Motd Suggestions (general And Deathrun)

I know there's a suggestion post thingy whatever but I am a rebel at heart.

Ever since the plugin was changed in Deathrun (NO MORE GIBUS GHOST!?) The MOTD needs a little...refresher.

Also, I'm basing it off of this thingy: TF2 Deathrun Rules

 

"Do not use any weapon that is not your melee."

- We can only use melee due to the plugin so this is kinda pointless..

"No Buddy-Buddy (not killing certain players because you're friends with them)"

- Buddy-Buddy? This makes the MOTD a laughing stock. Try the word Favortism or maybe No Targeting?

 

Some Suggestions:

- I would like something done about pornographic or offensive signs. This doesn't cover it:

"Keep all sprays appropriate. (No pronographic or offensive material.)

- Easter Eggs, I have seen some staff members allow and some others not allow it. Please make up your mind (Hopefully you will allow because they are fun ..)

 

...Yeah that's about it.

1) People can glitch weapons in with donator commands or other secret methods.

2) Buddy-buddy has always been the term used. I see no problem with it.

The term Buddy Buddy wasn't used in the pervious motd to my knowledge. The word Favortism was used, I do know that.

The people who have donator commands should know how to use them responsibly. Most kids that play on the server don't.

Doesn't matter if you think they should know how to use them responsibly. I'm pretty sure everyone knows that you aren't allowed to hack but people do it anyway so we put it in motd.

This is for Deathrun, not Saxton Hale.

You should focus more on the Kamikaze taunt and the Horrors map, Not how to hack to get primary because that's totally useful in DR maps. If a Donator abuses his/her rights. There are responsible people who will call and admin or yell at someone to do the right thing. That's my two cents.

Ain't saying that it does make a difference. I'm saying that the term buddy-buddy makes the MOTD unprofessional. The only other server that might use the buddy-buddy term is Jailbreak (RIP JB2). But we reffered it as favortism (flavortism if you're edgy). If there's another server like..Slender (or was it zombie?) that uses it then so be it. It's a suggestion I'm not throwing a hissy fit about it.

It should stay, the only rule needed to be removed is the first one. No Targeting and no buddy buddy are 2 different things so they both should be rules.

I mean you could just copy paste the updated general rules into the DR one just so its consistent.
