Alrighty, hopefully everyone has had a good nights sleep and had a chance to gather their thoughts a bit. I'm going to adress the points made in OP, throw my opinion in the pile and then unlock the thread to allow further discussion. I think its impossible to be unbiased in situations like this, but i do think i have a decent grasp on how both sides are feeling. If there is anything i have gotten wrong though, correct me or call me stupid, whatever works for you. First off, @LemonVolt, i think the intention of your thread is fine, but you could definitely have expressed yourself better which i think is why this thread was met with such an negative response right off the bat. Labeling people "furries" with a clear negative connotation in addition to the ending of your post makes you come off super condescending. Demanding people do something when you are part of the problem is kinda silly, but im just nitpicking at this point. Lets get into it! These are the groups that are currently clashing and creating drama. Theyre not the only groups in our community, but i can agree that they are probably the most vocal and the most public ones that we have. If i understand this correctly, this statement is because of a private conversation between a few or couple people that got kind of sour and added tension between you guys. I would like to say though, most people dislike tuna not for his current self, which they might not have seen enough of because of arguments or not playing with him or whatever, but because of what he did in the past. I'm sure @YeEternalTuna himself can agree that he is a very opinionated person that isn't afraid of speaking up and just doesnt mesh well with some people. Thats completely fine, we dont have to like or get along with everyone but i think you are being unfair to drag all of the people in that group into the mix because of what happened in a DM between a couple of people from both groups. You said it yourself, people are hating on your group because of one person, isnt it hypocritical to do the same to them? Of course you think the side you're on is better, you're knee deep in this. I'm going to refrain to point out any specifics, but both sides are equally at fault for a bunch of different reasons. I agree though, it shouldnt be a thing. It should have never gotten to this and I should have put my foot down and dealt with it a long time ago. However; (rant) Please don't put all of the blame on the other side when your side is just as much into in this poop as the the other one. There is a lot of built up frustrations from both sides, some of which are completely overblown and are honestly really stupid, others which are very valid and do have basis to them and everything inbetween. Your "group" fall flat in a lot of the same ways as you accuse the "furries" (i hate that you chose to call them this, eugh) of and this problem isnt going to fix itself until all of you realise that. If you want to bury the axe or not is up to you but for the love of god take a good look into the mirror before you do. I'm sick of people constantly blaming others for issues that they play a part in without looking at themselves first. You can point fingers how much you want, but until the people involved are mature enough to try to at least tolerate eachother and not constantly be at each others throats at a mistake so small you would need a microscope to see it, this is going to keep happening. Of course tension rises and fights happen when all your friends jump into the pile of garbage as soon as people disagree about something instead of actually going to the bottom of the problem. This is honestly ridiculous and its turned into "he says, she says" at this point. If we want to fix this, we all all have to put effort in to actually do so. We're a gaming community, we're nerds who just want to hang out and play videogames and have a good time. As a part of the very disappointed and upset CM, all of us need to chill tfo. I don't know why I'd need permission from them. Seabed isn't an intellectual property of theirs just because they ported it to hammer. Like all credit to them for being able to do something like that but I'm not like saying I'm going to patch up a wall and plaster my name everywhere as a contributor. If you don't need permission to rip game assets out of copyrighted material and use them to build a map I certainly don't have to ask you to fix an area of your map you overlooked, while taking no credit. If they really wanted the bugged version it's not like I'm erasing it from existence.

There's really no need to go and do that, I'd recommend if you're going to do this to get permission from the person who created the map. The hole in question isn't game breaking, and you have to actually be trying to get yourself into it.

Everyone was just paranoid from the start, I doubt anyone in this whole scenario genuinely hates one another. I felt coupled into this whole "group" war thing by association (or crossfire), but I don't have quarrel with anyone imo. None of the pm'd remarks or mudslinging ever got to me. I tried my best to stay in the middle on a neutral stance, y'all just need to get along. You don't have to like one another, but this "drama stuff" I suppose is really dumb. Both sides ?

Yeah, just stating things that have definitely tilted my opinion since yeah of course people change but if there are hints of what happened in the past still here today, it shouldn't be dismissed unfortunately. We didn't negate what people thought, it definitely went into mind, but we felt that the best option was to just disable it solely for charging since we can't negate the people who do find it annoying for the people that do find it fun, especially since it's such a pointless feature (though it was very funny). I know exactly how you feel about when you want something to go your way; it doesn't and then you get really angry with the overall decision and you want to complain to someone and make snarky comments (literally me over a year ago). It's completely understandable and I know exactly how you feel, but unfortunately you just have to respect the decision made, maybe rant a bit to your friends if you need to, but making public and passive aggressive statements just make you look immature ? Good for you for bringing it up but I don't like how it was handled at all) There has also been an attitude problem that a lot of people, new and old, have been mentioning. The thing is, though examples would be preferable, it would be very hard to remember every single slay/mute/gag just to specifically pinpoint where you have been as people have described. Clearly it can't be dismissed as multiple people have to have gotten this vibe from somewhere. I know in my experience you sort of have an issue like maf does where it comes down to being very blunt about rules and can come across as argumentative and rude. Hopefully this clears things up on where you need to improve, but all I've seen so far is just more passive aggression really. Hoping to see a change soon. ^^

Welp, back to Romania I go. I was told that some great friends of our family were getting married! We were invited to come over and go to Romania once more. I have known Tuna for quite some time now and I do hate to say it but I believe I will remain neutral for this post. I believe that Tuna has the potential to be staff however there were some occurrences in the past that may have made me think slightly other wise. However if you begin to show some more redeeming qualities I may consider +1ing your application. Just as of now I am not positive that Tuna has the qualities to become a staff member however he is on the brink of breaking those habits and is near to becoming a potential staff member. I don't think it's a matter of argument, tuna has a tendency to heavily push regulations on other staff members and even calls them out on it (nobody else does it out of being instantly shut down by the "staff has final say" rule) when they fail to do so and to be told that you're wrong (especially by someone without power) it makes them feel attacked/offended. Imo he's pretty fit for the position and stays in check with rules even if he can be over the top at times. +1

What do you mean by arguing exactly, because there’s a difference between criticism and actual arguments that some people may not understand. You say it happens everytime he’s on with you so you must have several examples @Nozomi

+ An update. His autopsy came back yesterday 7/9/18. He had a blood clot that led to a heart attack.. Thanks again for letting him be apart of the group with you guys.

Unfortunately, we are here to say goodbye to one of our own, TrollFace aka Asa. Trollface was one of the original members of the community and one of the first higher ups alongside Silence. We found out of his death a few days ago from his girlfriend, and we'd like to formally give our condolences on the forums. XenoGamers would not be where it is today, if it wasn't for him. I wish his family and loved ones all the best, and remember to always show your appreciation to your friends and family cuz you never know when they might be gone.

I'm very tempted to ask for claims to be substantiated. At the same time I'd like the monthly pooppost thread about drama that's not grounded in any verifiable claims or evidence to stop, you know, being at least a monthly thing. Decisions decisions...

I agree with you on this one because I was really upset on the fact that I was slayed without a warning and should've dealt with that better That was over a year ago. He had some real issues with me and he was absolutely obsessed with getting me demoted, going as so far as to try and provoke me to use it as ''evidence''. Bello eventually had to step between us because he did not want to stop bothering me and we had agreed on a truce but he continued either way. He berated me and slandered me so lets please drop this already because this is old poop that I'd rather not have to continue. You talked to me in a condescending tone and I didn't particularly enjoy that so of course I was going to be upset. Recently we had a problem with that spawn issue on the very same map where staff had told me that it was not part of spawn so that whole argument was really silly. This was right after the demo spam thread and it looked like you guys had literally dismissed all of the -1s that were there and I didn't like the end result of that thread and thought it was super ridiculous. It wouldn't have to had turned into an argument if the staff's logic in that situation wasn't so poor. I admit that it could've been dealt with better than it was but I also think the staff member in question could've also done the same. Also I only had commented once when he was talking so I don't see how that could've been too much of a problem, its not like I was talking over them with the intent to disrupt. Some of these points are already done and dealt with (2 and 3) while the rest are recent and are actually good examples and I thank you for pointing them out to me. The passive aggressiveness is a product of me bottling up my anger and frustrations (which come from xG specifically) and I'm not talking about it on the forums so if you really want to talk to me to sort things out then just pm me in discord or set up a time where we can converse in the xG vc. I wish people would just stop clinging to the past so much because its starting to actually make me upset because I'm trying to improve but oh well ?

Everyone on vouching for Tuna is just repeating themselves like "Where's your evidence" and yeah, I agree. There is a major lack of evidence here. However, everyone here has their own personal experience with Tuna and mine consisted of me going on surf and getting verbally attacked and to my knowledge, without a reason. I've only ever seen or heard bad things about Tuna and I think that he's 100% not ready for staff. I'm aware that these -1 and +1 are almost pointless. But Tuna needs to work on his attitude before getting staff, not when he has staff. Downvote me as you will, but giving Tuna staff now is giving a playground bully power. -1

I think my ban is pretty unfair because I only said a few things and I thought we were all just having some fun bantering with eachother. Really it seemed to me like Moo -Moo was unphased by what I had said judging by his responses. Moo -Moo and Mau -Mau really hate my friend kamaal and try to start poop with him constantly, I don't really hate them all that much personally. (Maybe I now I do) I know that it's a month because of my previous bans from Kypari, but I think even those bans are debatable. Everyone knows he hates my guts and just jumps at the chance to punish me for any minute reason he can find at the time. (He's even wrongly banned me for a month in the past and it got instantly repealed because it was unfair) I don't think I deserve this long of a punishment for just chiming in at the start and poking some harmless fun at Moo. And also the admins decided that my ban didn't even need a formal request on the forums, Moo moo just brought it straight to them and they decided to ban me without considering the thoughts of the players??? what the fudge is up with that??? Yes, but no, sometimes, it does not work right on the computer sometimes, and that leaves to tamper with it sometimes. The stand takes up a lot of the room so that I am forced put it right in front of a speaker. Goes as far as to being told to fix the mic when I don't even know how. Otherwise, I hardly use it because a lot of details really make it a pain in the butt for me. That is why I am somehow trying to get a headset so I can avoid a lot of the problems.

For one that's not what happened at all. I just remember coming on and minding my own business when you started saying petty comments and malicious things. I have no idea what you're talking about me not bothering to read some of the rules; seems to me like you're making up situations in your head but heyho. For why I'm here right now it's because sometimes I like to just see how things are going on the forums and seeing this thread pop up made me think I should leave my 2 cents here before staff make a horrible decision or a great decision of giving you staff. If you truly have changed, then good luck. However, all of my past experiences with you have been negative, making me feel uncomfortable when you are on servers.

Gonna keep this short and sweet and I don't care what happens to me. This is actually starting to bother me. Right now xG is split into two groups, the Furry friends, then the Tuna group. The furry group despises the entirety of the Tuna group because of one person, who imo never did anything to deserve it. They're taking it to the extreme and banishing friends to the shadow realm because they have friends in that group. Then what friends they have left after that try to convince them that Tuna's group is the devils house and never talk to anyone there. Then the Tuna group, obviously is poop on the most, it isn't perfect, (I do think that some things could have been handled a little better, but they did what they needed to get the message across) but I think they're much better than the other. It's just fudgeing nonsense and shouldn't be a thing. As a part of the tuna group, the furry group can chill tfo. Do something about it, thanks.
