As of recent, as you all know, the TF2 Divison has been struggling a lot recently. It is as a result of multiple reasons, one being a lack of motivation from us which has resulted in the game feeling stale, even on xG. However, Seg's demotion has been a massive wake-up call to Caleb and I who are now going to be working harder than ever before in order to return TF2 to its former glory. We have been discussing things recently and have decided that we are going to do a rework of the rules, coming up with ideas for plugins to keep the game fresh and hope to make our servers better than ever before. We will try to keep you all updated as much as possible as a result of there being previous complaints about lack of communication between the TF2 Higherups and the Community. If anyone has any suggestions whatsoever, please let us know here. Please don't go anywhere; there's much more to come and lots of fun to be had! Let's bring TF2 back. As many of you are aware, there was a post that unrestricted a couple of weapons that were restricted in 10 mans. See this post if you aren't sure on what I mean I just want to gather a poll on how people are reckoning on the re-installment of Negevs, Auto Snipers, and M249. I have heard both sides of people who love it, and who hate it. Personally I feel as if they have ultimately just made 10 Mans much worse, skill based wise and just overall feeling/enjoyment wise also. I understand 10 mans are supposed to be fun and help players learn how to get better, but these weapons just don't help people increase in level of skill, aim or much of anything to be honest. If anybody knows me, I'm always around when there is a 10 man going on, I think right now I have one of the highest round counts (If not - the highest) for 10 mans done. Since Lithium put .rws back in, and I've played a lot of 10 mans since these weapons were added again. In every 10 man I've played, auto's and negevs are ALWAYS used. No matter what, they are always used, they ruin the game in all reality. If you want me to go deeper on how just leave a comment asking me question or so. Other than that, I'm just starting this post to hopefully get them restricted or atleast set to amount of times they can be bought in a game. Please voice your opinions/concerns. If these weapons were broken, they would be abused in competitive as well, but they aren't. This is just from people not being used to playing it, I agree with Virr to wait a month or 2 before asking for changes so quickly. We are legit playing scrims with competitive settings, if those guns aren't broken in comp, why would they be overpowered for scrims? It's ridiculous to even ask to ban items that are IN the game and balanced around the game, the only time I would find it valid is when the R8 first came out because that truly was gamebreaking. Rabid also is not a good example, he is a good player but he also tilts easily from people playing stupidly, and it gets amplified when he doesn't like what he's playing against. Before these guns were unbanned, I always blamed him that he was the one who got them banned in the first place because I knew how he would react if they got unbanned.

Bad players still pretty incapable of utilizing the cheese laser, autos sometimes get bought/dropped (by me :^)) but haven't really been that impactful on games. Also agree with Aegean about the good players going sicko mode not really being different from me just going full AK/AWP to drop 50 instead of 30 with negev/scout. If anything, the Aug has more potential from the worse players because it's cheaper and makes it pretty easy to hold ( @Dannypicacho @SegFault )

i played quite a few ten mans last week which was after the guns were re-added (at least 1 a day) and other than negevs being used by mostly shitty people who couldn't even laser someone, they got used like 2-3 times by decent people. i saw an auto 1 time, and it was from their worst player who decided to go mid (in a really low quality 10 man, like lowest of low.) and got pistol whipped.

Gonna object your comment @Chrono, just because someone else was warned does not mean @LemonVolt does not deserve a warning, especially if he was not there for the warning issued onto Red himself. On top of this, this is one of the few ban protests where I truly feel he understood the ramifications of his objects, and does find what he himself did was stupid. I have team banned so many people idek who this is to be honest. But uhhh don't use the excuse of We all have very bad days, doesn't mean you go out your way to ruin others. Neutral for now until I can find and remember the reason for my ban against you and i'll change my decision.

Alright, for the first step to improving servers I would say is to be more lenient when it comes to rules however at the same time make sure its well secured to prevent any sort of loopholing and to be as descriptive as possible because before hand there were multiple times in which something seemed like a loophole but I wasn't really sure just because it barely touched up on to that very bare bone rules of "no loopholing" if it could be more descriptive all the while removing some of the more so extra rules that aren't really needed it can allow for more freedom on servers while still keeping a very tight structure of the rules to ensure nobody slips by via barely really messing with a rule to the point where if you do an action that is unliked I can easily check against the rules and be able to decide if its a loophole, against the rules, or not, so more descriptive rules with more freedom is what I am getting at. Along with that if anyone server isn't really getting popular I believe that community hosted nights should be able to be started by admins and + to get said servers to be populated, the reason why I say this is because higher ups most of the time can't actually host a community night and if all the admins who don't have as much stress decide than servers can be up and more populated more often, the reason why I say admin and not mod is because they are obviously more trusted, I will most definitely post more ideas soon, just right now I am a bit busy with other things, also if you need help with plugins I know a thing or two (not really but I can try my best, I have the basics down lol).
