So here's a little something thought up by @Natsu to hopefully convenience some people. Basically the purpose of this thread is to have all the maps on our servers accessible as single compressed files as opposed to downloading the maps one at a time whenever joining a server. Hopefully it serves as a more convenient way for people who don't frequent certain servers as much to not have to wait extensively each time they join or the map changes to be able to play, and instead can just have all the maps beforehand. This was considered especially for staff who haven't frequented certain servers when responding to calladmins. Anyways, if you have any thoughts or comments let me know, I might try to keep the files up to date as maps are added/removed and maybe do other servers such as zombie fortress. Feel free to let me know if any of the files are screwed up or missing maps. Otherwise, if you think it's a neat-o thinga-ma-jig be sure to give a thanks to our man Sora, and if you think it's a stupid waste of time, I at least had fun doing it (even if uploading the files killed my wifi). Bumping these again, sorry if there is a reason why they have taken so long but it's been over a week for both, with a general conciseness having seemed to already been made. It's a shame to think that this thread would even exist after how overwhelmingly negative the previously was received. It just comes off as the communities opinion holding absolutely no value.

Now I think you did fantastic as staff Skelly, and could do so again. To me you were an incredibly valued member of surf which is a server i've always felt has needed it's own dedicated staff (at least more so than other servers) and the "surf team" could really use a bolster as of late. The issue is the way in which you left came off as a lack of dedication to the position you held at the time. Now there is nothing wrong with taking a break from the game by any means, you should never push yourself do to something you don't enjoy. It does still create the appearance of your position having been something of lesser importance to you, and the issues you had with tuna made the whole situation seem significantly more petty, menial, and altogether unnecessary. I was excited to see you still playing the game fairly often after you stepped down with it really only seeming like a week or so that you actually left the game for. That being said, this made it seem all the more likely that it wasn't really the game itself that had led to you stepping down. It just seems as if your position wasn't something you valued highly, and it would be a shame to see you treat it poorly again. It has only been a little over a month since you were so promptly ready to step down, which doesn't seem like much time for you to have had a "change of heart" about holding a position as staff. I wish you the best of luck Skelly, and I'd love to see you on the staff rooster again in the future (and I'm sure a number of our surf regulars would as well), but due to how easily you seemed to give up staff before, it's going to be a -1 from me for now.

Your previously block was from the night before and was due to your incredibly rude and disrespectful behavior both to a player and staff. Your outright demand that this player be muted was due solely to their voice being immature, while their behavior was perfectly in check, and based of an outdated and heavily changed rule. You did not leave immediately after this, and choose to instead argue with staff further using admin chat, and it was some time after being addressed and explained to that you choose to even further antagonize staff and then leave immediately after. Your continued attempt to get around the gag for the purpose of attacking others would have landed you a kick had you not left, and quite frankly you should have been banned at that point. The name you choose to use today was very clearly aimed at your frustration over what had occurred and showed an absolute lack of improvement to your behavior on your part. I've heard of you having behavioral problems recently, though others would be more enlightened to any such occurrences than me as I only have experience as to these specific two situations. Overall though, I feel the ban, as well as the time of it due to previous offenses, is very much justified at this point. -1

To address this, i'm going to outright steal from our resident @Forest from the previous thread; In the end of the day, the servers are meant to be a place where anyone and everyone can go and enjoy themselves. Now due to the infinite variety of people there are, it is arguably impossible to make a situation that is satisfying for everyone, but the rules attempt to keep such as close as possible. I don't have much to add to this that wasn't expressed in the previous thread, but what i'd like to say is even though it is ideal to have complete consistency among staff at all times and all situations to be handled perfectly the same, it is not something that will ever be one hundred percent possible until xG is moderated by a team of bots. There certainly is always room for improvement, but what i'd like to express is that staff are people too, and as people, inherently imperfect. I've already explained this situation as I could to you, and would just like you to try and understand there is a significant difference in what can and will be noticed and addressed by staff as the number of issues occurring on the server increases. Other then that, I would like to apologize as I never expressed that I understand how such a situation would feel unfair to you, and will mention one more thing to you in private when I wake up in terms of that particular situation. Now in terms of this particular example, I very much feel this is a direct abuse of donor powers and would not agree with any staff who say otherwise. Having the ability to escape a situation others can not and then potentially hamper them is very much giving yourself an advantage that non-donors distinctively would lack. I would like to address and discuss this particular example as well. The motd states that it is acceptable to noclip to the skybox and build and such which is all fine and good, but there is no specification as to any difference to achieving this through rtd, purchase of no-clip through the hub, or from donation. This is probably something I've seen go both ways more then anything else and while I presonally feel any such situation would be fine in this case, it would be very much appreciated if there could be a specification if using no-clip through donation is excluded from this.

So this appears to be the users forum account if I am not mistaken fren | Xeno Gamers. Otherwise, i'm all for a +1 to a day ban. The user has been behaving in a very racist, discriminating, and offensive manner as evident from the various names he has used and how they have behaved in chat as seen above as well as various other occasions Honestly i'd love to hear his side to things, but I have no faith in anyone reasoning around such blatantly poor behavior especially from someone who is around enough I refuse to believe they are unaware such things are unacceptable.

Could you fix your Identity/steam id? Otherwise, I'm going to stay neutral for now. From what I've seen your behavior is fairly obnoxios but not neccassairly harmful for the most part. Your hitting someone in spawn and then immediately leaving the server last night was also fairly cheeky to say the least.

Gonna bring up a few thoughts then. Firstly, what is considered acceptable or not acceptable in terms of nudity now? Bare butt checks? A bare male chest? Any showing skin? Would a super skimpy bikini be acceptable since it's technically nudity? How about covered butt checks, or butt checks in a thong? Also, I don't mean to assume but I take it "hate symbols" very much would exclude swastika's from being allowed to be displayed? If so, then what about the very clear image of Hitler and a swastika in the cells of casuarina on jailbreak or the Hitler boss of FF2 that displays them on the model? Are these just fine, yet players can't flaunt around with these images themselves? I REALLY don't mean to whine or be petty with this, but my biggest point about this is I felt there was a fairly clear understanding about images beforehand and didn't notice a significant amount of confusion over such (in short genitalia or anything that broke other rules was unacceptable and where the line generally drawn). The rule about imagery certainly needed to be updated and worded better, but now to me it seems as if it's only created further confusion and conflict over what does and doesn't fall within the new ruling and what, if anything (beyond the inclusion about minors), has changed. I just want to know if i'm alone on this confusion, and the last few messages to this thread have lead me to believe otherwise. -
As much as I'd like a prop hunt server, I've only heard the last one did not last very well. Moreover, I'd prefer to see focus go towards other recently implaced servers (uber upgrades and to a lesser extent ff2) instead of being further split and then neither server getting the dedication they need to thrive.

+1 I see Moo on deathrun a fair bit, and he is always friendly and excited. He can be a bit obnoxious with spam and similar behavior, but never has ill intention and doesn't push too far.
