose your powers. (If you know you will be inactive, you can notify higher-ups and we will usually give some flexibility. However, if you're inactive for an extended period of time, you may be demoted regardless) Staff members must follow the rules. This should go without saying, but staff members should not break the rules or encourage others to do so. This will result in a loss of powers, and possibly a ban. Staff members should be respectful when dealing with players. Treating other people with disrespect or harassing players is completely inappropriate as a staff member, and will likely result in a removal of powers. aboose of powers is strictly forbidden. aboose of ANY form is not tolerated and will result in an immediate loss of staff. This includes, but is not limited to: slaying, banning, or kicking players for no reason; banning for excessive lengths of time, unnecessary use of allchat, unmuting yourself as a T at the beginning of a round, etc. Players should know why they were punished. When punishing players, warnings should be given before or explanations after they were slayed/muted/gagged. Staff should wear their tags at all times when on xG servers. Going undercover is allowed, but do not stay undercover for long periods of time or when other staff members (wearing tags) are on. This should only be done if there are complaints of a specific person breaking rules when no staff member is on. Staff should show no bias in their dealings with players. Different punishments for different situations is understandable, but you should under no circumstances show favoritism. Staff shouldn't deal punishments based on the words of other players. If you didn't see it happen, then don't do anything. SERVER COMMANDS New staff members should learn these commands, and refer to this if you forget one. Chat Message Commands Admins have special commands available for chat to make communicating with people on the server easier. All Chat All chat is a way of distinguishing yourself as an admin in chat to all players. To use it, type in normal chat "@" followed by your message. For example, would come up as to all players. Admin Chat Admin chat is similar to all chat, except only admins can see it. To use it, type in team chat "@" followed by your message. Using the previous example, admins would see . All players can type in this chat, so players have a way of directly talking to admins. Private Chat Private chat is a way to message a specific player privately. To use it, type in normal chat "@@" followed by the players name, and then the message. For example, typing shows to you and the other player. Note: We can see in our logs what you have typed here, it is not completely private. Command List Commands have a prefix of either an "!" or "/" when typed in chat, or "sm_" when typed in console. For simplicity, all commands here are listed with their console prefix. Admin Menu (sm_admin) Usage: sm_admin This brings up a menu where you can access most of the commands (ban, kick, teamswap, etc.). This is handy if you forget some of the commands, but most of the time it's easier to just use the commands in chat. Seen here: Slay (sm_slay) Usage: sm_slay <player> Kills a player. The most common punishment for minor violations. You can also use sm_smite <player>. Slay Next Round (sm_slaynr) Usage: sm_slaynr <player> <number of rounds to slay> Automatically slays a player for the next number of rounds specified. Only available on jailbreak. Reset Slay Next Round (sm_resetslays) Usage: sm_resetslays <player> Stop the player from being automatically slain. Only available on jailbreak. Ban (sm_ban) Usage: sm_ban <player> <time> <reason> This bans a player from the server for the time specified, with the given reason. Ban Disconnected (sm_bandisconnected) Usage: sm_bandisconnected <steamid> <time> <reason> This bans a disconnected player from the server for the time specified, with the given reason. Teamban (sm_teamban) Usage: sm_teamban <player> <time> <reason> Similar to ban, but bans a player from CT. Only available on jailbreak. Kick (sm_kick) Usage: sm_kick <player> Kicks a player from the server. Mute (sm_mute) Usage: sm_mute <player> Prevents a player from using their microphone. Useful mostly for micspammers. Use sm_unmute <player> to remove a mute. Gag (sm_gag) Usage: sm_gag <player> Prevents a player from using text chat. Use sm_ungag <player> to remove a gag. Silence (sm_silence) Usage: sm_silence <player> Gags and mutes a player. Use sm_unsilence <player> to remove a silence. Identify / Who (sm_who) Usage: sm_who, or sm_who <playername> This gives you a list of players on the server and their admingroups, or prints it for only a specific player. For all players: For a specific player, it will look something like this: Abort LR (sm_abortlr) Usage: sm_abortlr Cancels the currently active LR. Only available on jailbreak, and should be used if an LR was mistakenly selected or has broken. Reset Bounty (sm_resetbounty) Usage: sm_resetbounty Opens a menu to reset a bounty. Swap Team (sm_swapteam) Usage: sm_swapteam <player> Swaps a player to the other team. On jailbreak, you can only swap people off of CT. Open Cells (sm_open) Usage: sm_open Opens cell doors on the map. This should only be used if cells need to be opened due to no CT's or if CT's refuse to open cells after it is a freeday. Only available on jailbreak. Targeting Players In order to use these commands on other players, you'll need to know how to target them. Typically, in the commands listed above, you can replace <player> with a fragment of their name. For example: yields . Sometimes, this won't work, if two players have the same name or have untypable characters in their name. In that case, simply type status in your console. This will provide you with a list that looks like this: First, you need to find the player you want to target, and find their userid - the first column. Then, you can type the command followed by #userid. For example: . Here is a list of various default targeting methods available in SourceMod. #steamid - Matches by Steam ID. If you use colons :)), you must enclose in quotes. Otherwise, you can use an underscore (_) instead. Examples: "#STEAM_0:1:4433", #STEAM_0_1_4433 #<name> - Exact name match after the # sign. @all - All players (available on most commands). @bots - All bots (available on most commands). @alive - All alive players (available on most commands that accept alive players). @dead - All dead players (available on most commands that accept dead players). @humans - All non-bot players (available on most commands). @aim - Current player the admin is directly aiming at. @me - Target self. @!me - Target everyone but yourself. @ct or @cts - All Counter-Terrorists @t or @ts - All Terrorists Note that name matches occur last, "magic targets" (such as # and @) are processed first. This means that "@all" will target @all players, even if there is a player named "@all". You should target "#@all" instead. We have a few custom targeting methods on our servers as well, useful for certain situations. @namechanger - targets the person who changed his name last. @mostnamechanges - targets the person with the most name changes on the current map. PROMOTION GUIDELINES There are a number of requirements for promotion, as well as several things you can do in order to increase your chances of getting promoted. You do not have to make an application in order to be promoted, but you can if you wish. To Moderator In order to make an application for moderator, we require that you have at least: 20 hours on the CS:GO servers 50 forum posts Meet the general requirements listed here Players who do an good job of knowing the rules, helping other players, and who show exceptional maturity may be promoted to moderator without making an application. If you want to increase your chances of becoming a mod: Be active on forums and Discord. While not required for moderators, this is the easiest way for us to get to know you, and it's a sign you're dedicated to the community. Make sure you know the rules. Chances are, if you don't have a decent knowledge of our rules, you won't get promoted. Be kind and helpful to other players. Helping others on the servers is a good sign of maturity, and a great quality for staff. Players who do an good job of knowing the rules, helping other players, and who show exceptional maturity may be promoted to moderator without making an application, To Admin For a mod who wants a promotion, there are a few things you can do to help you get promoted: Be very active on forums and/or Discord. This is essentially required to be promoted, as we need to know that you are easy to contact and dedicated to this community. Know the rules thoroughly and help new people learn them. We expect more from admins, and we want to make sure that they can deal with any situations that might arise. To Higher Staff Promotions to any higher rank generally require a staff member to be an exceptional member of the community, showing maturity and knowledge of the community. We also look for people who are knowledgeable about server administration, including mapping and plugin creation, although these are not requirements.

  13. The reason this ban happened now is because @virr and I fixed the SourceSleuth plugin that's been on the TF2 servers for quite a while so that it wouldn't spam errors anymore (its a plugin that auto-bans people connecting from an IP that has already been banned by sourcebans). IDK if the TF2 higher ups want this plugin to actually auto-ban or just give a warning to staff, but it was already configured for that so that's what happened when it was fixed. let me or viktor know if you want it changed to warnings only, its real easy
  14. it'd be fairly easy to implement something like this using hud text afaik, you could make it as annoying/intrusive as you want, or it could just be in the corner of your screen. I didnt read this whole thread, but it seems like for something like that you could have it stay on the screen until the player acknowledges it by typing some command, just to make sure they read it. That being said I have 0 time to actually make that, so someone else would have to do it or it'd have to wait for a long time
  15. Daddy Reins/baby torblets is sorta a boss fight mode, but you're right I don't think we've ever had any proper ones
  16. There's already a tag next to guides specifying what game they're for; adding the name in the title would just be redundant. I changed that to "Do not encourage other players to break the rules or attempt to trick them into doing so" and added it to the General Server and Community rules as well.
  17. nvm i assume you just linked the wrong one the first time its on there now
  18. That does sort of sound like a port forwarding issue, or if someone else on your router is playing a Source game at the same time (and using the same port) it can cause connection issues. Although, if it's only the one server that doesn't make much sense. Any chance you can run a traceroute or use PingPlotter on the surf IP (192.223.26.26) and maybe another to a server that works (TGH is 64.74.97.69)?
  19. Honestly it wouldn't be that hard to make a plugin to do that, it'd just take a bit to add various types of quests. The main problem really is with farming/exploiting, which is gonna be difficult to avoid for anything that involves multiple players.
  20. good point, i forgot databases were a thing. This is a decent lib for that
  21. If I'm understanding you right, you want to use an FTP server to store high-score data for a game? If thats what you're trying to do, I'm not sure FTP is really a good solution for that. It would probably be better handled if you instead wrote a small server app that could receive data from clients and actually validate them somehow to stop people from spoofing hi-scores. As for networking/sockets, I know libcurl is a fairly popular library (which does support FTP if you really wanted to do that), but something like SDL_Net might be simpler (this looks like a decent tutorial for it).
  22. There's not really many things you can add into your autoexec to help fps; only one I can think of is r_dynamic "0". Other than that, if your laptop has multiple GPUs, make sure its using the correct one (can be done in nvidia control panel if using nvidia), make sure you dont have any launch options set (except maybe -novid), and keep all your settings on low.
  23. Thanks to everyone who showed up and made last night a success! Feel free to continue to suggest gamemodes if we do more Overwatch nights in the future, and we'll try to make a post announcing it well in advance.
